Idk where I was going with it, but it was a random dream I had the other weekend 😅

Omg I love that idea! I always headcanon Law as a total coffee lover (black, no sugar). So something’s already brewing (ba-dum tss) in my mind. Not sure when I’ll post it since it might end up being a bit on the longer side, but I’m definitely going to write it! Just wanted to let you know to stay tuned. I really hope it turns out to your liking.

Not gonna lie, I do love to ramble a lot. Not necessarily about myself, but just in general. So yeah, be prepared for long answers, lol.

4. a story idea you haven’t written yet

I have so many! Like too many. It's a blessing and a damn curse at the same time. I wish I could just pull them straight from my head and put them fully on paper, instead of having to write them down and then work to make them actually good. I'm going to disregard one-shots for now to spare you at least a little of the madness that is my brain (but I do have like twenty of those at the moment too 🙊).

So, only for longer fics, I have these (a bit of cheating, some of them might have a little bit written already, just small pieces, but not the whole story).

One Piece

Ace:

Canonverse – This one excites me the most, but it’s also the hardest to write. It focuses on Ace and a Marine’s daughter. College AU – He’s kind of a player, but really he just doesn’t think he deserves something good :( and he accidentally messes up his chances with the reader, so he has to redeem himself. High School AU – Ace asks the reader to tutor him; it's all super fluffy. Coffee Shop AU – (sort of) Ace works with the reader and takes on a father-figure role for a 5-year-old Luffy. Mentor Ace AU – Ace as a mentor for troubled kids. I wrote a blurb for it, but I think it could become a good full story.

Law:

Canonverse – Law x member of the Heart Pirates. Canonverse – Reader loses their memory. Canonverse – Law x Straw Hat who was part of the Heart Pirates before (might just make it a collection of short stories rather than a fully fleshed-out fic, though). A lot more stories for Polar Tang Chronicles (like six right now). College AU – He meets the reader through Bepo, who studies with Nami, and they kind of form a study group.

Sabo:

Canonverse – Ace’s ex-lover joins the Revolutionary Army.

Zoro:

Canonverse – He's still a pirate hunter, the reader is a pirate, and then she eventually joins the Straw Hats.

Love and Deepspace

Zayne:

Royal AU – The reader is a princess, and he is her doctor. College AU – The reader is a librarian, and both are still in college.

Sylus:

Kind of Canonverse – The reader is MC’s best friend, and Sylus can’t fathom how he’s falling for someone who isn’t the one he was waiting for.

Genshin Impact: Kind of a follow-up to a small one-shot I wrote about Kazuha having to leave the reader as he flees, then they reunite, and so on.

Also I have a whole story in my mind for Sebastian from Stardew Valley x Farmer

Yeah, it’s already getting too long… 😅

12. a trope you’re really into right now

Not necessarily right now, but pretty much all the time, it’s friends-to-lovers and slow burn. Right now, I guess it would be the roommates trope, since I wrote one story about it and I’m currently writing another.

19. the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

The most interesting one might be what I’m researching right now — various flowers and plants and their medical uses (for that fic with Law x Heart Pirates Reader, and it’ll also be helpful for the one with Zayne). I’m definitely also learning a lot about ships while writing for One Piece overall. Oh, and yesterday I learned how to play poker.

Saw your post about getting a request and figured I would throw one out! I really want to read some good hurt/comfort between reader and Zayne. I feel like they would argue about him working all the time (since he's a doctor) and some hurtful stuff would be said, but they would work it out later. I'm such a sucker for these kinds of stories 💖

Also you inspired me to revisit some rough drafts of mine! I am so afraid of posting my stories, but maybe I will give it a shot!!

I love this request—angst with a side of healing? Say less 😌 I’m already picturing the argument, the things they don’t mean but say anyway… Ugh. Yes. This is going on the list for sure, so stay tuned. It will be written, hopefully sooner rather than later. I really hope it turns out to your liking when it’s up.

