HPMA Appreciation Week - Day 3
MY FAVOURITE SHIP
On this wonderful third day of @endlessly-cursed HPMA Appreciation Week, it's all about love and our favourite ships. Seeing as I only have three HPMA characters and two ships in total, I figured ignoring one of them would be kinda rude, so we're going with both of them today!
DYLANIELLE - Dylan Amari & Danielle Parkin
Tumblr media
Dylan and Dana are my only ship consisting of two OCs that are both owned by me. Their my personal epitome of childhood-friends-to-lovers, and from the very beginning of their concept, they were meant to be nothing but fun and without any real drama (screw Dana for blowing my plans, but that's another story), and that's exactly what their charm is about - their reliability. Dana is the notoriously romantic, sometimes slightly ott girl who maybe lacks a little sense of realism at times, while Dylan is the stoic, fuss-free, cba-kind of guy, who usually doesn't get what all the drama is about. They are two sides of the same coin, and while they are both so different, there is nothing that could separate them not even entitled little sisters.
Bonus: I swear that the faceclaims for Dylan and Dana have a lot of material together because of their roles in GoT was a coincidence. Honestly. But I'm not exactly complaining about it, either.
REVANTE - Reva Amari & Dante Lopez Briarwood
Tumblr media
Who is even surprised at this point that Reva wiggled herself into this post, too? I genuinely wanted Dylan and Dana to have the spotlight today (because let's face it, having a ship between your own two OCs gets somewhat lonely at times), but the thing with Revante is - they're special. Reva and Dante were never meant to be. In fact, Reva was already in a ship by the time Dante came around, and Dante was created by @the-al-chemist with the intention of branching out to interacting with other creators outside our usual group. But... Reva wasn't happy and her ship no proper fit for her anymore. She decided she wanted to go travel the world. Dante had done so. He told her where to go. And before either Al or I knew it, these two had flaunted all our plans and had fallen in love, despite our best attempts to convince them that this wasn't the plan, guys. But ever since then, Reva and Dante have brought us nothing but joy, headaches, and laughter, and if two OCs go to such lengths to be together and be fabulous about it - what else can you do but roll with it, really?

Omg, I love the Swiftie game maybe a little too much, ngl 👀 You are amazing!
Seeing as I'm the most terrible person at choosing and you said multiple requests were fine....
How about Seliot, Lizion, and Dylanielle? 💛💛💛
(If you only want to do one, that's so fine!)
eeeeeeeek let’s talk some taylor!!!!!!!!!!
seliot - “The Way I Loved You” (Fearless) eliot belongs to the marvelous @kc-and-oc
“He is sensible and so incredible /And all my single friends are jealous” this is pretty straightforward: eliot is a very sensible ravenclaw, and there’s a reason selene is into him in the first place. and i too would be jealous of anyone dating adam brody’s face.
“He opens up my door and I get into his car / And he says you look beautiful tonight / And I feel perfectly fine” eliot is quite the courteous little gentlemen when the two are getting along, and i feel like this line fits with that one wildflower prompt u did for these guys!
“But I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain / And it's 2AM and I'm cursing your name / You're so in love that you act insane / And that's the way I loved you” if i could only use one word to describe seliot, i’d say passionate. and that includes their breakups and heartache as well as their good times. the chorus of this song really captures that passion that i associate so strongly with seliot.
“Breaking down and coming undone / It's a roller coaster kind of rush / And I never knew I could feel that much / And that's the way I loved you” rollercoaster is one way to put it, and a really perfect, really fitting way to put it i think. i especially love the “i never knew i could feel that much” because hey, it’s their first love, and it’s very intense!
there’s another verse about some more positive and cute relationship things, and then the chorus repeats. then we get the bridge: “He can't see the smile I'm faking / And my heart's not breaking / 'Cause I'm not feeling anything at all / And you were wild and crazy / Just so frustrating / Intoxicating, complicated” seliot is many things, but it’s never boring, and there’s never any question how real the feelings are behind it. this song compares a seemingly perfect relationship to a wild and passionate one, claiming that those feelings just weren’t there in the perfect one, and that it’s through all of the crazy fights and breakups that they know how strongly they feel for each other.
hehe if u need some good bitter breakup songs for these two, i am, once again, dropping this album here :)
lizion - “Wonderland” (1989 Deluxe Edition)
“Flashing lights and we / Took a wrong turn and we / Fell down a rabbit hole” all right so this would be that part in aob where lizzie is realizing her feelings for orion, and she’s metaphorically falling into this rabbit hole because of all of the drama.
“You held on tight to me/ 'Cause nothing's as it seems / And spinning out of control” lizzie’s whole world is falling apart- she’s fighting with rowan, charlie, and sometimes skye while going through this big emotional crisis. but, throughout it all, she has orion to hold onto.
“Didn't they tell us don't rush into things? / Didn't you flash your green eyes at me? / Haven't you heard what becomes of curious minds? / Ooh, didn't it all seem new and exciting? / I felt your arms twistin' around me / I should have slept with one eye open at night” the astronomy tower scene! lizzie gets caught up in her feelings and alcohol and gets a little too rash, which has disasterous consequences.
“We found Wonderland / You and I got lost in it / And we pretended it could last forever (Eh, eh) / We found Wonderland / You and I got lost in it / And life was never worse but never better (Eh, eh)” orion is such a wonderlandiful guy, isn’t he? the vibe that lizion gives off to me is that they seem like they can be in their own little absolutely adorable world together (especially in rockstar au!) “life was never worse but never better” i’m not sure what to add it just feels like it fits, you know?
“But there were strangers watching / And whispers turned to talking / And talking turned to screams” frigging rumors. but, another important point of their relationship and obstacles in aob!
“I reached for you, but you were gone / I knew I had to go back home” that point when lizzie chooses rowan over orion
“And in the end, in Wonderland / We both went mad” well, they didn’t actually, but there was a point when i was worried they were gonna go mad from all that stress!
side note - wildest dreams totally gives me rockstar! lizion vibes, even though orion doesn’t really fit the bad boy narrative the song has :)
dylanielle - “You Are In Love” (1989 Deluxe Edition)
“One look, dark room / Meant just for you” c’mon now, these two are totally the make-eye-contact-across-the-classroom-and-smile type.
“Buttons on a coat, lighthearted joke / No proof, not much, but you saw enough” one of the most important parts of this beautiful friends-to-lovers ship is that they show their love through little interactions (*cough* shadow puppets *cough*), rather than reallly grand romantic gestures. it’s not huge proof, but it’s enough to know theyre in love.
