Veiled Vanguard 🎭

Obihiro Division Veiled Vanguard is the group featuring horse breeder and fugitive Hisoka Tetsumasu, the waiter ("secretly" super hero) Daiki Kamiyama, and the butler Jack Verrill.

The group's color is a yellow ochre, it's color meant to be both optimistic but also a warning.

The group's symbol is a spiral-pinwheel design, meant to represent a peaceful cycle. All members have this symbol either printed or engraved onto their clothing.

The group's hand sign is for the thumb to curve in while the pointer and remaining fingers create a ovular shape to mimic a mask.

The team's leader Hisoka was singled out by Chuohku for an unknown reason, but most likely for all the crimes he had committed and managed to avoid punishment for. For that reason he resorted to recruiting his team members in a moment of panic.

Niigata Division’s Valor Guard is an all-male rap group consisting of Chief of Police and Division Leader Seiji Tsukimoto, along with fellow members Homicide Detective Lyall Shiba, and Paramedic Ayumu Hayami.

The group's color is dark green. The color represents balance, harmony, and hope, something that the team wants to represent to the country.

The group's symbol is a lion that traditionally symbolizes courage and strength.

The group has some form of a lion on them. Seiji wears it as cufflinks on his dress shirt, Lyall wears it as a pin on his tie, and Ayumu has it as a tattoo on his shoulder. 

Their hand sign from Rhyme Anima is a V shape with their hands. 

Though these men may have joined the D.R.B. for different reasons, they all share the goal of keeping the country safe from harm.

Arakawa Division Sounds of Silence is an all-female rap group consisting of the renowned yoga instructor, Ivelisse Martinez, the jewel designer, Hoàng Diệu, and the photographer and Division leader, Alexis Ward.

The group's color is black, as the color meshes well with other colors. It is also considered to be the color of 'silence'.

The group's symbol is that of the fox, an animal that is commonly associated with being sly, cunning, cautious, and above all, silent. They are also associated with spirituality, cleverness, and trickery, three aspects that define each member of the team.

The group has some form of a fox on them. Alexis has a fox charm pendant on the collar of her suit jacket, Dieu has a tattoo of a fox on the back of her right leg, and Ivelisse has a fox charm bracelet on her left wrist.

The group's hand sign from Rhyme Anima is them placing their index finger on their lips, signifying 'silence'.

The three have seemingly nothing in connection with one another, but all three are bonded together by the love of their respective countries. And though they don't necessarily trust each other, they have agreed to work together until they have each fulfilled their individual objectives, which is finding out what Chuohku is up to.

Summary: Anika Kiyozaki receives a rather peculiar invitation from Chuohku to join the territory battles. Already having little faith in herself, she is unsure of who to recruit. In the meantime, Shian Meizono receives word that a client of hers has become a wanted fugitive for the court and she is now gearing up for a brand new hunt. And just when Makina Setsukura decides enough is enough and begins to ache for some type of escape from reality, neither Anika, Shian, or Makina could have ever imagined what bizarre events would be coming their way.

Roppongi Division Private Party is a rap group consisting of the extreme stuntman, Zakari Hiroya, nightclub owner, Mireya Quinlan, and highly acclaimed disk jockey and Division leader, Kai Quinlan.

The group's color is midnight blue, the color of the night sky, which is when the city comes alive and people get into all kinds of mischief, whilst letting their true selves show.

The group's symbol is that of the moon and stars, two symbols associated with nighttime, which, as mentioned, is when the city comes alive.

The group has some form of the moon and stars on their person. Kai has a moon and stars tattoo behind his left ear, Mireya has a moon and stars charm at the end of the necklace she wears, and Zakari has a moon and stars adorning his hoodie.

The group's hand sign from Rhyme Anima is the 'Y' sign from ASL, which is your index, middle, and ring fingers touching the palm of your hand, whilst your thumb and pinkie finger are pointing outward.

All three members are revered as 'Roppongi's #1 Family'. The nightlife, music, dancing, gambling and good times are what unite these three. And though they were forced by Chuohku into entering their rap tournament, they've chosen to see it as a positive in hopes that they can throw the biggest and loudest party Japan has ever seen.

Katsushika Division’s Death Row Block is a rap group consisting of Hitman and Division Leader Akihisa Mashiro, along with fellow members Serial Killer Touya Kisaragi, and Terrorist Bomber Rintaro Himura with Hidden 4th Member, Akari Himura.

The group's color is a deep red. The color was chosen to symbolize the blood that stains their hands. 

The group's symbol is a handcuff. It represents the group's imprisonment and was chosen to remind the members that they have no freedom.

The group has some form of a handcuff on them. Akihisa has one connecting the harness around his chest, Touya wears a modified one as a pair of bracelets on each wrist, and Rintaro has it as a buckle on his belt. 

Their hand sign from Rhyme Anima is the middle finger. 

Though these men seemingly have nothing in common, they are drawn together by one thing: they’re all inmates on death row and have been given an offer by the Prime Minister. Enter the D.R.B. and they get a chance to get off death row.

