This Take Is Hilarious Because It's Obvious She's Of The Ends Justifies The Means Mentality

The thing is with Black Hat it's obvious that he's evil and that we aren't supposed to see him as good. However, with Goldheart he's supposed to be a hero and yet does questionable things in the name of justice. I mean it's one thing to be evil and proud of it, but it's another to be oblivious to how evil you are and still call yourself a hero. It's not heroes are the bad guys it's that heroes shouldn't stoop to equally evil levels then play it off as no big deal.

Seriously, I doubt they will just stop at stripping bad guy's free will when you remember that Miss Heed brainwashed all heroes, villains, and civilians. Everyone is capable of evil so I imagine in the name of the greater good that Goldheart will strip even more heroic people of that. And again thais a terrifying thing to downplay. Again the point is Black Hat is always going to be seen as an sympathetic evil while his supporting minions will have more grey edges to them but still be villains at heart which a lot of material emphasizes.

Again this post is coming from someone who so-called praises Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss for so-called deep grey writing when it's really moral inversion and centers on protagonist centered morality. It's funny she said this while saying that show by Vivziepoop has nuance. Seriously, I would say brainwashing people is evil and not just morally grey. Because in what sane world is brainwashing people to simp over you grey. The point of the matter is that in the Villainous universe evil is not only found with villains but also with heroes. And that heroes can become easily corrupted by a system meant to exploit the concept of justice.