“Small talk, he drives / Coffee at midnight / The light reflects the chain on your neck / He says, "Look up" / And your shoulders brush / No proof, one touch, but you felt enough” even when they had one scene that they featured in that zadie and reva story, it was very clear that they were a couple from their casual and normal activities, like studying together, or getting coffee at midnight. and they’re totally the type to accidentally brush shoulders!
“You can hear it in the silence (Silence), silence (Silence), you / You can feel it on the way home (Way home), way home (Way home), you / You can see it with the lights out (Lights out), lights out (Lights out) / You are in love, true love / You are in love” all these two have to do is walk next to each other, and you can just tell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then we get some more little things lyrics that totally fits them, and we get this gem: “And for once, you let go / Of your fears and your ghosts / One step, not much, but it said enough” they both have the same ghost: this looming quidditch legacy draping over both of their heads! it’s through each other that they can help themselves in that regard.
“One night, he wakes / Strange look on his face / Pauses, then says "You're my best friend" / And you knew what it was, he is in love” it… it just sounds exactly like them! are we sure this song is older than this ship? it just fits too well!
“And you understand now / Why they lost their minds and fought the wars / And why I've spent my whole life trying to put it into words” no specific comment, just ugh these lyrics r so good!
send me a character or relationship and i’ll break down a t swift song i think suits them!

This most definitely is fanart of @tigerlilynoh  ‘s Job & Family, what I imagine that Dean would be like around a new Dylaniel.
Read her awesome  Fanfic (It should be it’s own book) Here!

Me and my sister were talking about NYSM and then I just had to give her a gentle reminder of what trash I am.
Me: Just in case you don’t know me at all. I do have an OTP for this fandom, it is in fact gay, and it does very much involve Ruffalo.

9, 16, 25 for… Revante, Dylanielle, Lizion and ROCKSTAR LIZION. 💛
Oooh, I love your picks, and I'm always up for the Rockstars being included so let's gooooo 💛💛💛
9) What’s the most difficult thing they’ve been through together?
Revante: All in all, they are pretty chill and wholesome. Speaking for Reva only here, it was pretty hard on her when she realised how much she actually missed Dante while she was on her travels. Also, realising there was more on her part when she returned - actually being self-conscious about how she is perceived by someone was a very new sensation to her.
Dylanielle: Spending years in a long-distance relationship straight after Dana graduated was pretty hard on both of them, even though they had very different ways of expressing it.
Lizion: Dealing with the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War / The Battle of Hogwarts in particular, and how radically their life changed from there on almost tore the two of them apart for good.
Rockstar Lizion: Uhm... the whole second part of WSI, basically? 😂 In particular, I'd say the phase between Parts 4 and 5, where they both were kind of aware of their feelings for each other but had no chance to act on them was probably the worst for both of them.
16) What would they consider quality time?
Revante: Reva is all about going out and exploring, sharing her passions or making new memories altogether. She'd much prefer showing Dante how to skateboard or explore a new place with him than having a night in.
Dylanielle: Dana didn't care much for hiking or mountain climbing until Dylan began taking her along. Exploring a new trail or climbing track is one of their most favourite things to do.
Lizion: Since they live and work together, they generally spend most of their days in each other's company. That being said, if they manage to sneak away from friends/teammates/kids and be just the two of them - at the beach, stargazing, or even just reading next to each other - they're both perfectly happy.
Rockstar Lizion: It's what they do all day every day, but music runs in their blood. An afternoon spent just making music and jamming would be considered pretty much perfect by both of them. Also, Orion has yet to take Lizzie to that poetry slam he promised her. He will, one day.
25) Pick a physical attribute that they love about each other.
Revante: Reva loves Dante's eyes. She thinks their colour is absolutely beautiful.
Dylanielle: Dylan loves Dana's laugh. It goes from a slight giggle to full-on laugh, and then she gets a hiccup. Funnily enough, it's Dylan's laugh Dana likes most as well, because with Dylan being more on the quiet, serious side, a full laugh from the bottom of his heart isn't something that many people get to hear from him.
Lizion: Lizzie loves the way Orion's eyes light up when he smiles. Even after all these years, his smile still makes her heart beat faster. Orion loves how Lizzie's eyes remind him of the sea, whether it's bright and blue on a sunny day or dark and stormy when there's she's angry.
Rockstar Lizion: Lizzie *loves* all the many tattoos Orion has, and the story behind them. She could probably draw them from memory... if she could draw at all, that is. Orion would be lying if he said that he didn't enjoy the way being a professional drummer and once-aspiring athlete shaped Lizzie's physique.

October Writing Challenge - Day 26
The other members of the HPMA Breakfast Club belong to @kc-and-oc (Nova Mae), @whatwouldvalerydo (Scarlett Tempest), and @the-al-chemist (Saffron Summers). Rory McTavish (in mention) belongs to @the-al-chemist as well.
This scene is a continuation of Day 2: Pumpkin Picking.
Tumblr media
The delicious smell of vanilla and cinnamon wafted through the air when Danielle Parkin and Saffron Summers entered the vast room housing the kitchens of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
As always, the room was lit by the many cooking fires burning alongside the walls, casting their flickering shadows over the low, arched ceilings. The gleam of the flames was reflected by the polished cooking pots and pans which were stacked on top of each other in between the fireplaces, and made the kitchens look even busier than they actually were.
Dana spotted her friends Nova Mae and Scarlett Tempest immediately; they had already started on baking their annual Halloween treats without them and had spread their ingredients and recipes all over one of the huge tables at the far end of the room.
Nova was busy hitting her baking tray with raw orange macarons against the table to get rid of any residual air in the dough, and the sharp sound rang loudly through the half-light of the kitchen.
But even if Nova hadn’t been making such a ruckus, there would have been no way Dana could have missed her friends.
Sparkling even brighter than the glinting cooking utensils was Nova’s dress; it was always a bit of a surprise in what kind of outfit the red headed Ravenclaw would show up each day, but today’s choice of clothes was taking the cake - literally.
Nova was wearing a black turtle neck jumper underneath a silver sequin cocktail dress that sparkled as brightly as her astronomical namesake. Godric knew what had made her choose that particular dress; Dana wasn’t sure even Nova herself would know the answer to that question.
Next to Nova, her other friend Scarlett was busy putting some icing on the bat shaped cookies she’d already finished baking.
As had to be expected, Scarlett was looking as glamorous as always, but she had something unusual about her today as well; even though it must have been almost too dark for her to see properly, she was wearing a pair of huge, gold-trimmed sunglasses.
“Have we missed some sort of dress code?” Dana asked amusedly and levitated the giant pumpkin she and Saffron had brought from the pumpkin patch onto the table. “What’s with the sunglasses, Scarlett?”
