When I was a kid, the second concert I ever saw was The Cars with Wang Chung opening for them, and I kinda have to say that Wang Chung knew how to work the room better (OK, the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium better). Their big hit, “Everybody Have Fun Tonight,” was still a few years away, but they seemed pretty good. That said, it was still a few decades before I picked up the album they had been touring for at the time, “Points on the Curve,” probably for a buck or so; it’s easy to find in used record shops. Anyway, it turned out to be a sleeper hit—if you dig that Eighties New Wave sound, that album serves it up in spades. Produced by the same team that would record Tears For Fears’ seminal “Songs from the Big Chair” a year later, it has the top-20 hit “Dance Hall Days” and this non-hit, “Don’t Let Go.” This is yet another UK shaped picture disc, and just to make it a liiiitle bit more New Wave, they made it look like a Simmons electronic drum set. Ironically, their drummer quit the band after this single, just before their mainstream breakthrough on the next album. That’s a drummer with bad timing!

"Hold me,,? Dontletgo,,," He whimpers, letting his eyes start to close. He wanted to know his dad was going to be alright, he needed to know his dad was gonna be alright before he let go.

Jason tracks down the building Dickies in ripping his way in not caring if he bruises his hands or anything, He gets inside. "Bud!?" He yells out for him.

The boy couldn't respond coherently, everything was bluring into itself and he tries to push past that to hear. The voice he hears sounds like dad, did dad come to help him? Did he?!! He wanted dad, wanted to be told everything was going to be alright despite the black blood covering his little hands and his jacket- smudged all over the floor by him.

"d...d-dad..?" he rasps out, whimpering at the effort, he curled in on himself further. "p...papa,, n-need you,,"
