my funeral song carries me along walking past the gravestones of everything i've lost onlookers think it's a hopeless scene but better dreams replace what i've dreamt before i find comfort in strange things like static on the radio & running in the rain i look back at what my life has been i can laugh at my own misfortune my tears water the garden flowers bloom next to every memorial stone what's given is sometimes taken i don't pretend to be okay for the sake of false comfort i no longer hide in a cave or ignore my past mistakes i can't regain the time i forfeited away i can't expect an olive branch when i never planted a tree i can hear every conversation forever etched in my mind i wouldn't trade those years to escape the pain of being ripped apart emotions swept in like the ocean's tide watched as my world drifted apart they say i shouldn't have hope when disappointment is possible but the calluses don't bother me anymore the burial ground is ready for another let down & i'm always making room for more.

Your Honor. I always hear this word, referring to the judge who give verdict. For everyone is expected to give honor to him. Why? Is it for us to win the case, or we just want to give highest regards to someone in authority? But at times we do not receive what we want, justice. This time let us hear what the Bible says. King Solomon who refers everything to mean nothing, take a thought to self (Ecclesiastes 3:17). Is he asking God to put judgment to those people who persecute, hurt, or even those that do not obey him? Of course I do not know what he thinks. But this gave me a wider perspective about judgment. I thought of people who put burdens to my shoulder, to people who hurt me, to people who do not follow my instructions. Waiting for them to face God for judgment. And because my Lord knows everything they will face the final judgment. But because God is also transforming me, to be like Him (2 Corinthians 3:18). I thought in my heart, that I do not want someone to face or to be in eternal condemnation, but I want them to know Christ. Hence, I pray to God, to give me the power to share them the Gospel, and for them to respond or even act according to His will and not on how they treat me. My environment will change, and also their life. And this put me to a state of peacefulness. Thanks be to God.

A Time

There is always a time to weep and a time to laugh.

A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 NASB

Blessed be the name of the loving Heavenly Father in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Beloved brothers and sisters, greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We all know that time is precious. There is also a saying that the lost time is never found again. Our holy scriptures asks us to be wise and make the most use of our time. Since the days are evil, it is necessary for us to carefully walk in the righteousness of the Lord. 'Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. ' Ephesians 5:15-16 Trust in the Lord in all circumstances The subject verse says, there are times for weeping and times for laugh. And there are times for mourning and times for dancing. As the first verse from the same chapter of the Epistle says, there is an appointed time for everything. Every person whosoever has taken birth in this world shall go through all kinds of ordeals in his lifetime. Surely, life is not always a bed of roses. On the other hand, It is neither immune to hardships. But the quality of life we live in all circumstances does matter. Even one is weeping or mourning, trust in the Almighty God should never waver. Moreover, a true child of God shall always bring glory to the Lord by overcoming through praise and worship. Therefore brethren, let us set our sight upon the Lord and on those things that are unseen and everlasting. Even the trials and tribulations shall not hinder our trust on the Lord. Furthermore, our trust shall increase, for the Lord our God shall direct our steps. In Jesus' matchless name let our goal be to reach the eternal kingdom.
