Where Miss Heed Struggled In Evil Science Until She Got Help From Flug She Exceeded In Lying Classes

"Cecilia was never very apt at evil science, I remember asking her several times why she was taking that class, but she would just tell me that she wanted to be able to develop something special that would make the world see that she was special too. Somehow she managed to inspire me and that’s when I started to personally teach her everything I knew about evil science. I remember it was hard to get her to concentrate, she was a very lazy student and easily angered when things didn’t go right the first time, but after a lot of effort I taught her enough so that she could become the second best in the class.”

It's been emphasized that Miss Heed was never good at Evil Science due to being a lazy student and threw tantrums when things didn't go her way. It would take tutoring from Flug to make her become the second best in class.

However, just because she was a poor student in that subject doesn't mean she had to be failure in other classes. I can imagine she was actually good at some subject matter. One of which is being a good liar which actually does seems to be a trait that the Black Hat Organization values.

The villains' manual itself has a section all about focusing on being good liars. It's a trait probably a lot of villains value and Miss Heed totally exceeds at so I can imagine it was one of her favorite classes because she actually was good at it and her teachers actually give positive attention for this trait. As a result, she was happy she could get any sort of praise she could get since she was an outcast in the Academy.

They even have a criminal expert who is all about showing how deceive people named Joe Tiplaggio. Just imagine if he was also a professor at the Black Hat Institute where he could have shown tons of techniques to his students including Miss Heed who could have taken his lessons to heart and use them when trying to masquerade as a righteous hero while in private being an absolute brat to everyone.

I mean she used her skills as a liar to obviously deceive Flug into believing he was her friend and get to his thesis so she could use it for her own purposes. So I can imagine she already was on her way to being a great lying little rat who is willing to use anyone to get attention at all cost.

In her hero life, she really uses the power of deception to keep up her image to this day. She obviously used things like this in her instagram account to put up a false image like acting like she's her own community manager and she's a kind person, when in reality Anana Pina does all the heavy lifting and she really cares more about the perks of heroism while brainwashing villains, heroes, and even civilians to be her servants. Skills valued in a villain could also be used for a corrupt hero to use.

And probably the biggest whomper which is with the help her father, actual community manager, and even the news the lie that she was framed and that it was actually the villains behind her actions. And it will probably be followed by her book which would even further try to frame her as a victim and throw a couple of villains like probably Flug under the bus to get her reputation back. And the irony of this all of this would make her a magnificent villain if she actually tried being one instead of pretending to be the hero she's not.

Miss Heed And Dark Phantom Are More Similar Than I Think

On the surface, it would be crazy to think they would have anything in common until you examine them up close.

For one thing they both come from wealth and have nepo baby written all over them, which influences how they are as people. Due to their backgrounds they tend to be very spoiled and immature for their age. It's evident their privileged lifestyles has coddled them from real hardship. However, I do think one major difference is that Miss Heed is a case of spoiled brat who pretends to be nice while Dark Phantom is a case of spoiled sweet despite being a villain.

Despite in the present being a popular heroine under scrutiny, she like Dark Phantom was disdained among her peers. For Dark Phantom, it's usually due to him screwing things up and her it was because she was really obnoxious. As a result, both of them were/are considered outcasts among villains. This outcast status caused her to decide to switch sides to become more popular and get the attention she craved while Dark Phantom sticks to the villain side due to legacy and probably the thought never crossed his mind.

Also another thing I noticed between the two is the fact that both are very reliant on others to fight their own battles and barely have any fighting skills. This is especially true for Miss Heed who often tries to pretend on social media she is a physical fighter but in reality she uses her cronies to do the heavy lifting for her.

Dark Phantom and her also seems to overcompensate for their lack of natural talent like with Dark Phantom bragging about his legacy despite being an abysmal villain on his own while she outright lies and steals credit from others while passing it off as her work. Unlike Dark Phantom who doesn't hide his incompetence, she does everything she can to make her appear to be this mary sue type of villain who can win any battle and villain hearts while also being a beloved person part of the hero community.

What makes them differ is again how well they also treat their close friends. Despite being a proclaimed heroine, she in the past stole from her supposed friend Flug to become help her as a heroine. This is in contrast with Dark Phantom who didn't think much helping a friend out when she was a fugitive and on the run from that aforementioned Heed. Because as much as a villain he tries to live up to, he does have more moral traits than Heed does who uses the cover of a heroine to act shitty and have her actions be misconstrued as noble.

