I've been making these over the past few months for my servers, and if you're in the official AHiT discord server you may recognize the first one from there! I was lucky enough to have it picked for the emoji contest they held back in May, so now it's an official emoji, muhahaha. Also, the bottom ones are older so they look a little less finished and have less contrast. Maybe I'll update them someday.

These are FREE TO USE in any of your servers! I only ask that if someone inquires about their source that you send them back to this post, or at least my account. Just don't take credit for them :')

And, if you do use them, I'd love to know! Not a requirement by any means, I just am interested to know who else has these hanging around their Discord servers 👀

Hmm... I think I'm good with characterisation? At least, I don't think I make Adrien or Marinette OOC when I write them. And even when they deviate slightly from the show's canon, its within the realm of reason (like Adrien's hero Ladybug persona being slightly different in Kaleidoscope AU since he's a solo hero)

🕯️how do you think engaging with each other through tumblr, twitter, comments, kudos, creates healthy fandom experiences? How do you deal with that if you're not a social person/experience social anxiety?

When people curate their fandom experience and treat each other with respect and kindness, it can really create one of the best experiences of community. There's something really special about obsessing over a piece of media and its characters and find other people who also obsess over it. I've always been really attached to my interests, and IRL I've known other people who've also liked those interests too, but just never to the same extent. Finding other people who like these things just as much as I do is incredibly validating.

I am someone who struggles with crippling social anxiety. Honestly every time I've joined a fandom discord server I have to try not to panic about people welcoming/greeting me. People are just being nice but it's just a reaction I can't help. And there's numerous times when I see a discussion happening and want to join in, but my anxious brain cell stops me (what if i'm misunderstanding the topic? what if i derail the conversation in a bad way? what if i'm interrupting someone else? what if no one actually likes me being here and will get annoyed if I try to join their conversation?? do I just sound selfish if I talk about something I know or do?). It's hard, but when I do persevere through those moments of anxiety my experience has overall been very positive! Being a part of a fandom has only helped me become more comfortable with myself in all sorts of ways. I started drawing a writing again after so many years of not doing it because of the ML fan community! I've found a kind and supportive corner to be comfortable in and I'm so glad to be here even when working through my low moments!

The day 7 ! And finally a really ship ! I don't really like TsukkiYama, I prefer KuroTsukki buuut I ask on the server Discord who reminded most of the star (I'm not sure about the sentence, sorry if it's not English) and people respond Yamaguchi ! It's a big trace of posca sorry about that. And yes, Tsukki have a stuffed rabbit because of the emojis. Talking about that, the emoijs of the day are 🐇🌌🎶. For the rabbit, originally it should be a real rabbit but I don't like the result so switch in a stuffed animal. For the second emojis, it's on the Yamaguchi's t-shirt and the last with music notes is the base of the concept with Tsukki's headphones. I thought about Tsukki when I saw the last emoji. I speak too much, sorry about that !

i think its really interesting how, linguistically speaking, that those of us that contact our coworkers online or over text fairly often or almost exclusively will use different emojis ‘professionally’. i think that this says a lot about how humans in general present themselves, a way of speaking with different people, the same as if you wouldn’t curse around your boss or your parents but with your coworkers and your friends you swear like a sailor, like how you’re soft and sparkly for your significant other but sharp and snarky with your pals, and dont speak much at all at work because you just want to keep your head down and do your job and collect your paycheck. you would use different emojis for each interaction you have with certain people if all of these interactions took place over text. for example i have the exact same set of emojis i use on Slack for both public work discussions and in DMs with my coworkers (such as the one with the monkey covering its eyes, the generic laughing crying face, the fingers crossed, a wide variety of party parrots, and various takes on the thinking face, especially the spinning thinking emoji [and the same one except it spins super fast or becomes very distorted, clearly signifying that im thinking very hard about something])

but i would never use these emojis somewhere say, over text, over snapchat, over facebook messenger, over Discord. and even in these places i use a different set of emojis. for text and snapchat i like the laughing crying face thats sideways, at an angle, sparkles and the gold star, and various animal ones. on facebook i mostly just use the rainbow and snake emoijs, maybe the laughing crying one. but only maybe. 

on discord however, for me, it’s a lawless no man’s land where the generic emojis (outside of the trademark symbol) are fucking blasphemy and if you use them you will instantly become a target and will be destroyed on sight. anime emotes only!!!!!

Would it be possible to make a (dragon) trilling stim emoji? Like the sounds some birds make or the noises that Night/light furies make in how to train your dragon- kinda like a "Brrrrth" type noise? Almost like a purr but...not- sorry if that's a really bad explanation but I stim like this a lot and I can't find an existing emoji anywhere :(