Scarlett looked up from her cookies over the rim of her sunglasses and nodded over to Nova.
“Curtsy to our disco ball over here I need these to see anything but stars,” she said with an eye roll, but Dana only chuckled; she was so used to Nova and Scarlett bickering, she barely even noticed it anymore.
“Those look amazing,” she said instead and reached for one of the bat cookies, only to have her hand swatted away by Scarlett.
“Of course they do,” she said, “and they will still do at our brunch tomorrow. All of them,” she added and gave Dana a pointed look.
“Don’t be so stingy with the cookies,” Dana said and managed to nick one anyway; as expected, it was delicious.
“It’s only the four of us, after all. Or do you want to invite our whole year?”
“Certainly not,” Scarlett snorted, “there’s hardly anyone worthwhile in our year.”
“Very different from the year below us, mind you,” Nova piped up with a smirk.
She had put her macarons into the oven and was now joining Scarlett with a bag of icing.
Dana looked between her two friends suspiciously. “You think so?”
“Definitely,” Scarlett said and fluttered her eyelashes at Dana. “That Rory guy from your House for example, he seems to be quite into you, don’t you think? He’s not the worst looking either.”
Dana rolled her eyes. “Don’t remind me. You can have him if you want. I have enough Quidditch showoffs in my family as it is.”
“And Rory is not Dana’s type anyway,” Saffron chimed up from behind Dana’s back. She was speaking casually and not looking at her friends; she had already started carving the flesh out of their pumpkin and was busy laying the pits out in a pattern around her bowl.
“Elaborate, please,” Nova said with a grin when she saw Dana blushing.
“She likes longer hair, and darker too,” Saffron said with a dreamy undertone, plucking more pits out of the pumpkin, “more of the quiet sort and -”
“Don’t you think we should concentrate on baking?” Dana interrupted her hurriedly. “We need to get going if we want to be done before dinner.”
Without suffering any more protest, Dana grabbed a knife and helped Saffron with preparing the filling for their pumpkin pie. She had always been exakt with following her recipes, but the level of meticulousness she was displaying today was surprising.
“Who cares if it’s a pinch or a little more?” Nova said when Dana berated her for being too generous with the cinnamon. “That's the beauty of baking, the result is never quite the same. Why are you so stressed about it?”
“Dylan said he’d wanted to try the pie,” Saffron said with the slightest of smiles while carving little hearts into the dough.
“Have you ever thought about wearing more pink?” she suddenly addressed Dana, who was trying not to look her in the eye. “I think a pink dress would look lovely on you.”
“I bet Dylan would like to see you in a pink dress very much,” Nova said innocently, sniggering at the mortified expression on Dana’s face.
“Can’t be any worse than that monstrosity of a dress,” Scarlett said wryly and pointed her spoon at Nova.
“I really don’t see your problem,” Nova shot back with a slight scrunch of her nose. “I think I’m looking fabulous.”
“Positively dazzling,” Scarlett said wryly and flicked her sunglasses back onto her nose.
Both of them started bickering again and Dana sighed; they wouldn’t be done by Christmas if they continued at this pace.
“Can’t you two just stop?” she called out. “I really want to get this baking done. I have prefect patrol later and want to get changed before.”
But neither Nova nor Scarlett were listening to her; they were busy throwing fists full of flour at each other, screeching and laughing all the while.
Dana looked at them and sighed. “Why can’t I have some normal friends?”
“Because everyone can be normal,” Saffron said with a detached look on her face, “and normal is boring. I like extraordinary better.”
“You’re right, of course,” Dana smiled at her best friend.
She raised her eyebrows when Saffron pushed a small can into her hands.
“What’s that?”
“Black pepper,” Saffron replied with a smile of her own, “for the pie. The extraordinariness you’re missing.”
Her eyes had a gleam to them as she returned to the sunflower she had been carving into her dough. “I want your pie to turn out well, too.”

8 for Seliot, 13 for Bradlyn, 21 for Fareva, 24 for Dylanielle, 25 for Lizion, 26 for Avarlie
Are these the right numbers and have I allocated them to the right ships? Maybe not, but let’s go with it anyway 😂💛
They do sound as if they make sense this time, so let's get cracking 😂💛
Ethel Hexley belongs to @the-al-chemist, Eliot Gerard belongs to @kc-and-co and Farid Sikander to @carewyncromwell
NSFW questions under the cut!
8. What were their first impressions of each other?
Selene thought Eliot looked always very stressed and somewhat confused. She figured he could probably use some cheering up, poor boy.
Eliot always thought Ethel's twin was a boy and in Hufflepuff but seeing Selene and Ethel together all day every day, he wasn't quite so sure he'd gotten it right. He did think she had cute dimples when she smiled, though.
13. Name something they would never do for the other person.
Carolyn could never go against her logical assessment of a situation, especially if her instinct tells her she got it right. She mostly gets it right. Another thing she would never have done, for anybody, was to give up on her career prospects to look pretty on someone's arm.
Not even for Carolyn would Bradford abandon his rebellious streak and do what his parents expect from him.
21. How have they changed each other for the better/for the worse?
Being with Farid was never going to be the easy road and it broadened Reva's horizon and how she saw the world. Farid calmed her down considerably, but isn't also entirely blameless for making Reva go a little off rails with dating while she was at school. But hey, you're only young once.
Farid and Reva are like yin and yang and loving a whirlwind like Reva has certainly spiced Farid's life up in more than one way. He discovered he has quite the mischievous side, actually, when he started bending the rules of his faith in certain aspects in a very creative way to allow Reva and him to live an as normal life as possible during their engagement. Reva being the bad influence she loves to be, it got to a point where Farid enjoyed rule interpretation and teasing her within his boundaries maybe a little too much.
24. What is something they have each had to forgive the other for?
Dylan was not happy at all when Dana pulled the "You're her brother" card on him when it came to who should tell Reva that they had started a relationship. Also, sometimes it's hard for him to accept that Dana loves her friends from the Breakfast Club (@the-al-chemist @whatwouldvalerydo @kc-and-co) just as much as she loves him. But then again, it means quiet time for him, so overall, he's good.
Maybe Dana shouldn't have put the responsibility of talking to Reva on conflict-hating Dylan alone, but when she found out he hadn't talked to her at all when she asked him to and Reva had to find out with everybody else that her brother and honourary sister were a couple, she was more than a little mad with Dylan.
25. What moves do they know work on the other?
Lizzie knows exactly how much Orion loves to see her shaking her hair out and playing with it and she ruthlessly uses it to her advantage. Also, long and lingering kisses have never let her down so far.
