Summary:
“Idiot,” Dregg tells her. “You’re going to get suspended for a week.”
There is no apprehension on Tira’s face.
“Worth it,” she says simply. “I always wanted to knock out his teeth.”
It’s a novel thing for Dregg, having… friends.

Decided to doodle a Dregg as a warm up, since I never drew him XD If you don’t know the Medieval Cop games, go play them! They’re great!

My contribution to the Medieval Series fandom! If it exists.
It also pretty much sums my reactions at the different Dreggs.

He winced. Despite not being able to see the dimensional technique, it was painful to watch, perhaps partly because Eva was the same age as Amber…
…but who was Amber?

So I finished Flawed Justice. I'm glad this one, same as the previous, is just solving a murder. Love the ending scene, I'm not one for relationship drama but this one was perfect - there is indeed a huge difference between Ada and Dregg and no wonder it's becoming a wedge between them.
Also nice that Dregg has a new apprentice to torture and turn insane :p.
I'm wondering about Ada's state though. I thought she was in a struggle with her other half and unwilling to accept Dregg, did I miss that changing?
(spoilers for all of S2)
God, seven episodes in and Season 2 has so many threads... Dregg and Ada's relation, the different timelines having to be merged, Sigh, the Void cult, the time-travel, Narada, Dregg's grandmother... I'm curious how it'll all be tied up. The ending teaser in MM1 implies Dregg did indeed choose the universe over Ada...

Medieval Cop Theory
Chronicles 5: The Paradox is actually a tale from the Heartless timeline.
Explanation:
Near the end of the game, Dregg tells the girl that he "crossed his own line" when he was 10. However the Dregg of the original timeline never saw the ghosts or killed Evelyn (MC S2E1)... or did anything extreme when he was 10... so he can't be the one saying this. Of the other timelines where Dregg killed Evelyn, Dreggerina is the only cop we know and she's definitely not the one in this game. That leaves the one timeline where Evelyn wasn't killed, but she did train Dregg as a killer... ie, Heartless' timeline. The line he talks about crossing is what Evelyn made him do.
Only issue is Amber's existence... Although even that could also be explained off as the answer to the question- how did Heartless know that the kid in S2E1 was his daughter when she was born after Psycho blasted him out of the timeline? :p

Finding an email notification for S2 E7 was definitely a highlight of today. I'm glad we get to see more of Dregg solving cases where the ghosts are involved, I've always thought of how his other investigations would have gone if he could have used that more. Also Debbie made me in appearance think of young Cayla and attitude of Tira, nice partner for Dregg in this case :p.

(spoilers for MM2)
(during MC10, when everyone is in the Room of Origin)
Postman: Hey, at least I can say I have a girlfriend.
Postman: …well, had.
Critic: Drove her away with your personality?
Dreggerina: She learnt you were a postman?
Postman: Uh, no. I learnt she was a serial killer, and so were her sisters, and her mother…
Everyone: what
Postman: And that mother's name? It was Evelyn Hollowheart.
Everyone: what

Finally got time to sit down and play Demented Heaven v1.0.1. I've rarely played 3D games and not to completion so I don't really have a frame of reference, but I found it easy enough to navigate. Art was neat. Bit weird that Dregg has black hair in this, makes him a full emo :p.
(read on for more detailed thoughts, as non-spoilery as I could make it)
Gameplay was alright for what there was. I liked the shadow puzzle, it gave a similar feel of MC's fire puzzles :p, and it was just a matter of patience and timing imo. Though I did get stuck because I came across the door and didn't realise we were supposed to interact with it, so I just kept walking around trying to find something else (and losing to the shadows and restarting at the altar), until at last I approached the door close enough to get the 'press E' prompt.
The 'increasing willpower' part I enjoyed for Dregg's thoughts (especially seeing him attempt the "yoga" XD). However, it felt boring to me that we could only do one thing per time period and so needed a total of eight days to get all the points. Actually two more than that for me, since I failed a session and had to regain willpower. Speaking of which, the sessions with Dr. Sigh did break the monotony, though not enough.
The reveal about Dregg's reason for being in the hospital hit me like a truck. It fits and doesn't fit him at the same time... Then again, in this world he seems to have had an ordinary life, while in the original he went through a ton of shit at age 10 then again in his late-teens (MChr Skybound), so understandably there's a difference in how they handle stuff.
Did not expect who was behind the door either, which in retrospect was dumb (we had hints), but the dialogue made me think it was some supernatural being :p.
Well, that person might still be some sort of devil, considering the ending...
Overall, very interested to see where this goes (as I am with every MC game :p) and hoping we get a steady balance of the usual MC games and this one.

Demented Heaven's trailer is finally out! It's so far a rehash of canon in 3D, but I'm interested in the AU possibilities of the game (I'd add "modern-day" to AU if canon wasn't already pretty modern-day :p).
Although... not sure how to feel about baby Dregg being left in what looks like a fully-zipped bag. Is that safe...?
