the room filled with the little tap sounds of rain falling on the roof of your house. they were gentle enough to put you to sleep yet you kept your eyes open, staring straight ahead through your window. you weren’t sure what you were looking at, blanking out fully.

you hugged your knees tightly to your chest, your chin resting on top. your conversation with jungwon had ended minutes ago and now, either of you weren’t quite sure what to talk about now since for the past few days, you had shared all your personal stories from when you two were further apart.

in your part, maybe not everything.

you focused on your breathing, taking note of how deep you inhaled and exhaled, how calm you felt with merely the presence of your best friend beside you. you were glad he was here, you really were, but for some reasons, a part of you was ashamed to admit it.

maybe it was because it hadn’t been that long when you two weren’t together, and you already missed him a lot. you missed your facetime calls before heading to bed, you missed his baby powder and men’s cologne scent whenever you shared a hug, you missed his laugh, his smile that never failed to make you smile as well. you missed his voice that sang you to sleep when you had a hard time doing so.

in short, you missed everything about him. you missed your best friend.

and in the midst of missing him these past few months, it had only occured to you a couple days back that you- no! you definitely did not catch feelings, well, at least that’s what you told and forced yourself to believe.

after that realization, had it not been him surprising you that he’s back when you went home from an exhausting day of school, you would’ve never come up to that conclusion.

yet here you were, heart skipping a beat in your chest upon remembering the memory.

“y/n?”

jungwon’s voice snaps you back to reality, blinking twice before turning your head to him, resting your temple on your knees. for some reasons, you chose not to reply. you didn’t watch to catch yourself slipping in front of him, the stuttering would leave him confused if you spoke, you really didn’t want that.

you hummed in reply, seeing him stare at you. his eyes bore deeply into yours, and you found yourself looking away. ever since he came back, it was so hard for you to look him straight in the eyes. ever since his return, you couldn’t look at him the same way.

the cause? your feelings.

“what?” you spoke out, voice cracking a little. you feel your ears heat up in embarrassment when you noticed. now why were you embarrassed around someone you’d known for years? you really didn’t want to think about it again, not with jungwon around.

jungwon pressed his lips together, sitting closer next to you on the bed. his eyes never left your face, and you contemplated on wiping it, maybe you had something on there that didn’t look right.

“you look beautiful.” he replies, not looking away when those three words left his mouth. your eyes widened at his words, and you feel them watering all of a sudden. “h-huh?”

“i’m sorry, maybe i’m not used to it or something, i mean- it’s been a while since we last saw each other, right?” he tries to laugh it off, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. “i don’t know what’s wrong with me, you look the same like you always do but…”

you wait for him to finish his sentence, eager to hear what he had to say. you desperately try to ignore the loud hammering in your chest, one hand gripping the sheets of your bed.

“i just wanted to tell you, you know? i just felt like i had to let you know that i find you, beautiful.” jungwon finishes, taking in a deep breath and out.

he searches your face for any reaction but you just sat there, stunned at what he just confessed. it’s not like anyone hasn’t called you beautiful before, it felt different now that it was jungwon that you’re hearing it from.

“oh…” you say, feeling your cheeks heat up. thinking of other words to say to somewhat break the growing tension in the room, you came up with, “you really think so? i don’t think you’ve ever called me that before.”

jungwon chuckles, “seriously? what a shame, really. i can’t believe i’m only letting you know now.” he looks at you again, “but yes, i do think so- no, not only think, i know so. is that weird?”

you pretend to think, “of course not! i guess i’m just not used to hearing it from you. it feels different.”

“different? how so?”

you were surprised at his follow up question, looking back at the window in front of you. nonetheless, you answered him. “hearing you call me that makes me feel like i’m actually beautiful.”

silence filled the air and you swore you saw jungwon freeze from the corner of your eye. “coming from my family members, a few of my other friends, it’s like a normal thing to tell the other to make them feel better,” you continued, “so whenever someone tells me i’m beautiful, i can feel that they just had to say it, for the sake of me to not feel bad for myself, not that they need to.”

“for some reasons, coming from you…” feeling brave, you turn to look at him. “i actually feel pretty.”

it was your turn to search jungwon’s face for his reaction. he stayed sat there next to you, eyes blinking, like he was registering what you had just said in his mind.

jungwon will never catch up to you, he’ll never get it from your point of view, won’t know where you were coming from, and you were fine with that. it was better that way, at least for you.

you give him a smile, feeling your heart swell with joy when jungwon smiled back at you. you could tell he was genuine, with the way his eyes became crescents and his dimples showed when he did.

you had never been more confused in your life than you are right now when you catch jungwon grow shy all of a sudden. you didn’t want to assume, because the last time you did, you got hurt. well, you couldn’t help it now, can you? because you wanted your assumption to be real.

you hoped what you witnessed was an indication of what your heart deeply desired: your feelings for your best friend being reciprocated.

