if we're being realistic, being ripped apart by a horde of zombies has to be the most gruesome, most painful death of them all
#this post is brought to you by the part of me that constantly makes everything I see angsty#I watched all deaths in dl so far just to be able to claim this point btw#genuinely tho imagine falling into a pile of zombies and literally being ripped apart#imagine watching that happen to your (friend? partner?) soulmate and feeling that pain with him#and the worst part is that it's not instant#dying to tnt is probably as good as it gets because you're dead before you even get the chance to feel any pain#same with creepers#dying to a sword through the heart or something similar is probably the next best thing#falling to your death could be either really good or really bad depending on wether you break your neck or not#being killed by a single mob is far down the list but definitely better than being killed by a lot of them at once#being beat to death with bare hands also sucks but it sucks more for the person doing the beating#bc they have to keep going even after the other person stops fighting back#(you know.. like at the end of 3rd life?)#we haven't had any drowning or suffocating or starving in dl yet but those are also one of the worst ways to go#I think burning is worse than freezing bc with freezing you become numb at some point and then you fall asleep#both are still pretty bad tho#tw death#tw violence#double life#trafficblr#desert duo#grian#goodtimeswithscar#double life spoilers
