This has appeared in my notes again, and since I'm in an AU mood... I decided to finish it properly. Dorian survived the experience, but in this AU too he isn't the fondest of life outside. For unknown reasons, who wouldn't wish to have the Hawke kids treatment?

Please appreciate Varric, it took me ages to paint all that hair. Yes it could have been more but my patience ended.

Favorite Male Character: my boy FENRIS mr edgy elf w the white hair because i just love magical and reluctant amnesiac assassins i guess

Favorite Female Character: flemeth because she’s SO COOL AND BADASS and reminds me a lot of ursula from the little mermaid, tho morrigan is a close 2nd. honestly tho there’s SO many good ladies it’s like picking between children

Least Favorite Character: i don’t actually out and out DISLIKE any dragon age characters i don’t think? even complicated and controversial ones like anders/sebastian/meredith/loghain/etc…i can find something i like there…the closest i can come is solas, who i have extremely mixed feelings about, and then oghren and sera, who just…i don’t dislike them exactly but i don’t really like them either. Big Neutral.

Favorite Ship: i’m in rarepair hell over cullen/dorian…they could make it work…I Believe

Favorite Friendship: does isabela and aveline count…

Favorite Quote: nothing immediately comes to mind except like every word exchanged between varric and cassandra

Worst Character Death (if any): F L E M E T H >:( this is the sole reason i cannot feel more sympathetically towards solas tbh

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: i forgot to fill this in when i first posted it but when hawke showed up in da:i i LOST MY SHIT!!

Saddest Moment: only those SOULLESS JERKS who leave hawke behind in the fade and make varric cry get to see the saddest moment :(

Favorite Location: after all this time i still have a soft spot for the hanged man…although the scenery in da:i is so gorgeous i can’t not name a few from there…the emerald graves, the hissing wastes, and oh yeah that one section of the dlc where you get to roam around inside a titan and the only light comes from those blue glowing lyrium veins and there;s a lyrium ocean below?? fucking bonkers. i’m not even that into dwarf lore but how can you not love that…

Favorite Female Character: am i wrong to say jessamine when she got fridged basically instantly and emily and billie are both fine female protagonists and delilah is a wonderfully layered antagonist? if so, idw be right

Least Favorite Character: DAUD CAN EAT ME I HATE HIM SO MUCH

Favorite Ship: it’s corvo/jessamine LOOK I KNOW WHAT I LIKE OK

Favorite Friendship: billie & emily interaction is ABSOLUTELY fascinating and full of Layers

Favorite Quote: a few of the npcs lines are TRULY fantastic but i can’t repeat any of them here (one of them is on cathy’s bio). on a sadder note, “when you are near, my heart is at peace”

Worst Character Death (if any): ………..jessamine. i guess it kind of had to happen for there to be a game so 2nd worst is daud’s cause it shoulda happened WAY SOONER

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: the first 20 minutes of DH2 where emily calls corvo father about 50000 times in a row i literally thought i was going to explode

Saddest Moment: i think the goodbye conversation you have with jessamine (as either protagonist) in dh2 is up there, but also all the little moments that shine a light on how shitty life is for the npcs - that guy dying on the corpse mountain in the flooded district level and that poor lady sokolov was experimenting on being told she’d get better when she was really dying. like, jesus, what a shitty world.

Favorite Location: w/o a doubt the area outside of lady boyle’s party because the clock tower is SO pretty. CLOSE SECOND is the dust district because what a cool and fascinating area and also corvo’s house is there