“i’m glad you feel that way, y/n. i really do find you beautiful, you truly are. i’m sorry if others make you feel like you’re not, not that their opinions matter.”

nodding at him, you and jungwon turn to look at the rain through your window in a comfortable silence.

you smiled to yourself, clinging tightly onto the hope that maybe this time, things would turn out differently, in a good way between your best friend that you secretly liked.

and you were too busy to notice that while you were staring out the window, jungwon turned to look at you, with the fondest of a smile on his face.

if only you knew how beautiful you actually were because jungwon never wanted to look away.

Jungwon had never been one to feel possessive but there were moments when he just couldn’t help himself. How could he when he could see you just a few feet away from him getting close to Jake as you helped him put contact lenses in. Jungwon knew it wasn’t a big deal - Jake struggled with contacts so it made sense for a stylist to help him out, but seeing your face so close to Jake’s drove him crazy.

“Almost got it… just stay still…” you mumbled under your breath as you worked. When it was done, Jake thanked you and went to get a snack from the table. You turned around and made eye contact with Jungwon, noting his late change of expression when you faced him. Unfortunately for him, you noticed the jealousy before he could mask it with a smile.

“It’s time for the final shoot, should we do youngest to oldest?” Their manager suggested, ushering the boys out to the set. You followed quietly joining the other stylists on set.

“Can someone fix Jungwon’s hair?” The manager called. Upon hearing your boyfriend’s name, you jumped up and walked onto the set, pulling a comb out of your work belt.

“Not sure what I’m meant to be fixing, you already look gorgeous,” you whispered as you did your job. Jungwon blushed, averting his eyes. In a situation where you were so close to him, he would usually put his arms around you and hold you even closer but he couldn’t do that in front of these people.

“Cat got your tongue sweetheart?“

“W-what am I meant to say?“ Jungwon mumbled.

“A simple thank you for the compliment maybe,” you muttered, making sure no one could hear you. “Meet me by the store room when you’re done.”

You took a few steps away from him and announced that you were done before quickly running off set to rejoin your colleagues.

As the shoot began, you couldn’t take your eyes off Jungwon. He posed elegantly, the lighting showing off his perfect features. He had a deep, mysterious stare in each pose.

When the group photos were done, they began the solo shots, starting with Niki and going up. When it was Jungwon’s turn you wanted to stay and watch, but you were called to do something. When you finished you decided to go and wait by the store room for Jungwon to finish.

Jungwon finished his solo shoot and looked around, frowning when he couldn’t see your face. He then remembered what you told him and went to the meet up point.

“Hello…” he called. The corridor looked dim and scary, maybe y/n is pranking him.

Suddenly he felt someone grab his wrist and pull him into a corner. Before Jungwon could process, he was up against a wall, inches away from you.

“Did I scare you baby?” you chuckled, hands resting on his shoulders.

“Couldn’t you have picked a less haunted-looking area?”

“The more abandoned the better, right?” Jungown looked at you in confusion and you chuckled at his innocence.

“You looked so good in that photoshoot,” you whispered, hands leaving his shoulders and running down his torso. “So so good that I almost lost control over myself.”

Jungwon’s breath hitched when you reached his lower abdomen.

“Really?” He said but his voice came out as more of a squeak.

You hummed in response and decided to hover your hand lightly over his bulge. He whined quietly at the lack of proper contact, grabbing hold of your wrist and pressing your hand down over the bulge. It made you scoff.

“I’m being quite honest here, so… Wonnie, tell me why you couldn’t take your eyes off me either today,”

You snatched your hand away from his crotch area and waited for a response. Jungwon looked at you as he fought the urge to beg for your touch.

“You look pretty today too…” Jungwon mumbled.

“Is that all?”

“And… and I hate seeing you work on the other members,” he admitted with a pout.

“Ah so that’s why you were shooting daggers at Jake today,” You said with a laugh.

“It’s not funny,” He muttered.

“Well I think it’s cute. You want me to be only yours right?” You asked, placing your hand over his bulge again but this time in a more harsh manner. As you palmed him, you watched his expression change. “Answer me baby.”

“O-Only mine…” Jungwon moaned.

You leant forward and kissed him, the exchange being needy and sloppy. The sounds coming from Jungwon became more and more lewd as he stopped trying to keep quiet. He was lost in the pleasure he felt from simply grinding against your hand. He attempted to frantically undo the zipper of his pants but you smacked his hand away.

When the two of you went back to the dressing room, you were lucky that no-one was there. You got Jungwon a fresh outfit and then fixed his make-up before sending him on his way.

Rather than going back to the set, you headed to the closet room where all the different outfits and makeup equipment were. As you tidied Jungwon’s ruined clothes away in the laundry box and busied yourself with other things, your colleagues returned to the room.

“They don’t even need our help to look good, we hardly need to fix them up on sets like these,” one of them said as they entered the room.

“Hey, y/n where did you run off to?”

“Stomach ache, thought it was best to get a break in before we start cleaning up and like you said, we’re not really needed on these types of shoots,” you said with a smile.

“What happened here?” Someone said, looking inside the laundry box. She picked up the folded pants and looked at the stain, eyes widening. “H-how…”

Since they were beginning to wrap up the shoot, Jungwon wanted to wait for you so that you could travel back together. As he was approaching the door to the stylists’ room, he stopped in his tracks when he heard the conversation.