When Orion started calling Lizzie (and back then, Skye too, actually) Chaser when they were on the Quidditch pitch, it was practical and part of his team philosophy. When it seeped out from Quidditch and became a nickname, it was funny. But let's just say, there's a reason the Captain/Chaser nicknames stuck around way longer than they were parts of the Hufflepuff House team.
26. What are their favorite parts about physical affection/sex?
Ava thinks about things, all day everyday, and sex is a way for her to effectively make her mind shut up and focus entirely on her body. It's one of her favourite ways to just be in the moment and not to worry too much.
If Charlie loves, he loves with all of his heart and soul, and wants to be with that other person in every way possible. For him, it's the ultimate closeness, physically and emotionally, that makes sex so special.

October Writing Challenge - Day 12
The lovely ladies of the HPMA breakfast club (besides Danielle) belong to @the-al-chemist (Saffron), @kc-and-oc (Nova) and @whatwouldvalerydo (Scarlett).
Tumblr media
With a shriek, Dana ducked behind the low stone wall, just in time before a load of blue coloured dust could explode where moments before her head had been.
That had been close.
She cautiously peered over the edge of the wall, only to duck again when a second missile - this time in vibrant green - was directed at her. She heard her friends Nova and Scarlett curse when they saw they had missed her again, and Dana smirked contentedly.
Spring had just broken over Scotland, and it was the first week that it actually felt like winter was over. The weather was getting warmer, and everywhere tiny specks of vibrant, light green were bursting through the dreary brown.
To celebrate the start of a new season, the festival committee of the Hogwarts student body had decided to try out something new.
In the Muggle world, celebrating the Indian feast of Holi seemed to be the latest rage; it was a festival to mark the beginning of spring, where all societal restraints were abandoned and people doused each other in powder in the brightest and most beautiful colours imaginable.
Each Hogwarts student willing to participate had been supplied with pouches of powder in their respective house colours, so that by the end of the day, they all would be wearing red, yellow, green and blue; not divided by their Houses, but joined in their love for life.
It went without saying that the very beautiful and peaceful idea had turned into a carnage of flying colour bombs within minutes.
Even though Dana held no love for Quidditch, she still was a Parkin, and had a naturally good aim; her best friends Saffron, Scarlet, and Nova had been quick to get hit by clouds of fiery red powder.
They had sworn bitter retaliation, but so far, Dana had been lucky to escape each and every one of their attacks.
They had been chasing her down to Hagrid’s hut, where Dana had saved herself by diving behind the wall that was now giving her a moment to breathe.
“They’re vicious,” Dana mumbled as she heard another pouch bursting against the wall.
“What did you expect?” the unfazed voice of her boyfriend said next to her.
Dana hadn’t even known Dylan was down here working today, until she had almost knocked him over.
“You’re still clean, while they look like exploded paint pots. I would want revenge, too.”
Dana cocked an eyebrow at him. “No you wouldn’t. You didn’t even care enough to join in on the fun.”
Dylan shrugged, indicating his work. “Got better things to do, haven’t I?”
“Hmpf,” Dana huffed, “But you’re right, I wouldn’t be too happy getting destroyed like that either.”
She chuckled at the sight of Scarlett and Nova; the red base of dust Dana had covered them in was overlaid by specks of green and blue respectively, as they had started turning against each other.
The only one who was doing her very own thing was the fourth member of their squad; Saffron had wandered after Scarlett and Nova when they had chased Dana, and was now turning dreamily in a cloud of yellow powder she had thrown into the air.
It descended down on her and turned her blonde hair and colourful dress a deep yellow; she turned her face towards the sun with a broad smile, and Dana was distinctly reminded of a sunflower.
“Look at Saff,” Dana laughed, “she’s definitely enjoying herself. Even though she’s all yellow.”
“What’s wrong with yellow?”
“Oh nothing. If you’re a badger,” she grinned, “but objectively speaking, red is obviously the best colour. The colour of love, and fire, and passion.”
“If you say so,” Dylan said wryly. He had laid down his repair kit and had edged closer to Dana; she could feel the warmth of his body next to her.
“Can you imagine me all in yellow?” she added with a teasing smile towards her Hufflepuff boyfriend. “Now that would be a sight to see.”
Dylan hummed in response; he had laid his hand on Dana’s shoulder, applying slight pressure, and she leaned against him trustingly.
“Luckily, I don’t have to imagine that at all,” he smirked.
Before Dana could react, he had produced a small pouch of canary yellow powder from behind his back and made it burst right above her head.
Dana coughed as she inhaled the dust. She shook the powder out of her eyes, and the world around her turned all yellow for a moment.
“You bloody little shit!” she exclaimed over Dylan’s laughter, “You said you weren’t joining! No fair!”
“Didn’t prevent me from arming myself, just in case,” he grinned. “You look stunning all in yellow by the way.”
His grin was wiped off his face, however, when Dana threw her last remaining bag of red powder at him; it exploded directly into his face, and instead of laughter, only a small puff of scarlett dust left Dylan’s mouth.
“That was uncalled for,” he coughed.
“That was revenge,” Dana shot back.
She started giggling when Dylan shook his head forcefully, red dust flying everywhere and painting even the tips of his dark hair in the Gryffindor house colour.
“I do have to say, red suits you,” she said innocently, “I told you, it’s the best of the lot.”
There was a mischievous sparkle in Dylan’s eyes when he suddenly reached out for her and pulled her in for a short, but passionate kiss that took Dana’s breath away.
When he let go of her again, the yellows and reds on their skins had mixed where their faces had touched.
“Maybe you think so,” Dylan said with a smile, “but I definitely prefer orange.”

October Writing Challenge - Day 30
The other members of the HPMA Breakfast Club belong to @kc-and-oc (Nova Mae), @whatwouldvalerydo (Scarlett Tempest), and @the-al-chemist (Saffron Summers). Rory McTavish belongs the my beloved @the-al-chemist as well, and Farid Sikander (in mention) is borrowed from @carewyncromwell. Thanks for letting me do this OC fest 💛
Tumblr media
The first Hogsneade outing of the year fell onto a beautiful golden autumn day, just like the ones Dana liked most.
It was the beginning of October, and Dana felt like she had finally settled into the new school year for good. She was on her way to the village with her three best friends, feeling the warm rays of the autumn sun on her face.
The patches of the path that were lying in the shadows of the trees were already delightfully chilly, and Dana snuggled deeper into her dark red jumper as she marched through the crunching leaves, her friend Nova on her arm on her left side, and Scarlett on the right.
The fourth girl to complete their squad was trailing a little behind. Saffron had brought one of her bunnies with her, Gavin, and kept stopping to show him dried leaves, a conker or some mushrooms growing at the side of the road.
