she was never quite sure why, but reggie maxwell always tried to pick a fight with bill denbrough. it wasn’t that she disliked him, contrary to many beliefs. it was simply, she believed, because he was in charge, and reggie wasn’t one for authority. and yet, even if she argued and dismissed him, she listened to what he had to say. though she would never admit it to him, she thought bill was the best leader they could have had. she wouldn’t follow anyone else into the sewers.

| ✕ | It was easy to see how much Eddie confided in the other after that night in the SEWER . He was a WRECK and needed all the support he could get ; Luckily Bill was there for him .

For the minor stuff Eddie would talk to Richie, but he was so WORRIED about staying strong around him. Yet, for some reason when he spoke to Bill he wasn’t afraid to BREAK-DOWN. Maybe it was the way the Bill would talk about what happened. The way they would both talk about the TERRORS and NIGHTMARES they had? Or maybe he just trusted Bill becuase he was the leader of the pack? Either way the times they got to talk about what they’ve been through we’re important to Eddie.

It had been weeks since that DEVASTATING night in the sewer, and still Eddie couldn’t stop the NIGHTMARES. It seemed he could only sleep quietly when he was with a friend, and he HATED it. He wanted to be able to just move on but he couldn’t. That CLOWN took everything from him. It STOLE his summer and his happiness; he just wanted things to be normal again.

He’s pulled out of his thoughts as he walks up to the other’s door. Softly tapping on the wood with his non-casted hand. He was sure Bill had already seen him so he didn’t want to make TOO MUCH noise. Even if he was STRESSED he was still going to be respectful. He stood there waiting for the other to finally open the door, mumbling something SARCASTIC under his breath. “ Bill, hurry up! It’s COLD out here, and I DON’T like it. ”

          “ IS IT , BILLY ?  IS IT ALL IN YOUR HEAD ?  OOOH NO . . .  YOU KNOW BETTER THAN THAT. ”  but that awful elasticity of body has wrapped fully around him now , hands grasping his face - one at the top , one at the bottom just below the jaw - with harsh fingertips pressed , bruising , into skin.  but its forcing vision into a mirror only inches away , making sure that bill is staring straight on at the reflection of something malicious , grinning back at him.

          it’s reminiscent on the last meeting they’d had that day back when he was a child - when he gave himself up so that his friends could get away.  when the clown pulled him close , held him tightly as if it would never let him go.  a predator constricting its prey , saliva building up at the corners of its mouth the more that teeth protrude , poke at the softness of pseudo - human display.  this time , however , the bite to its words is sharper - angrier - and those fingertips slowly turn to claws , threaten flesh like knives.

          “ YOU’VE ALWAYS BEEN SUCH A STUPID , STUBBORN BOY , ” the frown that had found itself plastered there , stretched like taffy for an extra bit of dramatic anger , has begun to twist upward again.  awful - horrid , an ear - to - ear smile where gums are exposed , riddled with yellow fangs as the pattern of red lines is followed , opening , up its face.  it tilts its head , plops it roughly against the side of bill’s face with a distorted giggle.  “ I CAN GIVE YOU A BETTER ENDING FOR YOUR STORIES !  I’D VERY MUCH LIKE TO BE INCLUDED . . . ”

When I made Bill, I hadn't expected to run into any Audra roleplayer, but I'm so so glad that I did. I follow because you add such a depth to an otherwise unexplored character, and I really appreciate your ability to make her so interesting 💞💕
