Father/Daughter HCs with Underfell Asgore, Underswap Asgore and Mafiatale Asgore?

{ Oh, I don’t do Mafiatale so I can write only the Fell! and Swap! Versions this time. }

👨‍👧 Fell! Asgore ;

We cannot describe him like the best father of the world and he is still the one who has brought into force the law “kill or to be killed”, so it can make people think about the nature of this man. Then, being king is not always easy so he often ignores his children, just think about the poor Asriel who is grown up without a dad. Asgore frequently ignored Asriel when he was a kid so Asriel became an insecure and strange person, he can be considered like a maladjusted and Asgore had permitted to Alphys doing experiments to him, this is the reason why Asriel has turned to a flower. I don’t know how being the daughter of this man can be a good experience. On the other hand, to be his daughter could give you so many benefits and privileges since you are respected and protected as a royal citizen of the Underground.  The Underground is not a safe and peaceful place so it’s lucky you are his daughter so nobody will mess with you. Then, Asgore has always dreamed having a female kid while Toriel wanted a male so she had been the one to be satisfied this time, maybe it’s one of the reasons Asgore is not so attached to Asriel and this is so sad. The same Asriel could develop a sort of envy towards you, for this reason he could consider you like his rival because you seem the favourite child but it’s something normal in the Underground since everyone usually fights and wants to be the strongest and the best person alive, demonstrating their own value. It’s the main rule, after all and you have to demonstrate to be the greatest by fighting as well, or the King is going to kicked you out of his realm, he is the kind of person who does not understand the sense of those qualities like kindness and benevolence. There are some moments when Asgore is not a bad father even if he never shows his sentiments and affection so you have to be a good observer understanding the hidden meanings of his words. He will be the one who wants to train you, teaching you the art of fight because you need to know it to survive and to earn respect here. Maybe those are the most pleasant moments you will spend with him, because he is a very closed person especially after the divorce with Toriel he became colder and meaner. You have to be patient but with the right amount of tolerance and understanding he could confess to you his true feelings, being able to be a more present and generous father for you (within his limits).  

👨‍👧 Swap! Asgore ;

Asgore has seen too many destroyed souls in his life and he is sick and tired of it, so he tries his best to protect you from his Ex-Wife who wants to conquer as much souls as she can, and the only thing he can do is not to make you cross the ruins. He is very happy when you decide to stay with him, and he is such a good father, since it’s the thing he loves doing the most. Now, you are his only reason to exist since he considers his sons like his everything and he tries to give to them what they need to be happy and satisfied. Sometimes, Asgore can appear a little too apprehensive and you may think he is too much clingy and over protective towards you but he acts like this because he has to protect you because he knows how this world can be difficult and cruel. Asgore has already lost two of his sons and he does not want to lose you, too. It’s something he would not be able to handle. His soul suffered so much so he must be sure you are safe and sound. You can still befriend the other monsters since he does not want you to isolate yourself or being alone. You can socialize as you want but it’s better if you remain nearby Snowdin and he knows the skeleton brothers would take care of you since they are his friends and they are harmless. Even Sans, who wants to be a part of the royal guard, will never hurt you despite he says he wants to catch you but you can have fun with him and his brother so you have nothing to worry, until you do not get away from the ruins and you do not reach the Castle you are protected. Before you go to bed, he will always tell you fables even if you are too big for them, but he knows a lot of them so he could tell you about his adventures and life, too, if you don’t want to hear children’s stories. Then, Asgore is a good chef and maybe you could have the need to go on diet because the meals he prepares are too exaggerated and big that they seem Christmas dinners and you had to buy bigger clothing since you ate too much! He is just like those grandmothers who say to their grandsons “You do look a bit peaked!”, “Have you eaten?”, “Are you hungry?” every second of your day and maybe you would get tired but try to forgive him and his grandmother‘s attitudes.  At the end, we can say Asgore is the best father you could aspire despite his little flaws like his over protective behaviours and sometime he worries so much but when you demonstrate to him you are strong enough to protect yourself  and you are not like a little harmless baby, he will respect your courage, giving you more space. Ah, the poor man will need a lot of patience when you become a teenager since we know very well how them can be difficult and problematic. Every one of them is, but he will handle you even in the hardest times.
