Six of the main characters of my original series As Seen on TV! I have these pieces on my other blog, but have changed some of the character names (maybe I should change the ones there too).
I’ll have your know that Blair and Emmett are not related to James P. Sullivan (even though he’s one of my fave Pixar characters); I actually settled on the name because I imagined Blair to be voiced by Nicole Sullivan (whom you may know as Shego from Kim Possible, Mira Nova from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Marlene from The Penguins of Madagascar)
As stated before, some characters have undergone name changes. Blair used to be “Kurumi”, Emmett used to be “Ryouta”, and Kaori Murasaki used to be “Nadeshiko Yamato” (I chose to use that name for a comedy skit she does instead).
Anyway, a quick run-through of these characters:
Blair: Orange-haired “every-girl” protagonist who is super stylish, but loves reading shoujo manga as opposed to watching the typical dramas such as Pretty Little Liars. Likes fashions with lots of gold.
Emmett: Blair’s onii-chan (older brother) who aspires to be the next host of the Tonight Show. Is the one who creates the idea for the sketch comedy show he and his friends do, and usually plays antagonists and villains.
Kaori: Kyoto-born Yamato Nadeshiko-type girl who excels at cooking and cleaning and is obsessed with the American 1950s. Always smiling, usually quiet, but very poised and graceful.
Tallulah: Harajuku-born fashionista with a flair for all things colorful, pastel flowery, cute, childlike, and feminine. Extremely innocent and naïve; has a room decorated with flowers, plushies, and colorful kokeshi dolls.
Maylin: Tomboy-ish athlete with an intense competitive streak in aikido and swimming, but a genuinely funny and likeable girl. Also Tallulah’s bestie.
Theodore: Claims to be long-lost son of Angela Petrelli from Heroes, sent to live with a family of clowns in order not to tarnish the Petrelli name due to his clumsy flying (possibly a chuunibyou). Also a major goofball.
