In the 50s and 60s, women wore fur coats very often, as you can see from these women on Perry Mason. They were gorgeous coats that felt great and kept the person very warm and toasty. I am glad that we don't wear fur coats as much as we used to because the animals from which they came from deserve to wear them more than we do. And they deserve to live. I miss the hats that women wore back then, but not the fur coats. So many people wore great hats daily. It looked great, in my humble opinion. I think that it would be nice if both men and women wore more hats as was common in the past. The women looked elegant and sophisticated. The men in hats looked very handsome and dashing. I love hats. Can you tell? 😁 I mostly wear t shirts and jeans, but when I get the chance to dress up, I like to don a chapeau!!
