F   :   FLIRT.   is your muse good at flirting? how do they flirt? I would say, he’s very good at flirting. Though there is no definite way HOW he does it, because that depends very much on the person he’s going to flirt with. So the first step is observasion, to figure out what the best approach would be and then find the right balance of wits, humour, serious, sexy and whatever else might be required. Oh, and most importantly, yes, of course he aims to get the other person to have sex with him, but never ever goes in with the expectation to get it, so it’s also cool with him if it just ends up being flirting for flirting’s sake, because in his opinion desperation always oozes and is one of the biggest turn-offs especially a man can display.

S   :   SWEETHEART.   did your muse have a childhood sweetheart? Eeehhh.... no.

T   :   TRUE LOVE.   does your muse believe in true love? Hmmmm... I guess? Maybe? It‘s not really something that occupies his mind. Like, if it does, cool. If it doesn’t, who cares? Not him. He does not think about things like that. At all.

U   :   UNREQUITED.   has your muse had their heart broken? I really had to think about that a while, and came to the conclusion, that the answer is no. Not really. Not deeply. He’s too much of a “brainy” person for that and most of the time operates on logic and rational thought, because honestly, when he’s emotionally involved and his feelings get the best of him, it’s usually others that get hurt and broken in one way or another. (now, if we’d ask if his ego ever got hurt, that’s a whole other story and the short answer is yes, very.)

X   :   XOXO.   does your muse use / like pet names? He’s definitely more inclined using pet names than being given pet names. He’s really not too fond of that, though does at least tolerate it most of the times unless it’s one he really doesn’t like either for himself or as a pet name in general, because to him it’s dumb and/or ridiculous.

I    :   I LOVE YOU.   does your muse find ‘i love you’ easy or hard to say? While he’s eloquent, he’s unfortunately also a dumbass when it comes to lovey dovey stuff, so no. Or, to put it more nicely, his love language just isn’t verbal.

K   :   KISS.   is your muse a good kisser? why / why not?  Leaning towards no here, simply because he’s not that experienced with kissing. Yes, he was with a few women before he was married, bad that was on a payment base of some sort, so as long as he didn’t bite their face off, they would not necessarily tell him if and what he could do better. Like, he wasn’t not god-awful, but probably also not swaying anyone off their feet with his skills. He did learn a few things when he got married, but that’s entirely accustomed to what his wife likes and still might not impress anyone else. So, yay-nay?

N   :   NAUGHTY.   what is your muse like in bed? Pretty vanilla in a sense that he doesn’t really want anything super kinky. Somewhat gentle, somewhat aggressive? Idk how to describe what I have in mind… like, greedy, in a way that definitely makes you feel adored and very much desired, but not in a rough way? Pushy, as in he wants you and he wants you now, but still attentive and considerate. Certainly determined to get what he wants and be satisfied, but equally watching out, that his partner gets the same. (defo better at sex than kissing, lol)

1. What NPC (from any Sims game) would you like to see to make a comeback? I used to have a soft spot for Thornton Wolff from the sims 3 basegame, my sim would always end up having an affair with him, stealing him away from Morgana. Only to later have him cheat with my sim with Jamie Jolina.

🩸 - Does your OC believe in blood being thicker than water? (meaning family relationships and loyalties are the most important) Absolutely, positively yes. It’s one thing how family members deal with each other, but no outsider gets to say or do anything against the family.

✂️ - What kind of thing would have your OC cut someone out of their life? How likely are they to let someone back in? He will actually put up with a lot, so to cut anyone out of his life, they would have to do something really awful. Really, reeaaallyyy awful. And obviously, if someone is capable to do something as awful as to truly, really upset him, there’s no going back. Some things are just taking it too far. Like killing a puppy and enjoying it. (insert John Wick meme here?)

🎭 - Does your OC show different sides of themselves to different people? To some degree, I guess… if a situation requires it, or he’s given reason to (for example insulting any family member, or hurting puppies), but most of the time I’d say, he’s pretty much himself.

🩺 - Does your OC accept help easily? Are they willing to admit when they need help? Sure, no problem. That’s what other people are for, right? Different people come with different knowledge and skills, so to him it’s natural to ask for and accept help and do the same for others.