“Hurry up, Saff,” Dana called over her shoulder, “at the pace you’re going it will be dark by the time we get to the village. Madam Rosmerta has a new pumpkin spiced butterbeer I want to try.”
When they finally arrived at Hogsmeade, the cobbled streets were busy with Hogwarts students already.
Madam Rosmerta had set up a few tables and benches outside of The Three Broomsticks to give her patrons the chance to enjoy the lovely weather. The four girls and Gavin managed to find an unoccupied one and sat down; knowing their usual orders, Nova didn’t waste much time and went into the pub to get their drinks.
When she came back, however, she carried a tray with four identical looking glasses with a clear golden liquid sloshing inside, a slice of apple decorating the rim of each one.
“That doesn’t look pumpkin spiced,” Dana said with an arched eyebrow.
“Or like butterbeer in the first place,” Scarlett added but reached for a glass anyway. She sniffed it sceptically and her face brightened. “Is that apple cider?”
“Straight from the barrel,” Nova grinned and sat down next to Scarlett, opposite Dana and Saffron. “Madam Rosmerta makes it herself, I couldn’t say no to that.”
The four girls clinked their glasses together and Dana took a sip of the drink; it was good, very good actually, the rich taste sweet and fruity on her tongue.
“Good choice, Nova,” she said and took another sip, “it’s delicious. Much better than the one Hagrid makes. That stuff is awfully strong, I tell you. I don’t want to know what he put in there.”
Saffron didn’t seem too fazed - she was busy feeding her apple slice to Gavin - but Nova and Scarlett exchanged glances.
“When have you been to Hagrid’s?” Nova asked.
Dana felt her cheeks redden. “Oh, just the other day.”
“With who?” Scarlett wanted to know, her hazel eyes narrowed in suspicion. Both she and Nova leaned forward in anticipation.
“No one, really,” Dana replied evasively and studied her blackberry coloured fingernails very intently.
“She’s been with Dylan,” Saffron suddenly piped up next to her.
She leaned over and plucked the apple slices from her friends’ glasses as well. “He took her because he didn’t want to try Hagrid’s cider alone.”
Nova’s eyes were sparkling and she gripped Scarlett’s wrist in excitement. Scarlett’s lips curved into a knowing smile.
“Don’t tell me your badger boy has finally caught on?” she teased Dana, who was as red in the face as her jumper. “You’re going on a date with that little cutie and never thought to tell us?”
“It wasn’t a date at all!” Dana exclaimed, maybe a little too vehemently. “We talked about it and he asked me if I wanted to come. He could have just as well asked Saffron instead.”
“No,” Saffron sighed, watching Gavin groom himself with a dreamy smile, “he didn’t want to go with me at all.”
Dana wanted to defend herself when the door to The Three Broomsticks opened and a boy with a familiar shock of red hair and a face full of freckles stepped outside. It was Rory McTavish, a boy from Dana’s House.
He seemed to be looking for someone, and Dana gave a small yelp, got off her seat and hid under the table before he could see her.
And not a second too late, because after a moment, she heard Rory’s voice calling over to Nova, Scarlett, and Saffron.
“Ladies,” he said with his unmistakably self-confident tone, which had only intensified since he’d been appointed captain of the Gryffindor house team. “Where’s Dana today?”
“Oh, she’s gone to look at some shoes,” Nova said innocently and wiggled her boot in Dana’s face under the table.
Dana momentarily thought of tying her shoelaces together, but dismissed the thought immediately; she was spending too much time with Reva, it seemed.
“Pity,” she heard Rory say, “if you see her, tell her I need to talk to her about the next pre-match party. Can’t be seen going alone, can I?”
“Looking at shoes, how witty,” Dana hissed up at Nova when she was sure Rory was gone.
Nova laughed and stuck her tongue out. “I’m a Ravenclaw, what did you expect? I was born witty.”
“Why are you hiding under the table anyway?” Scarlett asked. “Doesn’t look very comfortable down there.”
Dana shifted, trying to get back into her seat, but found getting up a little tricker then getting down.
“I’m just sick of Rory’s blatant flirting attempts,” she said as she tried wiggling herself out backwards. “I tried telling him to stop but he won’t listen. Dylan and he almost got into a fight because of it the other day.”
“Did they, now?” Scarlett smirked and exchanged knowing glances with Nova.
“His aura was grey, very upset,” Saffron offered an explanation, and Dana gave her best friend a dark look. “A lot of green, too.”
“Green?” Nova giggled. “Didn’t that mean -”
“No, it didn’t,” Dana cut her off as dignified as she could while still being stuck between bench and table. “Whatever you want to say, shut it. Dylan’s not -”
“Dylan’s not what?”
Dana froze as she heard a familiar voice behind her.
Not being able to turn around properly she dipped her head back, and looked into Dylan’s bemused face with an embarrassed smile.
His arms were full of packets and parcels, which were probably for Hagrid; his best friend Farid Sikander was standing behind him, equally as laden with supplies.
“Dylan’s able to help me out of here?” Dana tried and looked up at him hopefully.
“Do I even want to ask?” Dylan muttered, and handed Farid his share of parcels. He took Dana by the shoulders and pulled her out from beneath the table.
“You’re my hero,” she laughed, instantly regretting her choice of words when she saw Nova and Scarlett exchange a look.
“What were you doing under the table anyway?”
Dana pursed her lips and avoided her eyes. “Looking at shoes, apparently.”
“She was hiding from Rory,” Saffron explained innocently.
Dana glared at her, but Saffron paid her no mind; she was busy stroking Gavin together with Farid, who seemed completely enamoured by the small animal.
Dylan frowned and looked along the bustling street with a dark look, as if he could still see Rory strutting along the shops.
“He’s still at it?”
“Yes,” Dana sighed, “he’s a really good friend, but it’s starting to get on my nerves.”
Dylan’s eyes turned to her. “Do you want me to have a word with him?”
“Absolutely not,” Dana said immediately. “Not after the argument you had with him last week.”
“Someone had to tell him he’s a pompous peacock sooner or later,” Dylan muttered, and Dana’s friends giggled.
“And that’s why I want you to stay out of it,” she clarified.
“So you’re happy with being constantly hit on by him?”
Dana was surprised at the hint of anger in Dylan’s voice.
“No, of course not.”
Dylan still seemed annoyed, but didn’t look as disgruntled anymore.
“Either tell him to stop or do something about it. People are talking.”
Not giving Dana a chance to reply, he took his packets back from Farid and vanished in the bustling crowd. Dana looked after him with a frown.
It wasn’t like Dylan to get so snappy, and if anyone didn’t care about what other people thought, it was him.
“Merlin, what was that about?” she mumbled to herself.
Across from her, Nova and Scarlett were shaking their heads, laughing.
