Obsessed with how there’s literally one actual word in this ask

God, that’s so weirdly specific, and also a fandom I have not thought of in years

Let’s see what I remember

Liana would be an Aquamarine, cause they’re small, manipulative little bastards, and has wings. Plus, their fashion senses are kinda similar. Another alternative with be a Zircon, but I think Aquamarine fits better. Her gem would probably be on the back of her hand.

Wes would be an Agate. First instinct was Topaz since, big yellow guy, but it felt too obvious. I just like the idea of poor Wes being expected to be in charge of an entire facility like Holly Blue, and having about five breakdowns per minute. Plus there’s an actual agate called the moss agate, which is fitting with his cloak. His gem would be located on his bicep.

Gertrude would be a Rose Quartz. Most quartz soldiers are shown to be big, intimidating, and powerful, but are mostly huge friendly dorks with a strong sense of community. The ones at the zoo were more like therapists than actual warriors, which checks out great with our doggy gal. An Emerald would probably work as well, if you wanna play more into the whole princess thing she kinda has going for her, seeing as they are commanders. Her gem would probably be on her back.

I’m inclined towards a Ruby with Johnny, and that’s like 60% because our Ruby became a cowboy for one episode. But also little red guy! Fire powers! Usually very dumb, naive, and fighting inclined! That’s our boy right there! Johnny would probably have his gem on his forehead.

Jassy is a Jasper, but one that came out wrong. I’m mainly thinking Skinny here, cause like while Jassy is strong she is also a bit more on the slim side compared to a regular Jasper, but otherwise she fits. Just like what I said during Gertrude’s bit, while Quartz soldiers are strong they’re also a bit goofy. She would have her gem over her left eye.

Jekiv is difficult purely because his whole thing is necromancy and the undead, but like that shit ain’t really a thing on Homeworld (Unless I missed a very interesting sounding comic). So instead I’m thinking of Jekiv as either a Pearl (Rebellious Pearl, snarky as hell) or a Peridot (Small grumpy green little goblin) though, maybe he’d be like one of those, fusion experiment things. Idk, I’m at a loss here. His gem would be on his belly button anyway.

Novo is a Spinel, to no one’s surprise. I mean the energy, the old timey rubber animation, the fucking running mascara. All those Blue Diamond!Spinel designs work very well with him, though he’d probably wear mostly human clothes. A Larimar or a Sapphire could also work, with the ice powers I mean, but other than that there’s not a lot of correlation. His gem would be on the back of his head.

An alternative to all of this would be that the kids are the fusions of the parents, which would mean that I would have to figure out what they would be, which I’m not doing. I think @chrisrin has done some Boatem fanart of that? Idk

Status Report

Now officially halfway through my vacation time, and what have I got to show for it? Meh. On the plus-side, it hasn't been so stinking hot out over here, so we've been enjoying it while we can... 1. A friend has asked to read my longfic, the poor sod. Am trying to figure out the most polite way I can of saying, "hells no". That's right, dear strangers, I am determined that apart from DL, never will I give my fic writing to anyone else I know IRL. Not making that mistake again. 2. Formatting each chapter for typesetting is a thumping bore, to quote Holly Golightly. Am 30/80 chapters in, though, and am committed to completing at least 2 chapters/day. Of course, I may be...copyediting a bit along the way. *guilty laugh* Couldn't help it - the early capitalization and dialogue punctuation errors finally got to me. DL is rather embarrassed about missing them (gotta love ADD sometimes). Hyperfocus can be a blessing and a curse... 3. Pulled the trigger on some new novels that were on my summer reading list. Feels so good to be back at it again. It's like rediscovering an old love, or making new friends.

4. Am about a third of the way through FFXVI; as usual, taking it slow - savouring the gameplay (fun mechanics), the beauty of all the details in the atmosphere and music, and the compelling, dramatic storytelling. DL has really enjoyed watching me play, and apart from reading, it's been a nice way to wind down at the end of the day. 5. In spite of all of the above, I guess I just can't let this character go. You know the one I mean. He's got way too much backstory potential. That may intrigue some of you. ^_^ So a new (much shorter, I promise) WIP is on the development horizon. And no, I'm not posting until everything is complete, this time. Not putting folks through that again! XD

Nunnally does not consider herself brave, nor acts bravely. If she is brave, that is usually out of foolishness. She also does not truly believe she can get really hurt, because of what she is and who her father is. So, that often adds to her foolish behaviour.

Nunnally has absolutely no courage to face the truth about herself, her own life and the man she calls 'father', and she always chooses to hide behind the walls of denials and lies. So, I guess her bravest moment was when she internally decided she would have her own agenda to pursue, when she internally decided that her father is not always right, and she needs to do differently, without his permission, to save him and save herself. She does not have enough courage to openly challenge him or even talk about that with him.

You can say her most courageous moment was when she had decided she was not going to be a player in a big game, but when she finally started to play it, i.e., reaching for the throne and becoming Eve (that is mostly DL related; still under development).

holly: how strong is your muse’s sense of intuition? are they aware of it? do they ever fear that it is only paranoia?

Strong, but never, or hardly ever, listened to. Nunnally believes in logic, in the power of mind, in science. She would like to make her decision based on these values. Obviously she fails, especially when it comes to forming any kind of bonds with others.

She often talks with the "hidden self", that is partially her intuition, partially the girl she really is but does not allow herself to be. However, Nunnally would usually disregard the voice inside her. No matter if that voice represents intuition or logic, as Nunnally often acts illogically even if the denies it.

It would really be better for her if she took the kind advises from her inner self!

Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to finally share this huge CAS CC update!

Note: This update focuses on CAS items and does not include mods like poses, filters, or loading screens.

⬇️ Here’s a breakdown of the update (must read):

📌 1. Revamped Hairstyles

5 revamped hairstyles: Ivy hair, Sally hair, Molly hair, Holly hair, and Nancy hair.

What’s new: new mesh, updated textures, better weighting, and reduced poly counts.

Changes to Nancy hair: Nancy hair has a new version and the ombre that used to be part of the default swatches is now an accessory.

 You can keep both the revamped and original versions, but I recommend trying the revamped ones for the best experience!

📌 2. Minor Fixes & Updates

Hair fixes: I fixed some strange specular issues (like shiny spots) on hairs such as Hazel hair and Rei hair.

Sort layer issue: The sort layer for the first swatch of Cosmic Palette Jeans_F has been changed, so it will no longer be overlapped by shoe patterns.

Unisex CC: All makeup and accessory CC for hair have been updated to be unisex.

📌 3. New Thumbnails

Updated thumbnails: I’ve replaced almost all CC thumbnails with images of the same model sim with the same hair color, and the bottom-right corner now has a capybara logo to indicate they’re mine.

Labeled accessory thumbnails: Accessory thumbnails now come with labels to make it easier for you to identify them at a glance.

Original version thumbnails: I’ve also updated the thumbnails for the original versions of revamped hairs, in case you prefer to keep using them.

📌 4. CC Index in CAS

New organization: Before, my CC was scattered across various categories in CAS, but now I’ve reorganized everything! You’ll be able to find all my CC grouped together.

Sorted by filename: I’ve also sorted everything alphabetically by filename, so different versions of the same hairstyle will now appear next to each other for easy access.

⭐️ All the updated CC has been bundled into 1 or 2 zip files (hair and other cc) for easy download. You can still download individual items from the original posts (I’ve updated all the links). This update took me a lot of time and effort, and it’s been a long-term goal of mine to get this done. I really hope you enjoy it!
