So this has been decaying as a wip in my folder for awhile and I decided to finish it. I had to wonder if the wolf queen quest in skyrim could have been better. I think she would have made a great powerful enemy for a long plot and it would have been curious how the rest of the world of Tamiel would have reacted to her return because she would have a legit claim for the throne. Anyway... Baron is currently being put through the ringer cause I wanna write this lil quest in my own way.

Finally went around drawing a basic reference for my Dovahkiin OC that i've been hyperfixating on since May.

Her name is Duck (as in the Ugly Duckling), an amnesic Snow Elf who doesn't know she's a Snow Elf, thinking instead she's a funky looking Altmer. She also doesn't know she's the failed Flesh Magic resurrection reincarnation of the Snow Prince, who was also actually a woman in disguise the whole time.

A naïve yet innocent woman who is unprepared for the brutality of life in Skyrim...

Brosmýr the Axe and Teft'ni the Dovahkiin

While playing Skyrim as one of my Strawberry Gumshoe characters, I realized that coming up with an AU for them sounded just as fun as writing the OG story. So here's Strawberry Gumshoe's Skyrim AU.

While being hauled to Helgen as prisoners, Brosmýr and Teft'ni strike up a simple conversation. Brosmýr, the quiet, brutish Nord and Telft'ni the happy go lucky Dark Elf.

After Alduin attacks Helgen and they escape by the skin of their teeth, they begin to travel together. Brosmýr with his strength and cunning in battle, and Teft'ni with her magic (and ability to swindle anyone under the table). After their first battle with a dragon near Whiterun, Teft'ni is confirmed to be the Dragonborn, destined to save the word, or some such. Much to her dismay.

And Brosmýr, while a self admitted loner, begins to have a fondness for this tiny Dark Elf. So, while saying he plans on leaving Skyrim for a new chance at life, promises to be Teft'ni's axe until she becomes a better sorceress, and is able to kill a dragon all on her own.

And thus, their adventure truly begins.

Brief storytime, I failed to keep Lydia alive with in the first.. Couple hours of becoming her thane during my first run as Baron. And it was at the Valtheim towers kind of the FIRST bandits you could come across and clear out. Well.. Lydia fell. And did not hit the water she hit the ground and that is when I found out these companions do not get back up. SO now that I am developing Baron, I realized how.. Traumatizing that might have been? First person to be along on this quest and he would feel better like “Oh I won’t be alone now to carry this burden of being a dragon hero whatever.” THEN not even a day she dies. And now you gotta live with that Baron.
