The colours are mainly what reminds me of dragons (red and gold, iridescent scales) so if this looks like another flag I’m sorry! That’s why there’s two flags, the rainbow one and the red and gold one!

I’ve never heard a term for this exeperience around before so I decided to make one, mainly for my friend to use! If this is a term that already exists, I’m sorry!

I designed the flag to A) resemble the colors of fire and B) be easy-to-make as a banner in Minecraft. Don't worry; each color has a meaning!

Upper Red - Physical Strength

This can range from being able to lift heavy things to having a strong immune system. It isn't reserved just for bodybuilders or strong people.

Upper Orange - Determination

This can be a large range of things; whether you're determined to spite those who are against you, or you're determined to finish that fanfic you've been working on.

White - Accepting Ourselves and Others

The whole community is about acceptance, right?

Lower Orange - Creativity

This can span a large number of things. Whether you're a good cook, or you're good at building in Minecraft, this part covers you.

Lower Red - Intellectual Strength

Whether it be your intelligence, your mental readiness, or your ability to help others with minimal mental or emotional exhaustion; you're human and therefore this includes you.

What is Drakogender?

Drakogender is a gender identity, typically with the use of gender neutral pronouns. If you feel a special connection to - or your gender reminds you of - Dragons, Wyverns, and other Drakonic or Reptilian creatures, then this xenogender might just be the thing for you. The flag has two red stripes, two orange stripes, and one white stripe; the flag is designed in the colors of fire, and each stripe represents something different. (Physical Strength, Determination, Accepting Ourselves and Others, Creativity, and Intellectual Strength.)

Don’t get me wrong — I love making flags, y’know? For a young colourblind person, seeing people like my flags is a dream come true sometimes — but I also realised something that can make people, well, not like my flags, which isn’t what I want.

Dumber, younger me’s actions.

I was a dumb, angry and traumatised teen not knowing how to… act? And while people may have hurt me, me hurting them back wasn’t any better. I was problematic, even harmful, and like… that was fucked of me. And to anyone reading this who feels they deserve an apology from me, I’m sorry.

I did mess up, a lot, but me being traumatised or ND or whatever doesn’t excuse the fact that I have fucked up.

I need a break to really like… decide where I wanna be in life, y’know? I’m a legal adult now and I need to make up for past mistakes, and that’s why this post exists. I think being called problematic really opened my eyes. Use my flags, don’t use my flags — honestly it’s all the same to me, I just hope they help a few people who really connect with them.

(Ps, the reason this is in the drakogender and luaingender tags is because as the creator of those terms, I want people to know that the creator is trying to change, for the better, so in case anyone was afraid to use those terms, I’m sorry, and keep being authentically you)

I am most definitely human in a physical manner, yes.

I wanted a gender that is unique, and I like dragons - like, a lot. Dragons are epic. So cool.

I don't identify as a dragon, but I do feel that dragons - specifically, D&D dragons - relate to me a lot - intelligent, powerful, hard to beat, etc.

I feel like, if I were a fantasy creature, I'd be a Dragon, or one of it's relatives. (Drakes, Wyverns, Dragonborn, etc)

I guess I'm trying to say that I have the heart and soul of a dragon, but the body of... just a random dude.

I guess that it's this way because dragons aren't real. But if they were, I'd have a far different life than I do.
