hi there robin im glad to hear uve been havin a good day today!! when thinking abt ur story n characters, what genre(s) do u feel like they would best fit into?

thank you! i actually managed to get some writing done today so i’m in a pretty good mood, haha. take that, writer’s block.

but as for your question, a majority of my characters are associated with the fantasy genre - with a few accepts like apollo, for example, would suit murder-mystery given the fact he’s a detective and all. fantasy is just a very fun genre to write for, and allows for more creativity than others do. i mean, world-building is basically my favorite past-time.

WOOF THEY WERE BAD LOL. she was raised by a cultlike church to embody their god as closely as possible (and unknowing to her they were planning on making her become a human vessel for said god against both of their wills). the church instilled a lot of shitty ideas in her that she’s still trying to get over

i think she’d like a dog!! she’s never had a pet before

idk if this counts as a “habit” but she’s sort of judgmental as well as very quick to judge, and she can be stubborn to a fault

emmett?

- he shops at hot topic in the year of 2019 and if that doesn’t shed some light on what his personality is like then, well (i also wanted to tease him and say that he listens to mcr in 2019 as well but... i do too. i would just be insulting myself) 

- while there’s a little fragment of personality ingrained within all of my ocs, emmett has the unfortunate burden of carrying all of my mental health issues DGLDGSKAJ except he is an extremely negative person and has already given up on getting better a long, long time ago... that isn’t to reflect my own situation, of course, since he’s still his own character and his problems are different than my own.

- emmett is a freelance hacker that works primarily for a secret agency operated by my boyfriend’s oc, lance, but he’ll also offer his genius to any person or organization willing to pay him greatly. though emmett has a bad habit of betraying his former clients by divulging precious information that could potentially destroy their livelihoods... but he only does that if he finds out they’re not a great person. chaotic good. 

- emmett was my first trans character, actually! specifically, he’s a bisexual trans guy :0 

- he’s 5′10″ and often mocks his incredibly small boyfriend, garin, about it. garin then proceeds to go for the knees. 

- emmett has the most amount of piercings out of all my characters. with several in both of his ears, snake bites, on his upper back, tongue.... and yet he’s too much of a wimp to even consider getting a tattoo. 

- his signature green beanie was the first gift emmett has ever truly received and he’s refused to part with it ever since. a gift from his dear boyfriend, no less! so it holds a lot of sentimental value to him... and the fact that his hair would be an utter disaster if he didn’t keep it on. 

- embarrasingly enough, i originally got my inspiration for emmett from a character in the anime “durarara” - specifically, izaya.... there are still plenty of similarities between the two - but the major difference now is that emmett isn’t a downright loathsome human being... just... misunderstood, really. and he finds it difficult to convey his emotions as a result of the abuse he succumbed to in the past, making him come off as an unempathetic and cold. while izaya is just a straight-up ass for absolutely no reason DGFGCKSJKAJ 

- emmett absolutely refuses to acknowledge the fact that he actually has friends despite viewing himself as the most disgusting thing to walk the earth... but unfortunately xavier will not respect his wishes and forces him to open up regardless. their friendship is... well, it’s more like a rivalry since they have many opposing viewpoints and their personalities are the EXACT opposite from one another, but you could still claim that they’re fairly close... closer than emmett would care to admit. 

“hi i’m xavier and welcome to my minecraft let’s play” *plants TNT in emmett’s house and blows it up while emmett screams in horror because all of his hard work and effort has been destroyed*

- he has several pet rats. very suiting for his character but he’s also a very loving father to them and it’s adorable, to be honest.
