Happy Monday. You’re absolutely GLOWING!! ⁣ ⁣ I’ll never understand why ppl hate Monday's. They are a fresh start. A new week. A chance to say, “today is gonna be a good day!” ⁣ ⁣ Did you know that when you start your week off negatively, you are setting yourself up for failure? The way you speak to yourself has EVERYTHING to do with how your day goes. ⁣ ⁣ Chances are, if you wake up hating Monday, it’s gonna be a bad day. You’ll look for things to be grumpy about. The line at the coffee shop = huge setback. The train comes 5 mins later than you thought = end of the world. Your boss says something you don’t like = sets off a fire in your brain. ⁣ ⁣ When you start the day off grateful & positive, chances are these things won’t bother you as much. You’ll see the line at the coffee shop as an opportunity to get more time listening to your podcast. The train being late as something that happens - the world will not END if you’re a little late to work. The comment from your boss will more easily roll off your back. ⁣ ⁣ Next time you wake up hating Monday, take a deep breath, practice some gratitude, and DECIDE that you’re gonna have a good day.