And seriously, I’m so honored to be even a little bit of inspiration to you. That means the world. I completely get how terrifying it can feel to post your work. I hid mine for years, and I still have those “what if this is terrible?” moments. But Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is craft. Every story, every scene, every rough little brain-dump brings you one step closer to finding your voice.

Sharing your work can be a huge part of that growth. I know it was for me. I started posting thinking no one would care, and suddenly, I found people connecting with things I almost didn’t share.  And weirdly enough, it made me want to take my stories more seriously, like actually revising them instead of letting them live as half-formed ideas in a doc somewhere.

So yes—write for you, always. But if you feel even a tiny spark to share, I genuinely hope you follow it. Your stories deserve to be out there, and I’ll be cheering you on. You've got this. 💕

Hey! Thanks so much for the message <3 Honestly, I totally forgot I even reposted that. But I’m always more than happy to ramble, so…

2. Do you prefer oneshots or longfics? Oneshots, for sure. They’re way less time-consuming and easier to manage overall. With a one-shot, I can focus on a single moment, emotion, or idea without stressing about plot consistency, pacing, or character arcs stretched over multiple chapters. Writing a 4k one-shot is way easier and faster for me than trying to complete a 2k chapter.

4. Do you save your “cut scenes” from your fics? (Want to share one?) It depends. I usually work in a single draft, so when I make edits, I often end up losing stuff. But if it’s a longer piece, or there’s a sentence I really like and think I might reuse later, I’ll toss it into a folder—no joke, the folder is literally called “Random Crap Collection.”

Recent cutouts: He took another swig from his bottle, feeling the warmth spread through him. But it didn’t numb the ache inside, didn’t drown the fear that had been clawing at him for so long. The more he drank, the more confused he became. Why were you so easy to love? Why were you the one thing that made him feel like he wasn’t just a broken man, but someone who could be whole?

And a small piece of dialogue I have to use somewhere: “You have no idea how much I long to lie beside you and let our emotions take over. To let them carry us wherever they want.”

12. Have you ever made a moodboard for a fic? (Do you want to share it?) I don’t really make moodboards, but for every longer project, I do put together a super simple book cover and a Spotify playlist. Although I am tempted to do a moodboard now…

19. Do you work on multiple fics at once, or only one at a time? I’d burn out fast if I focused on just one. There’s always a lot going on—tons of documents and even more random notes on my phone. When inspiration hits, I write, even if it’s just a few sentences for something I thought of months ago and don’t plan to dive into anytime soon. Sometimes it’s just a single sentence, a piece of dialogue, or an idea for a new fic that randomly pops into my head.

There’s usually one fic that gets most of my attention (right now it’s Tangled Lives), but I’m always bouncing between several others depending on the mood.

22. What is one of your favorite tropes to write? Friends to lovers! Nothing hits quite like the slow burn and the moment of realization. I will never be normal about it.

25. Is there a scene you are dreading writing? (Want to share what it is?) Action scenes. I really want to focus more on canon-related stuff—for One Piece and Love and Deepspace—and for that, I need to figure out how to write good fight scenes. I’ve tried, and it was rough. I’m not even being self-deprecating. It just genuinely wasn’t good…

38. Fic idea you're most excited to get to? I’m always excited about my fics. Writing brings me joy (and pain and gritted teeth, hair-pulling, etc., but let’s ignore that).

Definitely the canon-related ones. They're the hardest to write, which is why I started with modern AUs for my longfics.

If I had to pick one right now, I guess it would be a story about Ace from One Piece and the Marine’s daughter. I’ve been working on it slowly for a while, and it’s still missing a big chunk in the middle. I struggle with it a lot, and part of me dreads diving fully in because I haven’t decided whether to stick with the canon ending. I’m leaning toward yes now… and I just know people (myself included, honestly) are going to hate it yet, it would be so good.

Also, I totally get you. I’m incredibly clumsy too — dropping my phone multiple times a day, tripping over nothing, spilling drinks on myself, and getting hurt in the most random ways.
