I feel like Ali could play way better if she wasn’t constantly compensating for other players. Like I just want to see Ali play without mccall so that we can see how Ali plays with another midfielder that plays their position properly lol

Definitely, though I feel like she's constantly had to do that, especially at the club level and on the Pride with the defense they've always had lol but I want to see her in the midfield without Zerboni too. I just really want to see her do her thing and play her game with her vision because she knows the game so well (she's going to be such a great coach) but i feel like first Scott was holding her back and now Zerboni probably is too but Ali & Kristie especially playing together in the middle has serious potential and I think adding Victoria Pickett is good too. Because Mewis & Pickett are two good offensive mids and Ali would be the great defensive piece with them but I don't think it's going to happen :/