Ultimately I think both Dark Phantom and Miss Heed are kind of sort of two sides of the same coin. Dark Phantom is what would happen if that nepo baby still tried the villain path despite his lack of talent while Miss Heed is an example of forgoing the path to become a fake heroine while still having villainous traits. It does make them unintentional foils for each other and how in an AU both could have switched roles.

Which Scientist Do You Want To Work Or Do A Project With?

A Possibly Cruel Aspect Of Miss Heed's Spell (Being Forced To Attack Your Own Loved Ones And Then Waking Up Realizing What You Have Done To Them In The Name Of Heed's Cause)

Seriously, it's already messed up they would be forced to attacked their loved ones, but also the fact that they could snap out of her spell and realize it after the fact is just as cruel. She probably wouldn't risk them attacking loved ones if she saw the effect of what happened. However, I do think if she was cruel enough and was willing to sacrifice a follower she would set them on a loved one and then come to see them wake up and cry about what they have done. But again since girl is obsessed with her followers she wouldn't want to lose even a single one even if it could be used in the name of cruelty.

I just had this imagine for my Oc and her mentor and his archnemesis/her future boyfriend. Even though she doesn't confront them at Cosmopolis, I do imagine if she did she would have to be up against her mentor. And I can imagine she would try to hold him off but she ends up being beat up by him due to his super strength and it ends up with him probably snapping out of his hypnosis after realizing he hurt his former sidekick. And this is before she and Coyote ever got into a relationship so him hurting her wouldn't do anything. If they had been in a relationship at that point he would have snapped out of it too. But I could see Omega being unbrainwashed holding him off until he sees the Heed broadcast and snaps out of it. Causing him to decide to go after Heed and Omega and Green Rod follows because they too would have a bone to pick with her.

Villainous And Super Science

Since super science is a crucial thing in Venture Bros, I was wondering maybe super science would be a thing in Villainous. The scientists we've seen so far in Villainous seem to dapple in fields of super science.

I do think in this universe super science seems have different disciplines like with bioehchancments with Dr. Rapture and Metauro. In order to help Sunblast get big again, Penumbra had to study bioechanments. Her field seemed to be fantastic machinery that dabbles in other fields of science. It probably wouldn't be an issue for her since she was a genius prodigy due to entering university at the age of 15. So, she's kind of a more realistic version of someone who is a master scientist who dabbles in other fields.

Flug in my opinion is someone who is probably the master in different fields of super science due to the fact he dabbles in so much shit for the company from robots to formulas to whatever he can think of. He probably is a omnidisciplinary version of a super science scientist and probably it's for that reason he was made head scientist due to his talent.

For my oc, Mecha Max, her biggest speciality is technology but again due to how much of a super genius she is she dabbles in many fields with no issues. She is compared to Flug for a reason and her skill in science has been an asset to PEACE for years which they first saw they minute they found her in foster care. I also think she would dabble in magic as a science since it really seemed to tie with scientific principles and as a result thinks it should be a category of it's own.

Mecha Max/Purple Hat Infiltrates The Mad Scientist World

Mecha Max has a history of infiltrating the Mad scientist get togethers since she's that thirsty for knowledge that is willing to be among villains to do so. She also did this when she was Purple Hat unknown to Black Hat. She would pretend to be a villain and infiltrate the events. This fascination continued into her reincarnated form. As a hero, she loves to see the mad science world and how she could reuse it for her own purposes. I like to think when she finds out she's Purple Hat she can openly more attend these but as a neutral party since again as a purple hat she would be interested in seeing what new stuff the villain is cooking.

She Wakes Up To Her Mind Prison In The Worst Possible Way

Gosh, what a heartbreaking chapter to leave us on before the finale. This woman has been through so much in her life that seeing the two people she cares about the most in that state could break her. If it wasn’t for that last post in her instagram we wouldn’t know that things would come out alright, but still Penumbra is just one big woobie.

Dr. Mauser Jr To The Rescue (For Curie Not Sunblast)

Well, look it here Doctor Mauser Jr, an uplifted talking mouse is here to help. Also he has a thing for Curie who although is a very smart mouse isn’t as uplifted as him and seems to be confused by his affections. And again he really isn’t fond of Sunblast. 

He actually can be seen in Penumbra’s Instagram page where he had interactions with Curie and Sunblast before. He also appeared in the Mad Scientist expo as a participant. So, yeah, his presence was very foreshadowed around. 

Also it looks like he will take the blame for the house break since Miss Heed on her Q & A said he was behind the break in of her house.