💡 - How does your OC enact plans? Do they plan down to the smallest details, or do the wing it? He loosely makes plans for long term goals, but other than that, most of the time just rolls with it. According to him, that’s what makes life interesting.

🌋 - What’s your OCs temper like? Are they a slow boil, or an instant explosion? Actually, I have to say instant explosion. It’s not easy to get him there, usually he’s pretty based and patient. There’s just a few things, he has zero tolerance for, so it’s immediate rage, 0 to 100 in 0.1 seconds.

⏰ - What is your OC like at timekeeping? Are they punctual, or always running late? He tends to be fashionably late most of the time.

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts? Definitely expensive high quality gifts, that only serve the purpose of being beautiful. If you want something practical, you gotta ask someone else, because that hurts his soul... unless maybe it’s also somehow pretty.

📎 - How organised is your OC? Do they keep on top of responsibilities, or leave things to the last minute? What he lacks in punctuality, he makes up with organization.

🧸 - On a scale of 1 - 10, how ‘soft’ is your OC? 1 being the edgiest of edges and 10 being a literal teddy bear that cries at everything? (Bonus questions, where on the scale would your OC place themselves, and where would they like to be on the scale?) He’s getting close, but not entirely teddy bear mode, in terms that he doesn’t cry easily, but he is a big softy and fine with it. So maybe 7? 8? (He sees himself in that range as well)

💬 - Is your OC much of a talker? Do they only speak when spoken to? (Or not even then?) Do they ever talk over others? Talking and being good at it, is kind of his supernatural power, sooo… I mean, yeah, he’s not going to talk you to death, but he does enjoy a good conversation, and will definitely look for it.

🌅 - What is your OCs favourite time of day? Are they a morning person or a night owl? Neither one or the other. To him it’s not as relevant WHEN something is happening, rather than WHAT is happening. So, any time of the day can be a good time, as long as it’s time well spent.

🥦 - Does your OC eat healthily or live off junk food? Like with most supernaturals in their universe, technically it doesn’t make a difference, so food choices are always a mental feelgood thing, which for him is mostly a vegetarian healthy diet, with the ocassional slice of cake.

🍹 - Does your OC drink? If so, what’s their drink of choice? He’s mostly a cocktail drinker, not too picky about it, as long as it’s not bitter.

🍺 - What kind of drunk are they? (e.g. talkative, sleepy, flirty etc.) Rule of no effect applies, but hypothetically, he’d likely be a flirty drunk.

✂️ - What kind of thing would have your OC cut someone out of their life? How likely are they to let someone back in? If people stay or go is a matter of compatibility for him. A few examples he considers himself incompatible with: People who can’t mind their own business and anyone who is all over his business. People who are highly emotional and “care too much”. And selfishness that is sold off as “caring”. People who lie to themselves and try to sell him their lies as well. When he gets the impression people are taking him for a fool. There’s certainly more and he’s well aware, that he adds his own amount of bullshit but is willing to change his behavior, if the other person does, too. He will discuss and argue about these things maybe once or twice, but if he doesn’t see significant change in the relationship, it’s goodbye. No return – he’s too petty for that. (like, soooo petty. Yikes.)

🎭 - Does your OC show different sides of themselves to different people? He actually shows very little of himself to most people, no sides, no facets. He’ll be whoever he needs to be, depending on what he wants from the other person. The less superficial a relationship of any kind gets, the more he will put off layers and bit by bit show more of himself.

🩺 - Does your OC accept help easily? Are they willing to admit when they need help? He usually doesn’t need help, and in most cases associates people helping with people creating more problems. IF he needs help, he will ask. And he will ask that one particular person that is actually competent to do exactly what he requires. No more, no less. But good intentions? Hell to the no. Stay far away from him with that. (Or as he would put it: “The road to hell is paved with good intentions”)

💡 - How does your OC enact plans? Do they plan down to the smallest details, or do the wing it? Something in between, depending on the situation. In general he might have an overall plan to achieve a long-term goal, but single steps can and will be improvised. To him it’s most important not to do things entirely clueless and rather have as much information as possible on the task at hand.

