Warrior of the day: Thunderstar (Thunder)

Honestly, I'm not sure what to put for these intros. It's Thunder, the most Guy ever. He's such a guy. Much guyness.

Name: Þór Rauðskeggur; inn stormr (Thor Redbeard, Thor the Storm)

Description: Thunder has a muscular, sturdy frame with broad shoulders, a strong gut, large hands and massive feet, and a rectangular-shaped face. He has hairy, pale skin with cool undertones, faint freckles, and a scar on his left cheek. He has long, sleek, waist-length, bright red hair the color of autumn leaves that lightens to white at the fringe. He has almond-shaped, clear, bright amber eyes.

Headcanons: 

So Thunder is known for having big meaty paws but the real question is how big? Using today’s standards he would be a size 15 US or a 48 European. I…I had to google such things as “what is a large foot size for men”. My search history is ruined. The sacrifices I make for this project (I am the Dramatic Dmitry meme). 

Thunderstar is built like a powerlifter. My main inspiration was, ironically, Thor from God of War; Ragnarok. He’s incredibly strong and powerful, but in a realistic way.

He died 1044 A.D., as the second to last of the Founders to pass away. The first death was Shadowstar, then Skystar, then Riverstar, then Thunderstar, and finally Windstar. 

He was born on the Winter Solstice.

Each of the followers of the Sun Trail all represent a Futhark rune in this AU, as some fun symbolism tied to their heritage as ancient Nordic peoples and to incorporate Norse culture into their stories. With Thunder, he represents the Futhark rune Sowilo. To briefly summarize, Sowilo is a rune of guidance, setting goals, and success. It is sunlight, fire, meeting of goals, confidence, and taking action. It divines guidance, hope, success, goals, honor, life purposes, but also false goals, bad advice, fake success, gullibility, and loss of goals. It governs victory and success through individual will, with the ultimate goal being enlightenment. Thunder’s journey could be seen as creating one’s own success and fulfilling their life purpose.

[Author’s Note: I am painfully, painfully aware of the appropriation of Norse culture for white supremacy movements and I want to be very firm that this blog condemns such groups and organizations. Use of the Futhark runes is used for people who would have been born in the 10th century when said runes were in use. I would not apply the same symbolism to modern day Clan society, where the same historical context is not there.]

What's the most important lesson you've learned as a content creator?

I can’t-

I am neither offended nor is this meme intended do make fun of you in either way, it’s just…I‘m not? A content creator? At all?? I‘m just a random stranger spouting nonsense on their personal blog they have for fun, not some influencer "creating content“ with the purpose of being consumed by an audience.

If people happen to come across here and like the vibes, that’s great! But the closest thing to actual "content“ I’ve got would be the art blog, and even then it’s primarily just a place to dump stuff I‘ve drawn so I can get some phone/tablet space back and it’s safe in case my device‘s battery dies on me, not "content“ "created“ to be consumed,

And tbh its low key a bit telling of the current hyper-commercialization of both the internet and people‘s very existence that even a personal blog would be viewed as what is essentially, not a person having fun online, but a product.