ENIGMA is Setagaya Division's representative rap group consisting of the popular singer and songwriter, Yorii Sakuma, resident animal-lover, Elliot Shimizu, and student council president and division leader, Mina Nakayama.

The group's main color of choice is navy blue, as they consider it a calming and peaceful color, which is a stark contrast to them.

The group's logo is that of a cat, which makes sense considering that they all live in the city of Setagaya, which is home to Gotokuji Temple, birthplace of the maneki-neko.

Each member has a cat somewhere on their person. Mina has a cat charm bracelet on her left arm, Elliot has a lucky cat charm keychain attached to his set of keys, and Yorii has a tattoo of a lucky cat on his right upper arm. Also, the three own a pet cat in their shared apartment.

Their hand sign from Rhyme Anima is the ASL sign for 'mystery', which is essentially all four of the fingers, save the thumb pointing down touching the palm. The index finger is higher than the others. And the thumb is touching the middle finger.

Despite all three of these individuals appearing somewhat normal, they are far from it. Used, kidnapped or discarded by Chuohku as part of their heinous experiments, they all have gaps in their memories, which they are working together to recover. And if Chuohku seeks to get in the way of that, they will show no mercy.

Nara Division 🦌🍁

Welcome to our ancient city where the deer roam free!

Nara Division “Miraitabi (未来旅)” is an all-male rap group consisting of the part-timer and division leader; Yuuya Kanata, the wagashi artist; Asahi Tomoharu, and the property appraiser; Saigo Fuyugami. Each member also contains a kanji of “season” in their surname.

The group’s color is “Deer Brown (#BA8759)” like the famous animal of Nara’s.

The group’s symbol is a deer 🦌 and Momiji (Japanese Maple) leaves 🍁. While the deer is believed to be a sacred messenger of gods according to Shintoism, the momiji leaves are a symbol of autumn —the picturesque season associated with time and change.

For the symbol of the group, each member has at least one bronze momiji somewhere near the position of their heart: Yuuya has a small charm hanging beside his omamori pendant, Asahi has a clip clutching at the left lapel of his clothes, and Saigo has a couple of them on his chain brooch. 

The group’s hand sign from Rhyme Anima is extending one’s thumb up and pointing pinky finger out while holding the other curled. When holding it up near one’s ear, it is interpreted as “Call me hand 🤙”; meaning no matter what happens, they are still in connected and will always get each other’s back.

Even if they’re clearly unique in their own styles, their differences mean to facilitate the best in each other. And although their lives just intersect by a certain slip of fate, their bonds gradually woven into that of a family.

Tracing from the past, intertwining with the present; together they set on their journey to the future, with the purpose of seeking for something that has once faded away from both their and people’s hearts.

Ginza Division 💀

Last Judgment is Ginza Division's representative rap group, consisting of: formerly acclaimed rapper, Oki Teagan, self-made billionaire, Eiji Noguchi, and infamous preacher and Division Leader, Masa Judice.

Their team color is gold, as it signifies the team's wealth, fame, and their desire for victory.

The group's symbol is that of a skull. It signifies death, as well as the fact that it coincides with the group's name, as one must be dead before being judged by God, Charon, or whoever. It also signifies that no matter what a person's role is in life, all must meet Death one day and be prepared to be judged.

Each member has a skull somewhere on their person: Masa has a skull bracelet on his left wrist, Masa has a charm of a skull on the collar of his suit jacket, and Oki has a tattoo of a skull on the back of his neck.

The group's hand sign in Rhyme Anima is simply them using the index finger on their free hand and touching their forehead with it, which signifies their skull.

The group, formed under the leadership of Masa, has joined the D.R.B. for their own reasons. It's unknown if they like or even trust each other, but all three men have agreed to work together to win this D.R.B. in order to achieve their goals.

Ōta Division 🐦

The Birds of Prey are Ōta Division's representative rap group, consisting of the Chinen sisters, which are: well-known street performer, Taria Chinen, police investigator, Kira Chinen, and equally loved and hated character evaluator and Division Leader, Chinami Chinen.

Their team color is royal purple, as all three find the color meshes well with their favorite colors.

The group's symbol is that of the bird, of which there are different kinds all throughout the world. All birds have different meanings, but they all have one thing in common: freedom. The freedom to go wherever their wings guide them as they fly high above the sky is something that each sister values and respects.

Each sister has their own favorite bird, which is implemented somewhere on their person. Taria has a bracelet with a magpie charm on it. Kira has a tattoo of a cassowary on her upper left arm. And Chinami has a ring of a raven on her left ring finger.

The group's hand sign from Rhyme Anima is the 'bird' hand sign from ASL. The pinky, ring, and middle fingers are closed together while the index and the thumb are sticking out. The index occasionally hits the thumb.

Much like the Buster Bros!!! of Ikebukuro, the sisters rely on one another and have each other's backs. And though they often have their disagreements and enjoy bickering, they truly love and care for each other as they know they have only themselves to rely on now that their parents are gone.
