there’s so much i want to say, there’s so much i want to talk about!!! like when he sees her with her wedding kimono and he’s so taken aback by her and daydreams about her after being beaten lol .. when he tells akane he’s moving in with shampoo to handle a problem and she assumes he got her pregnant and he says that’s gross (pretty much destroying everyone who automatically thinks ranma would want to have a relationship/family with shampoo) … or when he is so righteously angry at akane for not coming to say goodbye that he destroys their boat .. i have so much to say about all those moments but i think this is the moment where he just knew in his heart and head, that akane tendo was his home !!!!

when he thinks he’s stuck and unable to get out, his regrets all revolve around her: how he wishes he said goodbye, how he wishes he were home with her because he still hasn’t lived a whole life with her yet!! and more than that, this is an example of akane saving him because when he thought he couldn’t escape, he saw her and she guided his way out .. she’s literally his guiding light !!!!!!

it’s driving me insane how the ending emphasized three things:

how ranma wants to marry akane (just not yet cause they are way too young)

how ranma only ever thinks of akane whenever he feels like he might not make it (and then for the akane in his mind to push him forward/save him)

how akane tendo truly is the home ranma saotome always wanted

this is why they all think akane is his weakness but in reality akane is his strength, because for her he literally never stops trying !!! his ego is no longer his reason to always be the best .. it’s her !!!!!!!!!

- Akari loves his dedication, and the way he's willing to go to any length to protect those he cares about. She sees that he has a heart too big for his own good, even if he's terrible at showing it in more traditional ways. She loves his strength, and how he has pulled free of trauma and heartache and hurt. They're two sides of the same coin, and she understands in a distant sort of way that she's strong too, but seeing it in him makes her brave.

- Akari fell in love slowly, and then all at once. There was no conscious decision behind it; they grew close and every little quirk and trait about him, all the ways he loves and laughs and his heart and kindness, and the darker parts of his soul that he slowly bared to her. By the time she realized she might be falling for him, she was already down bad yknow lmao. And then she just sort of hid herself away, because she didnt think he'd look at her like that. But then one day he was breaking down, and she was breaking down, and they held one another and cried and got shit off their chest and suddenly there were tears and whispered I love you's and a tender kiss.

- Hanako has been handmaid to Mito for practically her entire life. She knows everything, every little quirk about Mito; how she prefers black tea and avoids heavy jewelry and loves to walk barefoot in the grass. Hanako is dedicated, and she loves Mito so damn much. She has such a weight on her shoulders and Hanako does everything in her power to make it easier to bear, even if it's by sneaking her a snack from the sleeves of her kimono or rubbing her shoulders or brushing her hair or just holding her.

- madahana started off as a joke but bro. i dont think its a joke anymore. There has been this underlying tension between the pair of them; they have respect for one another but they also have catfights. She insults him but that's essentially foreplay for an Uchiha. He delights in breaking her perfect composure and she hATES it she pulls his hair and he steps on the hem of her kimono and they are children, actually. But basically they had that moment of "oh god we're standing way too close and I think I want to kiss you" and the rest is history.