🌋 - What’s your OCs temper like? Are they a slow boil, or an instant explosion? I’m indecisive here… There are some things that probably make him instant explode, and other things are more on the slow boil level. And then things he’s pretty tolerant towards around the first time even if they upset him in some way and he’ll try to communicate the hows and whys, but if the same thing is repeated over and over again, he goes from tolerant to short fused eventually, so that’s kind of layered with slow boil, but not exactly slow boil?

⏰ - What is your OC like at timekeeping? Are they punctual, or always running late? If an appointment at a specific time has been made, he’s punctual. Because manners.

Very organized, though that’s mostly owed to the fact, that his mind is very chaotic and loud, and keeping outside things organized and in order gives him a sense of control and helps him keeping his inside balanced and himself in check.

He’s hard-bitten and rational mostly, but has his genuine soft moments. For the bonus question: He’d likely see himself on a 4, too - his self-preception is usually pretty accurate.

💬 - Is your OC much of a talker? Do they only speak when spoken to? (Or not even then?) Do they ever talk over others? Oh, difficult… sometimes he’s quite chatty, because he likes to hear himself talk. Other times he likes people approaching him, just so he can ignore them. More often than not, he prefers everyone (including himself) to not talk at all. Any attempt of a conversation with him, will be a lot more successful, if his vanity is taken into consideration and used in a smart, but not too obvious way.

🌅 - What is your OCs favourite time of day? Are they a morning person or a night owl? Absolute night owl. Evidently, it’s a lot easier to do shady stuff… you know how a lot of people are afraid of the dark, but really it’s not the dark they’re afraid of, but the things that could be hiding in it – he’s one of those things. (oh god, why is everyone an edge lord?)

🥦 - Does your OC eat healthily or live off junk food? I really have a bit of trouble to answer this question… if your food source is either souls or blood, what exactly counts for healthy food and what would junk food be? He can eat “normal people” food, but that would solely be for pleasure reasons and it has zero effect on him in any way. That being said, he really likes Ice Cream.

🍹 - Does your OC drink? If so, what’s their drink of choice? He likes red wine for the taste, preferably a sweet and fruity type. 🍺 - What kind of drunk are they? (e.g. talkative, sleepy, flirty etc.) Same as with any “normal people” food – it has no effect on him, so he doesn’t get drunk.

Based on his life experience so far, in the end only his family is truly there for him and understands him and he tries to return the favor, if he can.

✂️ - What kind of thing would have your OC cut someone out of their life? How likely are they to let someone back in? Honestly? Nothing. He’ll take everything. Which definitely makes him just another case of “someone else has to force on him what’s good for him” and that should clearly be someone who genuinely has HIS best interest in mind. Which is usually his dad (Asmo) and to some extend the rest of the family, and very few selected people, but Asmo always has the last word.

He’s a bit shy to talk to others, especially if he doesn’t know them (well), or feels uncomfortable around them. He’s quite chatty though, if he’s around people he likes and knows well, though if his dad is around, he prefers to let him do the talking on his behalf.

I’m cheating a bit, because technically I don’t answer the question for Hostilian, but the person behind that role.

🩸 - Does your OC believe in blood being thicker than water? (meaning family relationships and loyalties are the most important) He’d probably go with the same sentiment as Karamazov, stating that the term is actually speaking of the Blood of the Coven and the Water of the Womb. However, in his case that might be related to the fact, that he never experienced a family structure of blood relatives. The only concept he has of a family, is the Syndicate and to some degree also the Inquisition.

✂️ - What kind of thing would have your OC cut someone out of their life? How likely are they to let someone back in? He rarely lets anyone get that close to begin with.

🎭 - Does your OC show different sides of themselves to different people? That is basically his job description as a Syndicate Spy. The Inquisitor is a role, The Mistress is a role, The Advisor is a role, etc… he sticks to the motto, that every lie should be as close as possible to the truth, so while each of his roles contain a fragment of his personality, no one ever gets the full picture. It’s safe to say, that probably even The Syndicate Spy is just another role. Yes, he sometimes loses his sense of self, especially if he has to do a lot of role-hopping in a short time span, or if he’s in the same role uninterrupted for a longer time. Serious love interests are most likely to see him for who he actually is, when trust has been built.

Part 3 of @dreamilysillybanana​‘s request. With an addition, that wasn’t requested, but I was actually curious to see, how they complement each other, and where they differ.