“And to think that you’re supposed to be the clever one,” Nova giggled.
“So naive,” Scarlett agreed and took another drink of her cider with gleaming eyes. “Maybe we should take matters into our own hands.”
Worried about the rapidly widening grins on her friends’ faces, Dana felt a slight sense of dread spreading in her stomach.
“What are you two on about?”
But neither Nova nor Scarlett answered her; they just smirked and pushed Dana’s cider towards her.
“Don’t you worry,” Nova winked. “Drink, and leave the rest to us.”

October Writing Challenge - Day 4
Tumblr media
Dylan had always loved thunderstorms.
Ever since he’d been a child, he had found himself getting excited when the skies had darkened and lightning had flashed over an angry sea. He had spent hours watching the patterns of light crack through the darkness and felt the rumbling thunder reverberating deep inside his chest.
Watching nature display its raw power had something humbling to it, and after all these years, Dylan had only grown to love it even more.
A sentiment the other thing he had learned to love didn’t seem to share in slightest.
Danielle had been tense ever since the wind had started picking up, but once the storm had shown its true magnificent face, she hadn’t even bothered trying to sleep anymore. She flinched at every crack of white light illuminating the insides of their tent, and pulled her sleeping bag a tiny little bit higher with every crash of thunder roaring directly above their heads; at the rate she was going, she would soon have vanished inside her sleeping bag completely.
“It’s only a storm,” Dylan said softly. He reached over to Dana and pulled her into his arms. Her muscles were as tense as a coiled spring and he gently stroked her hair; it tickled the insides of his palms. “Nothing to be afraid about.”
Dana snorted but Dylan felt her relaxing already as she rested her head on his chest and snuggled against him. “A storm in the mountains, right above our heads,” Dana clarified wryly, “I’m not eager on getting roasted.”
“We won’t,” Dylan replied, “we’ve put the protection spells up. If the lightning strikes here it will be deflected. You won’t notice a thing.”
Actually, they would very much notice; it had happened to Dylan once before that a bolt of lightning had been cast off by magic, and it had shaken the whole tent to the core; but that wasn’t something he should tell his girlfriend at this point, he figured.
“I hope so,” Dana replied glumly. “We should have gone back to the chalet, like I said. I’d feel a lot better with a proper roof above my head.”
Dylan’s laugh was low and warm. “Don’t you trust my magic?”
Dana pressed her face against his chest and kept her eyes shut as another flash of lightning painted the insides of the tent a painfully bright white. “I don’t trust this creepy light.”
“There’s nothing creepy about it. It’s just light.”
“Excuse me, have you ever seen a horror movie? Lightning in the darkness is prime jump scare material.”
Dylan laughed again and Dana had to lift her head from his chest. She didn’t seem to find it as amusing as he did, because even in the darkness Dylan knew that she was glaring at him.
“Don’t laugh. I hate the way everything looks when lightning flashes. All you see are lights and shadows, and everything is so bright and pale and sharp. You don’t even know where to look first, and then it’s gone again and the darkness feels even darker.”
With a sigh, Dylan sat up, immediately missing the warmth of Dana and his sleeping bag as it fell down from his chest. He didn’t agree with her at all; he found the way everything was illuminated for a fraction of a second - showing things exactly how they were with nothing to hide - had something oddly poetic about it. But he didn’t want Dana to be scared either.
He reached for his rucksack at the side of the tent, feeling his way along the zips and straps until his fingers touched the cool metal of the storm lantern he had been looking for.
Behind him, he heard Dana’s sleeping bag rustling as she sat up as well. “What are you doing?”
“Making light,” he muttered and tapped his wand against the silver lid of the lamp with a silent clink. The fuse in the centre of the lantern caught flame and one moment later, the soft golden sheen of the fire turned the darkness of the tent into a soft, warm glow.
Dylan had to blink a few times until his eyes grew accustomed to the new light. It wasn’t too bright, but easy on the eye and most importantly, it hid the cracks of lightning which continued flashing over the night sky on the other side of the tent walls.
“Thank you,” Dana said quietly, “you didn’t have to.” But Dylan could see in her grateful smile how relieved she was he had dispelled the darkness for her.
“I did,” Dylan shrugged.
He heaved his heavy rucksack behind him and leaned his back against it. He held his arm out to Dana and she shuffled closer, snuggling against him with a content sigh. Dylan would never grow tired of how perfectly her head fit into the crook of his neck.
He rested his head against hers and watched the shadows the flickering flame painted on the walls of the tent. “What do you want to do now? Sleeping is out of the question with a fire burning.”
Dana chuckled, turned her head and pressed a kiss against the line of his jaw, close to his ear. “I can think of one thing or another.”
Dylan’s lips curved into a smile. It was astounding how quickly Dana’s mood had improved. “Not so scared anymore now, are we?”
Dana’s fingers tiptoed over his chest until her hand came to rest over the strong beat of his heart. “Not with you here.”
She pulled Dylan in for a lingering kiss. Her fingers tangled in his dark curls while his hands snaked around her waist, holding her close; the scent of strawberries in her hair made Dylan’s head spin and made him forget anything that wasn’t Dana in his arms.
They couldn’t see the lightning, but the thunder roaring above them was suddenly sounding threateningly close, a lot closer than before, and Dylan could feel the ground vibrating beneath them. The fine hairs on his neck stood on edge as the deflecting charm around them activated and the air itself seemed to buzz with the magic coming to life.
Dana pulled back, her eyes wide. “What was that?”
“The shield charm,” Dylan said, his heart beating wildly in his chest, “lightning must have struck.”
Dana let go of him completely now and her face lost all of its colour. “You said we wouldn’t feel a thing if lightning hit the tent.”
“It didn’t actually hit the tent,” Dylan said with a tiny shrug, “I reckon it was some tree nearby.”
Dana scowled. “That’s not funny at all, Dylan!”
Dylan sighed. “I know, sorry. Come back,” he said and opened his arms for her again.
Dana gave him a dark look, and for a moment Dylan feared she was actually angry with him, but Dana was never one to be mad for long. She came back into his embrace, but the heated moment between had gone again as quickly as it had come.
They stayed like this in silence for a while, cuddled closely together and listening to the rain splattering against the fabric of the tent. Dylan had rested his head against Dana’s again and she turned slightly to reach up and gently stroke his hair. He was on the point of dozing off when Dana suddenly stopped playing with his hair and giggled.
Dylan opened his eyes and looked at her questiongly. She giggled again and nodded at the wall opposite them. Dylan shook his head and the corners of his mouth curved into a smile. Dana was holding her hand behind Dylan’s head and stuck up her index and middle finger so his shadowy self looked as if it had small, wiggling bunny ears.
