Rodrik Forrester was the firstborn son of Lord Gregor Forrester, heir to Ironrath, and a warrior forged in the fires of the North. Trained from youth to lead, he was a commander of the Forrester cavalry during the War of the Five Kings. At the Red Wedding, he was presumed dead—crushed beneath a horse, his body broken and discarded among the fallen.

But Rodrik did not die.

He clawed his way back from the brink, battered and maimed, returning to Ironrath with shattered legs and a will unbroken. His face was scarred. His gait was slow. But his presence—that remained. When his younger brother Ethan was murdered by Ramsay Snow, Rodrik took up the mantle of Lord. Not because he was ready. Because someone had to.

He faced House Whitehill, a rival family emboldened by the Boltons. He endured humiliation, beatings, and betrayal. Gryff Whitehill mocked him. Ludd Whitehill threatened him. But Rodrik stood. Again and again. Even when his bones ached and his people doubted, he stood.

He was not just a lord. He was a symbol.

He fought to protect his siblings—Talia, Ryon, Mira. He tried to forge alliances, to marry Elaena Glenmore, to rally the North Grove. And when the final battle came, he led the charge. Whether he lived or died depends on the choices made—but in every telling, Rodrik faced the end with sword in hand and fire in his heart.

Here's my selection for ttgot casting.. I couldn't make up my mind for Rodrik hence it could be James McAvoy or Luke Evans, either make a good Rodrik in my opinion :)

I can't remove duplicates from House Rosemark on FamilyEcho (or I'm stupid), but I still uploaded the link. And I have a problem.

As you can guess, Jory Rosemark usurped Winter Garden from his nephew (Trebor was only an infant when Cregan was executed and Jory was his regent. In short). That is why Jory married his second wife- he needed powerful allies. At first, I choose House Lannett, because they are distant kin to House Lannister. But now I think that wife from House Frey or House Manderly would make more sense. But which one should I choose?

Btw. As you see, Trebor later matrilineally married the heir of Rillwater Crossing. That why I give up "Dyanna x one of Lord's Glenmore sons" ship and I came with Waymar and one of Lord's Glenmore daughters marriage. Which- according to my notes- will be around 16-18 years old. And I don't like this :(

TTGOT S2AU: What happened after 8x06, and the future:

Men of House Forrester fought bravely during the Battle of Ice and Fire. For their undying loyalty to the Starks even under the Boltons’ rule they were awarded greater tracts of land by Queen Sansa I Stark, including (but not limited to) the old lands of House Degore at the request of Talia Forrester.

Lord Rodrik and Lady Elaena issued five children between 302 and 320AL; Harrold, Elisabeth, Ashlynn, Godric and Mira.

Talia Forrester founded a cadet branch at the old Degore keep, the Wolf’s Cradle, and issued two children with her husband Harlen Hardy, a Crownlands squire; twins Elbert and Grayce.

Ryon Forrester fathered a trueborn son after eloping with Roslin Snow. The two conspired to afford their son a decent life and assigned him the name Renard Birch, his surname reflecting a tree with white bark as tribute to both their houses.

Gared Tuttle, along with allies he had collected during his journey, oversaw the Whitehill-Forrester Ironwood venture and in his later years helped rebuilt Tuttle into a larger settlement for those displaced.

Though he swore fealty to both Jon Snow and Sansa Stark, Torrhen Whitehill was threatened with great repercussion on his house if he made a single wrong move in future, though it was kept in mind that he had neglected to aid House Bolton during the Battle of the Bastards which spared him from execution.

Torrhen and his wife Greta bore three more children in addition to Roslin and Karl; twins Warrick and Elyse, and Meredyth “Merry” Whitehill.

Gwyn still refused offers of marriage.

Gryff remained at the Wall despite its partial destruction, working to become more temperate following the death of mentor Astor Greyson. He finally began to command true respect as he matured at Castle Black, remaining there until he grew old and grey. He would occasionally be visited by his grandnieces and nephews, specifically Roslin and Warrick.

Following the truce between the Forresters and Whitehills, Lord Nestor became unstable with thoughts of injustice and left Timberwatch before winter hit its peak. He would be found dead days later, leaving his grandson Hugar Greyson as Lord.

With his wife Dacey Holt, Hugar fathered three children; Saera, Robert and Rosey. In contrast to his grandfather, he was regarded as a kind Lord of honorable standing.

Oriele Greyson was wed to Tobas Brownbarrow. Though their marriage was childless and free of true romance, the two of them proved somewhat beneficial to each other emotionally.

Aaren Greyson and Maester Ebbert continued their love affair, as did Rhaesa Greyson and Emely Elliver.

Jonah Greyson returned to Timberwatch at the behest of Hugar.

Lord Davyn Bole was wed to Alora Wicke at the behest of Torrhen Whitehill. Despite his protests, he fathered two children - Marcella and Samwell.

Winnie Bole and Lyanna Ashwood took it upon themselves to care for abandoned smallfolk boy, Eli.

Lord Marcyn wed Sanira Woods and fathered four children; his heir Edwyn, and triplets Hugo, Leslyn and Lyra.

Elinor Elliver wed Lord Edvard Norton of Sentinel Crest.

As for Houses Glenmore and Brownbarrow..? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see.
