Saw the new MythicalSausage episode and like

YES I LOVE IT AND YO THE ANIMATION IS SO COOL!!

But also I'm sitting here thinking Hermes mightve been shooting that lightning bolt thinking he was going to kill a person. A person who he, for a time, thought was his father. Thinking that he had to defend himself, defend his father, from an imposter. A child having to aim to potentially kill to save his home

Basically all I'm thinking of the angst associated with that. No way that boy got out of the Brautwurst situation without trauma. Hermes deserves all the hugs

Yeah Hermes shoulda looked older than he did in last appearance. Beandog's a teenager as the oldest, and Hermes is a tween but his younger siblings are sprouting right past him anyways. I like to imagine that Beandog takes an interest in the medical science work Doc and Zed are doing, but also they both scare them so hasn't really asked as much as they would like to. The other three mostly still just help out on the farm. Tom is the only one that regularly asks about the ranchers still.

I had a very fun idea of Hermes in a more 'official' god form after watching tremendous amounts of Epic the Musical animatics, so here he is!!!

I feel like I should've done more with him, but oh well, I love him very much <333
