The whole situation leaves Lullaby a bit baffled, it even takes him a while to answer, the door long closed. "You... too, Wren", he says before slowly returning to repairing and cleaning his weapon.

So we left off with just needing to stuff the board with ram into the case then check clearance with the cooler to see if there is room to potentially double up the fans.

Basically test success. There seems to be more than enough room to do this if desired.

The only potential issue maybe mounting screws.. the smol ones the cooler came with surprising do work despite my previous concerns. But those only let you mount the AiO as I have now.. not with more fans.

So either the kit o fans I get needs to have long screws or I'll need to source my own.. still this is goods. Solvable things.

Now to take it apart and put things back lol.

let's start off easy: if what mike's describing to el is meant to be romantic feelings, we know what he's saying isn't true. we've seen how he is with will. he has felt romantic feelings like that before, and he's not stupid enough to not realise that. so what he's talking about isn't romance

el and mike are friends. best friends. which we knew already, but it's still adorable

something's making mike feel like he's going crazy again. not girlfriends. not boyfriends. something else

remember the crazy together scene? where will felt like he was going crazy because of his connection to the upside down which eventually built up into full scale possession?

as much as i love will, he's not hearing mike. not beyond the surface. that's why it's so easy for people to write mike off as a shallow, selfish jerk when we're seeing him from will's point of view. el's the one listening

do you see that giant, bright red box of gauze pads behind mike? the one that lines up pretty perfectly with the ominously approaching jaws poster in will's room?

vecna's trying to make it a slow burn so that he can hurt everyone more. so they can beat themselves up for not noticing something was wrong with mike sooner

mike's trying to rip off the band aid. he's trying to tell them something's wrong with him. he's trying to tell them he is lost right now

he's trying to get past the love triangle cover that's done such a good job of hiding the real problem

el's relationship to mike, her intelligence, instincts, and how much he's tried to warn her lets her see through it too, by the end of season 4. she's finally hearing mike's SOS

what's this? a possession theory post where mike's romantic subplots matter? i thought the day would never come

the contrast between byler and romantic mileven is so important to understanding what mike is actually trying to say

he doesn't let himself be weird and possessive about el once he actually starts thinking about it, because that's not the kind of thing that fits with their relationship, but he does let himself be selfish about will

that's genuinely behaviour that's stemming from the root of romantic feelings, like we're supposed to believe is what was going on with el in season 3, except mike himself told us that that's stupid and not him

that isn't what's happening in his relationship with el. mike doesn't want to hide el away forever. mike wouldn't get mad when she had other friends. the anger and jealousy weren't mike's feelings, they were vecna's. because his plan to isolate el and keep her easy to manipulate was falling apart
