So I found this music survey on Wordpress. Thought it was pretty cool so yeah.

1. What are you listening to right now? I’m listening to Lovers by Anna of the North. She’s this badass electro-dreamy-pop artist from Norway. Check her out. Her album comes out in September.

2. What song(s) make(s) you sad? Damn, a lot. lol but I’d have to say off the top of my head, Laura by Phox, My Boy Builds Coffins by Florence & the Machine, Awayfromhere by No Ceremony///, and Holland by Novo Amor, and the entire albums of Don’t You by Wet, If You Leave by Daughter, and If You Wait by London Grammar.

3. What is the most annoying song in the world? That iSpy song that always comes on the radio but my boyfriend loves it. lol

4. Your all time favorite band? I think I have one from every genre. But I would have to say The Agonist, Paramore, Florence & the Machine, Land of Talk, and Hillsong. All pretty random. lol

5. Your newly discovered band is? Brother Sundance, Phoria, and Blood Orange.

6. Best female voice? Where do I begin? Patsy Cline, Lacey Mosley, Florence Welch, Bjork, Kate Bush, Nicole Milglis from Hundred Waters, Fiona from Woman’s Hour.

7. Best male voice? Eddy Arnold, Chester from Linkin Park, Ollie from The xx. Just to name a few.

8. Music type you find yourself listening to most? Electronic. But I’m slowly getting back into folk which I love.

9. What do you listen to, to hype you up? Electronic-pop stuff. lol and other stuff. Lately it’s been Grey, Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson, Khalid, Kiiara, and RuPauls Read U Wrote U and Category Is.

10. What do you listen to when you want to calm down? Mostly all my worship music like Hillsong and Bethel but also Priscilla Ahn, William Fitzsimmons, Novo Amor, Audrey Assad, JJ Heller, Steffany Gretzinger, Gregory & the Hawk, and a bunch of others.

11. Last gig/concert you went to? Hana & Purity Ring concert back in October.

12. Band you find yourself listening to the most right now? Billie Eilish.

13. Most hated band? I don’t really have one, just more like bands music I don’t like. lol I’ll have to think about it.

14. Song that makes you think? So many but definitely Shallows by Daughter.

15. Band that you think the world should love as much as you do? Kye Kye & Andrew Belle! Off the top of my head.

16. Coolest music video? Honestly love the video Florence did for Queen of Peace and the Big Picture video London Grammar did this year.

17. Music video with the most babe watch? Lmao idk. 😂 either Marina & the Diamonds’ How To Be a Heartbreaker or that Wasted video by Tiesto. Just thinking off the top of my head. lol OR Dance Like Were Making Love by Ciara. 😍

18. What do you play/would you play in the bedroom to spice things up? Lmao omg. Probably the entire Urban Flora album by Alina Baraz or something by Banks.

19. Can you play a musical instrument? I was getting somewhere with the clarinet and guitar but never furthered.

20. Ever been in a mosh pit? Nope but that Purity Ring concert, everyone was like tripping on drugs and didn’t have any concept of personal space. lol

21. Are you in a band? Nope.

28. Do you wish that you were a musician? Yes!

29. Best chick band you know of? I feel like I already answered this question before lol but damn idk, there’s so many. Since I’m listening to Florence right now, her. Fleetwood Mac. Saying chick band is weird too.

31. Last song that you heard on the radio/CD…etc…? Damn I honestly have no idea. lol but CD wise, probably Tether by Chvrches.

32. What do you think of Classical music? I don’t mind it. iTunes gave out a free song from Julia Fischer once and I enjoyed that.

33. What do you think of Country music? Love all the stuff from the 50’s until the early 2000’s then after that, I just become picky. But Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Eddy Arnold, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, all the greats.

34. What do you think of Death metal? I love it though I don’t listen to it as much as I used to. But Angela Gossow is a badass and so is Light This City. The Anhedonia Epidemic is still one of my favorite metal songs.

35. Last BIG band that you saw live? Probably Purity Ring. That was cool.

36. Are you a groupie? Haha no.

37. Do you listen to music in foreign languages? Not really but I do love the band Eths. All their songs are in French.

38. What famous musician would you like to “spend the night with”!? lol I am not saying.

39. Worst concert moment? I think I said this above, the Purity Ring concert. Also, I was trying to drink my beer and this girl who was tripping on drugs kept trying to squirm her way through and her hair got stuck in my hand as I was trying to drink and I pulled it on accident. 😂

40. Funny concert moment? Above. lol also, there was another couple there also on drugs and they were humping each other in the front. Not a care in the world.

41. Sad concert moment? None.

42. Best local act you can think of? I never knew Hana was from Montana so her.

43. If you were a musical instrument what would you be? A violin. They add drama. lol

44. Do you listen to the radio? When I can. lol but it’s not always.

45. Do you watch music TV? Like Fuse? I just go to YouTube.

46. Do you follow the music charts, like the top 40? Yes. People always talk shit about it and have their noses up when it comes to top 40 but I like it. lol

47. Have you met any famous musicians? Not like huge ones.

48. Are any of your friends/family/etc. musicians? My brother sings with his drum group and my auntie plays the drums. lol

49. Song that best describes your feelings right now? Runaway by Aurora. lol

50. Song that describes your life? Here It Comes by Emeli Sande, maybe. Idk. Braver Still by JJ Heller.

51. Do you know the names of all the band members that you listen to? Oh that is way too much names to know.

52. Does a musician’s physical attractiveness play a role in the music that you listen to? No but if they dress nice and look good, that’s cool too.

53. What famous musician do you want to marry? I don’t know about marry but I’d love to hang out with Ellie Goulding for a day.

53. Favorite movie sound track? All the damn Twilight and Hunger Games soundtracks, so much good music.

55. Any musician pet hates? I hate when there is a shortage of lyrics and the artist just keeps re-singing the chorus. I mean, it’s still enjoyable. I just wish there was more words to fill the gap.

56. What do your parents listen to? My mom loves old country. Especially country from the 60’s to the 90’s. So she really enjoys Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn..just to name a few. She likes some modern day country music but she usually sticks to the oldies and 90’s. I don’t really hear her listening to other genres at all really.

My dad loved 70’s disco and 90’s r&b. So some of his favorites are like Toni Braxton, The Beegees, Marvin Gaye, and his all-time favorite Earth, Wind, and Fire. Before he passed, he was trying to scrounge up some money to see Earth Wind and Fire in concert. I wish he could’ve went. He would also randomly listen to certain new r&b artists. lol

57. What are you listening to right NOW? Keeping Your Head Up by Birdy.

58. Do you wear band etc T-shirts? I used to a lot when I went through my rock-metal phase but not anymore. But when I buy some more, I will.

59. Do you cook to music? I do everything with music. lol

60. Do you sing in the toilet? Sometimes. lol