“Very funny,” Dylan said wryly, his tone making Dana laugh all the more.
“That’s child’s play, you know,” Dylan smirked and shifted so he had both his arms free again. “Look at this.”
He raised his hands between the light of the storm lamp and the tent wall and crossed them over each other, bending the tips of his fingers ever so slightly. He moved his hands and watched the shadow image of a butterfly fly across the wall.
“That’s pathetic, Amari,” Dana scoffed teasingly. “Watch this.”
Dana leaned forward so her hands were next to his and put them together so the backs of her hands were facing each other. She curled a few of her fingers in, straightening others and adjusted them carefully until she was happy with the result. She wiggled her fingers and Dylan watched a rabbit hop over the wall next to his butterfly.
They continued like this, each trying their best to think up the most exotic animals. They laughed loudly when it didn’t work out, and tried to distract the other when the shadow image of their hands threatened to become too lifelike for the other to trump it. The tent was filled with banter and laughter, just as it had been back when they were only small children.
Dana laughed loudly and leaned against Dylan after she had mistaken his camel for a duck. Her cheeks hurt from the laughter they had been sharing and she had gotten a light hiccup from it.
“You’re so bad at this, it hurts,” she teased, laughing even harder when he feigned a hurt expression.
“My heart is broken,” Dylan declared and put a hand on his chest. “How can I convince you of the opposite?”
“Do a better one than this,” Dana grinned, raised her hands and let the distinct projection of a swan swim its way over the wall.
“Hm,” Dylan hummed, “I know only one thing to trump this. It’s a favourite of mine. I think you might like it,” he said, before leaning in and silencing her giggles with a kiss. He gently got hold of her chin and tilted her head slightly, so the image of their shadows was sharp and clear against the fabric of the wall.
He felt Dana smile against his lips as she brought her arms around his neck. “Good shot, Amari. I think you win.”

3 and 12 for:
- Lizion
- Rockstar!Lizion
- Chava? Avarlie? Whatever, you know who I mean.
- Bradlyn
- Seliot
- Dylana
I love those questions but of course I can't answer them shortly. Wouldn't be me if it was a precise answer, would it? 😂
Brady and Eliot belong to the wonderful @kc-and-oc of course!
3) What quirks/mannerisms do they consider characteristic of each other?
Lizion: To Lizzie (and probably everybody else) there is nothing more characteristic to Orion than his complicated way of speaking. Over time, she became fluent in speaking Orion. The one quirk Orion associates most with her has got to be her unwillingness to keep her hair open. The handful of times he's seen her out and about without a ponytail can be counted on two hands.
Rockstar!Lizion: Lizzie has a black sweater that used to belong to Orion and she refused to forgot to give back. She wears it whenever she's not feeling well because it's cosy af. That's the one and only reason. If Orion has his hands on a guitar, he is always absentmindedly plucking the strings ever so lightly when he's not playing actively.
Avarlie: Every available surface in Ava's place is covered with books and scrolls and maps and notebooks. Charlie has long given up on trying to stem the flood of parchment. Ava made a sport out of it to come up with the most ridiculous dragon theories of her own and see if she can make Charlie believe them. She’s a good actor but has never succeeded so far.
Bradlyn: Caro wears thin leather gloves when is working on a potion so as not to spoil the ingredients with body heat or residue from other ingredients. Brady automatically scans every room he enters for the best options to paint and the way the light falls into it. He gets a very contemplative expression when he does that which Caro adores.
Seliot: Selene cannot not comment on whiskey. She'll always have one and will most likely find something is wrong with it if it doesn't have the name "Fraser" on the bottle. Eliot tried tricking her once by rebottling a Fraser blend but she saw him through immediately. Eliot works extremely hard and sometimes forgets everything else when he is consumed by paperwork and research. They never lived together but when they spend time together on a project in Egypt, Selly always tried to remind him to at least eat something once in a while.
Dylanielle: Danielle has an impressive collection of nail varnishes and often switches colours every other day. Much like his father, Dylan tends to run his hands through his hair when he is distressed or nervous.
12) How do they react to each other’s nicknames/terms of endearment?
Lizion: Orion started calling Lizzie 'Chaser' first and and then off the pitch as a direct reaction to her calling him 'Captain' whenever it came to Quidditch. Both like these nicknames and they stuck with them even after graduation when Orion wasn't captain anymore.
Rockstar!Lizion: Orion's nickname for Lizzie is drummer girl, in allusion to the famous song "Little Drummer Boy" and, obviously, because she is a drummer and a girl. Witty, right? Feeling she might need something in return, Lizzie started calling him Free Bird, after the Lynyrd Skynyrd song, because she found it fit him. She never planned on sticking to it until she found out it annoyed Orion and changed her mind about it.
Avarlie: They never really had special nicknames for each other, except for common couple ones like "love" or "darling". However, sometimes Ava used to call Charlie "Dragon Boy". He never really liked it, so she stopped with that. Nowadays, she uses it if she wants to get under his skin - which she does a lot.
Bradlyn: Caro isn't great on nicknames, she'd much rather use Brady's actual name. She was very impressed however, when Brady started calling her "raring" one day, the Swedish word for "darling". When/If she feels particularly soft, she'd use the same one for him.
Seliot: When they surprisingly met again at a dig site in Egypt, Eliot was working as a healer for the cursebreakers involved in the excavation. Not wanting everyone to know their history, Selene mostly referred to him as "Doc". Eliot had a particular nickname for Selene as well, but that remains a secret between the two of them.
Dylanielle: Dylan and Dana mainly use common nicknames for each other. Dylan sometimes calls Danielle a stunner, but not only because he thinks she's absolutely gorgeous but because there are few people in the dueling club who still stand when hit by one of her stunning spells.

Ship asks for… Dylan and Dana please!
I knew I could count on you for asking about Dylanielle, Bestie! 💛
Drinks all of the coffee - Dylan likes a good cup of strong coffee, preferably enjoyed outside or on the top of a mountain. Dana likes a coffee in the morning but would otherwise go for tea - the crazier the flavour the better!
Brings up getting a pet - Dylan, no questions asked. He inherited his mother's love for magical creatures and his godfather's unbroken enthusiam and endless supply of dragon stories didn't help.
Kills the bugs - Dylan would favour rescue them while Dana prefers the "I haven't seen you, you haven't seen me" approach. When she has no choice, she would totally kill them though, but would probably scream while doing so.
Cooks the meals - Dana. Dylan is very easily pleased when it comes to food as long as no meat is involved and doesn't care much about it. Danielle, on the other hand, really enjoys cooking and baking. Her friend Saffron (@the-al-chemist) showed her a few amazing vegan recipes.
