So I have that headcanon that Ron never interacted with video games. Sometimes he will look what Terry is doing but does not get into it - Until that one day (his birthday) Terry Jr. and Samantha got him a Nintendo 3Ds with Nintendogs - Ron at first wouldn‘t even adopt a dog, he would appreciate first all the dogs that are at the shelter and wait until a dog shows the most interest in him. And he will name that first dog Rouge - F my plans for today I‘m gonna draw Ron playing Nintendogs now

honestly I will die on the hill that Glenn isn’t “the worst” dad and that all the dads are just as bad as him. also will argue that they’re not “bad” at all and that they’re mediocre at worst (definitely room to improve but I have seen way worse “mediocre” parents in media)

but seriously I feel like for the most part people give the other dads a lot of leniency whereas all Glenn’s actions are constantly taken as badly as possible. like for eg: do we know for sure that he’s still touring after Morgan died? assuming he’s 34 at the start of s1 and formed the band at 18 that’s about 11 years he possibly could’ve been touring for for all his stories to come from (this is a genuine question I don’t remember whether he’s mentioned it or not. but even if he is still touring he might not be touring outside of California/nearby nick) also I see people throwing around that he’s touring roughly four months of the year and idk whether that’s a canon number I’ve forgotten or not but realistically: he’s in a Christmas band. no way they’re touring longer than 2months lol

anyway all the dads kinda suck a lil and Glenn isn’t worse than any of them. darryl and grant can barely talk to each other, ron gets mad at terry jr for being upset at them for killing vampire terry sr, henry’s inability to teach his kids consequences constantly puts them in a lot of danger and this is just one bad trait from each of them. I could dig deeper but that would make this already long ask wayyy too long

He gets a ship for the first time and hustles a sailor for a fishing rod and then spends two weeks fishing off the side of the boat. Doesn't do great, pulls up a few fish and a few monsters, but boy does he have the bug. So the next port the party is at, well. Sal buys six more fishing rods and distributes them to everyone. Now every time I, the DM, mention water, Sal perks up and forces everyone else to go fishing. It's a weekly thing. Every session, we fish. Because of our man Sal."
