Here are some additional sketches of my characters for BTD2. I’m not done redesigning Poppy, but my friend @tooth-decay and I made joint lore with our characters so we’re feeling pretty nostalgic. Lore ramble below

The quick rundown is that Poppy is a lab grown, human sized, gremlin/duende. DrVox (bottom image) is an alien and Poppy’s maker, last of his species who temporarily stationed themselves on earth. Poppy is Vox’s personal project and assistant. As his work in progress, he tries his best to shape her into their image but she’s too strong willed and independent. Which frustrates him often. Then it’s back to the lab to fix the error, rinse and repeat. She suffers from amnesia because of these fixes and resets he does on her but they slowly come back to her over time. This eventually leads her to eventually flea him.

To put it bluntly: Democrats have virtually no control whatsoever over what rural & suburban whites (R&SW) hear. None. It doesn't *matter* what they say, what attitude they take, the tone they use, the message they craft. They have no way of reaching those R&SW directly.