Starts getting into holidays way before they should - Dana is easily excited and holidays are no exemption, especially when it comes to Christmas. Dylan sometimes wishes she would tone it down a little but if it makes her happy, he just rolls along.
Initiates the couple selfies - Both of them enjoy taking selfies. Dana's are typically more cutesy or funny - she specialises in taking funny pictures while Dylan is sleeping - while Dylan enjoys actually capturing moments with her when they're out and about together.
Forgets the birthdays and anniversaries - Both of them are good at remembering important dates. Dylan because he is just good at remembering things, Dana because she keeps notes on them.
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping - Not necessarily junk food because she enjoys cooking way too much for that, but Dana has a massive sweet tooth. If Dylan let her, she would probably come back with a whole bakery's worth of cakes and cookies. You bake something for her, you're an instant addition to her circle of friends.
Nicknames the other - Apart from the usual, Dylan sometimes calls her "stunner" - not because he wants to be cheesy but because Danielle can cast a stunning spell that would knock an Erumpent of its feet. Dana, on the other hand, likes teasing Dylan by calling him "kiddo". They're only one year apart but that doesn't stop her reminding him she's older. Not ever.

Okay, let’s give you something to write about this valentines!
48 and 34 for Lizion
46 and 33 for Avarlie
32 and 38 for Dylanielle
4 for Seliot and Bradlyn
So many brilliant questions (even though I'm one day late, oops!) Let's get into this 💛
34. How do their past relationships affect them?
They made Orion realise that some things are too special to occur twice in life. They made Lizzie shy away from anything she feels restrains her or clips her wings.
48. What was their biggest fight about?
Deflection, cowardice, fatalism and decisions made in the spur of the moment.
33. Is their relationship healthy? Why/why not?
All in all, I'd say yes. There are things Ava keeps from Charlie she really shouldn't have and seal their immediate fate, but considering what she went through, I wouldn't classify that as unhealthy in the classic sense. When they meet again they aren't in a relationship at all and even so, they are mostly honest with each other. Though not in a nice way but I have hopes they'll come around.
46. What made them fall in love?
Charlie makes Ava softer and loosens her up, makes her have more fun and laugh. Ava helps Charlie focus and reassures him in his wish to not live after pattern he felt like was laid out for/expected of him.
32. What are their opinions on children?
Dana can't imagine not having a family when she feels ready for it. Dylan is the same, but a lot more chill about it. What's gonna happen is gonna happen.
38. Who do they turn to when their relationship has problems?
Depending on who her problems are with, Dana turns either to her mum or her godmother. If she feels like she doesn't want to talk about it with either of them, Nova, Scarlett and Saffron always haven an open ear for her (@kc-and-co @whatwouldvalerydo @the-al-chemist).
Dylan typically deals with stuff on his own, but if he's run into a dead end, he usually goes to either of his father for advice.
4. How do their families feel?
Selene & Eliot
Eliot belongs to @kc-and-co
Selene's parents never knew about Eliot, neither when they were at school nor later. They were appalled at Selene not wanting to reveal who Caitlin's father was, but then again, she had always been more of a disappointment. Selene's grandparents offered her comfort but sadly no drink when the relationship broke apart (both times). Uncle Mortimer and Ethel Hexley (@the-al-chemist) had to be physically restrained from violence - one successfully, one unsuccessfully.
Eliot's brother Oliver Gerard was sad to see the relationship fall apart in the first place and even more so the second time around since Selene had been his friend and team member before she and Eliot had even met. Naturally, he did offer the much needed comfort (and cure from Ethel's revenge).
Carolyn & Brady
Bradford belongs to @kc-and-co
Seeing as Carolyn and Bradford were promised to each other by their parents before they had even met, they naturally were very enthusiastic about their not-yet relationship and even more so when the two of them actually started to get romantically involved. When Bradford Pendleton III finally learned that Carolyn was anything but the trophy wife he had wished for his son he was furious, but his influence over Brady had ended a long time ago. Carolyn's parents weren't too enthusiastic about Brady's rebellion and plans as an aspiring artist but seeing the success and determination with which Caro made a name of her own in the potion-making they shrugged it off. Every family needs an eccentric, after all.

Favourite of your ships…. How do I choose?!
Lizzie and Orion are too obvious. Ava and Charlie are too sad. Ditto Selene and Eliot.
I have to go with Dylanielle. Because they are just so REAL, omg. And Dylan needs someone who won’t bully him ALL the time.
However, honourable mentions go to:
Selene and Alan
Henry and a good book
Mina and a hoover
Reva and her damn self
Rockstar!Lizzie and Tequila.
Ava and Charlie not even I know if they'll come out on top or not. I genuinely don't know. Selene and Eliot, sadly, didn't.
Dylanielle are just... I adore them. They make me laugh and pick me up whenever I feel down. They understand and misunderstand each other at the same time of a level every couple who's been together for a while can relate to, and it's just so much fun.
I'm laughing way too hard at all of the honourable mentions. Alan is the third musketeer to Sethel, we all feel Henry deeply, Mina would have loved herself a Roomba (the perfect pet for her). Reva needed to learn to love and accept herself for real and I'm glad she did.
Rockstar!Lizzie and Tequila is the disaster ship of all disaster ships - doomed from the beginning but too irresistible.

Songs: For Henry and for Selene, for Avarlie and for Dylanielle
Henry: Hamilton Cast - Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story
Let me tell you what I wish I'd known When I was young and dreamed of glory You have no control: Who lives Who dies Who tells your story?
Haha, I think you're gonna like this one. This was Henry's first song on his playlist and I think the whole message of this song sums him up so well. He is a storyteller, and he becomes a ghost because he can't let go and doesn't want the stories of both his life and the lives of the ones he loved to be forgotten. He wants to be the one who tells the story.
Selene: Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams
You'll see me in hindsight Tangled up with you all night Burnin' it down Someday, when you leave me I bet these memories Follow you around
Is there any Taylor Swift song more Selene and Eliot (@kc-and-co)? No, I don't think so. If you listen to the song, and watch the video as well, it's pretty self-explanatory, I guess.
Avarlie: Nightwish - Crimson Tide, Deep Blue Sea
This song actually has no lyrics and is Nightwish's take on the theme to the movie Crimson Tide. It's on their playlist because it's the song that gave my Pirate AU mini series its name.
Dylanielle: One Direction - One Thing
I've tried playing it cool But when I'm looking at you I can't ever be brave 'Cause you make my heart race
Dylan and Dana are just my ultimate fluff happy place and thus, they deserve all the fluff and happy music in this world. This is a song that always puts me in a good mood and makes me smile, much like they do.
