I glanced in all directions to make sure the apron-wearing upperclassman wasn't present in any corner of the shop. At the very least, it looked like she wasn't anywhere I could see. Either she's hiding or her part-time job just changed shifts. I think Emiri is definitely somewhere. This being another meeting where everyone has gathered for a clash, I imagine she definitely wouldn’t miss out on it.

This way is good too. Having Kimidori-san's implausible smile as part of the decor of the room was definitely better than having Asakura make an appearance. Comparing the two was like comparing a flashbang grenade with an anti-tank missile. As long as Asakura doesn't reach the point of fishing out a life-threatening weapon and charging in my direction, since the depth of the upperclassman's calculations may be even deeper than that of my old schoolmate, I don't want to accidentally cause the coffee shop to turn into a battlefield for aliens.

the section before this was a perfect showcase of panicking, racing thoughts and i appreciate it a lot. its fun seeing just where Kyon's thoughts go when he's anxious. bit also that comparison for kimidori and asakura...

Haruhi Suzumiya Series Character Popularity Vote Result Arrives!　

    In commemoration of the release of the long-awaited 12th volume of Nagaru Tanigawa's Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series, Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokkan / The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya, KADOKAWA held "The General Election of Haruhi Suzumiya," an online voting project to determine the popularity of characters in the series from November 10 to November 30, 2020.

  From a total of 26 characters, fans could vote for one character only once a day between 00:00 and 23:59, and the ranking is determined by the order of the most points earned (10 points for one vote).