(meaning family relationships and loyalties are the most important) Juliette worked hard to build up a family like that and teach her children to accept that same mindset for themselves, which was fruitful in most but not all cases. Adel didn’t really have a concept about family, before he married Juliette, and it was a learning progress for him, that wasn’t always so great for both of them.

✂️ - What kind of thing would have your OC cut someone out of their life? How likely are they to let someone back in? Juliette is pretty intolerant towards people who refuse to learn, even after they’ve been educated about an issue. Examples would be repeated micro aggressions (don’t necessarily have to be directed at her), or passive aggressive behavior. She’s not very likely to let someone back in. For Adel I would say, betrayal is an instant nope to the fuck no GTFO, but it still kind of depends if there is something that equals out the atrocity. For example, when his wife cheated on him with his best friend, which would most certainly count for betrayal from both sides in his book, but he had to admit to himself, that he also played his part for things to turn out like that and in the end valued both his marriage and his friendship higher.

🎭 - Does your OC show different sides of themselves to different people? Juliette, yes. Her husband aside, no one ever gets to know her in her entirety as a person. She’s different as a mother, she’s different as a friend, she’s different as a host, etc… In sum, she displays a specific behavior and part of her personality, she considers appropriate for the circumstances. Adel is pretty much the same in that regard and thinks that some people just aren’t in the position to get to know him in more than one specific way. Only his wife and his best friend know him thoroughly as the person he is.

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts? I’d say they are both pretty thoughtful gift-givers (as I mentioned in an earlier ask, I think thoughtful gifts can include practical gifts, depending on what the giftee likes to receive).

📎 - How organized is your OC? Do they keep on top of responsibilities, or leave things to the last minute? Juliette can be organized, if she has to be, but in general it’s not a priority for her, if it’s not absolutely necessary. It should be taken into consideration, that their household in general is very structured in terms of responsibilities. There are things that Adel (being the breadwinner) takes care of, like finances and paperwork, so Juliette takes on tasks he doesn’t want to be bothered with (or at least being the last person to get involved), which for example includes hiring and organizing staff and pretty much everything that concerns their children. Smaller issues she leaves to the housekeeping staff. Adel has a greater desire for organization and structure, so everything mentioned previously, is mostly due to him and his needs. He tends to be pedantic, and hardly even tolerates when the housekeepers want to put his cleaned clothes back into the wardrobe, because they might do it wrong. So either he does it himself, or sometimes leaves it to his wife (who btw. doesn’t care at all about the order of clothes in her own wardrobe). 🧸 - On a scale of 1 - 10, how ‘soft’ is your OC? 1 being the edgiest of edges and 10 being a literal teddy bear that cries at everything? While Juliette has a very soft core, she can be pretty cold nonetheless, so I have to put her in the middle and place her between a 5 and a 6. She herself probably would see herself on a 7 and would prefer to be on a 4. Adel is a solid 3, since he has a soft side at least for some people. That’s also pretty much where he would see himself and where he wants to be. 💬 - Is your OC much of a talker? Do they only speak when spoken to? (Or not even then?) Do they ever talk over others? They are both not the chattiest people, tough Juliette probably still enjoys it more than Adel and she’s usually great at conversations. Adel is more likely just to speak if necessary and doesn’t appreciate it much when people try to chat him up (not that it happens a lot, anyway). Exceptions are a few selected people, such as his closest friends and his wife. They don’t necessarily need to talk much to each other, but they still have those moments where you just talk until late into the night about everything and anything, having light hearted as well as deep conversations.

In that case, I have, indeed, done this one time. It was a very conscious and deliberate decision, choosing the lesser harm over the greater harm. People like me cannot afford to have relations with other people who are not of the same kind. It will only turn them into targets for people who want to get to people like me, but can’t. So they will just take the next best thing. More generally spoken, my work likely causes heartbreak in one way or another. I do not concern myself with more elaborate thought about it, however.

9. One of your close friends has just confessed they like you. What do you do?Vernat: That… happened. I do not and did not see myself in a position to do something about it. Come clear with my feelings, whether they are mutual or not, and offer my friendship nonetheless. The rest is and was for the other person to decide and take action accordingly.