“Didn’t Jungwon wear this outfit?” another said, and he instantly knew what they were talking about, so he stayed to listen. “Y/n didn’t you see him putting this in the laundry box?”

“It was already there when I came in,” you shrug. Since his cover was blown, you thought you should at least make sure they didn’t find out that you were the one that made it happen. Since you were facing the door, you noticed feet shuffling in an attempt to stay hidden, knowing immediately that it was Jungwon.

“We were supposed to reuse this outfit! How could he be so dirty?”

“It’s not a big deal, we can dry-clean it,” you replied.

“He could have at least waited… so filthy,” she said with a disappointed tone as she placed it back in the box.

“Hey it’s not that easy,” one of your male colleagues spoke up.

While they began arguing about ‘decency’, you took that as your cue to leave, grabbing your bag and jacket and slipping out of the door.

“You said you’d take care of it!” Jungwon complained as you two walked out of the now emptier building.

“I did try to hide it, but they found the clothes. That’s not my fault,” You shrugged, entering your car.

Jungwon sat in the passenger seat, arms crossed and a pout on his lips. Before you could start the car, you glanced at him, scanning his figure.

“Does it really bother you?” you asked. Jungwon didn’t respond. “Or did it turn you on?” You questioned, leaning across to grab his seatbelt for him. You made your movements slow on purpose, relishing his panic and the pink flush on his cheeks.

You pressed the seatbelt in and laughed. “It did turn you on, didn’t it!” you exclaimed.

“No!”

“Then what’s happening down there,” you argued, pointing at the hardening bulge. Jungwon’s hands flew to cover it up but his attempt was futile.

“You liked hearing them call you dirty… filthy…” you said, playing with the buckle on his belt.

“Should we continue this at my place?” you asked, to which he nodded feverishly.

It's perhaps of his 'cast out energy' that you are attracted to him. Heeseung is for those who have met a lot of disappointments in their life and who have dealt with abandonment issues (either in relationships or family related)

People who love him are also usual leaders, they like to take care of things, and they enjoy having their own opinion and being heard. responsibilities are important because they believe having discipline makes you a reliable person

Just like him, they want to display courage, to show others that they are fearless and they only want to be prove the whole world they are capable of things

His biased people are very artistic in their own way, they are inspiring people and they are themselves inspired they also have strong energies and auras, and people often are intimidated by them. they want to protect Jay at all costs as well

These people are usually smart, people who bias Jay, are people that are usually study driven, they want good jobs, good future, they like to read and just to cultivate themselves with knowledge

Jake

He is in a way what you want to be, someone with a lot of friends, with big party energy, the type of person that you are attracted to. Jake is like the bad boy in the party that is chill and just looking at you through the crowded room and that's what you want for yourself, to live a life full of fun and excitement

most people have huge mommy or daddy issues, they have lack of self esteem in their life and huge trust issues as well and are attracted to Jake, not knowing they represent the repeated circle they try to avoid

Sunghoon

You guys are actually very good at working with other people and friends and even teamwork can be important to some. Just like sung hoon you want to show that you are versatile and capable

but most of you are also self limiting because you don't know your worth and you are always self second guessing yourself on everything and anything you do

For some reason you need him and feel that he is reliable, also you are the type of person that is always doing it all for everyone, your shoulders are full of burdens and weights since you want to show that you are a good and reliable persona yourself

Okay, you guys bias him because he represents the epitome of what you want to conquer. Loyalty and innocence. Basically most o you are dominating creatures, some of you are control freaks, always exercising control of your life because you are shit afraid of not being able to control anything around you

Like Sunoo, you might have experienced some kind of trauma and pain, something that keeps you from recovery and you end up resisting the change and not wanting to leave the pain because i's all you know

a lot of you are procrastinators and you find Sunoo reliable in that way

family can be quite important as well

a lot of you self work a lot, you always try to do things by yourself, and believe that Sunoo needs someone that would take care of him as well, a lot of hustling energy too.

Jungwon

There isn't really a pattern when it comes to people that bias Jungwon, mostly it shows that you guys can easily feel bored and you dwell on it easily and need Jungown's presence and energy in order to get something motivator

some of you to get easily stuck in situations and then instead of loving them you just ignore and again focus your attention on him. the paradox is that you are also a perfectionist in what you do which leads to a lot of frustration

Niki

We all know you get attached to him because he is a projection of your own childhood and of your own memories, you were a sad child that wishes nothing more for him, this child, to be happy the way you weren't

you have lived mostly through conflicts and fights, disagreements are all around you and Niki is like a save home, somewhere you can go to and feel child one again, feel protected and secured

You are also very passionate about things and when you cannot archive something or do something wrong, you get upset, angry and even frustrated very easily

heeseung- taking back sunday

i'm not super sure if the vibes are there, but just based off of the music he's recommended, it's obvious he doesn't listen to heavy/upbeat music. i can also see him enjoying angsty music every once in a while. sometimes he gives me "angsty teen recovering from a breakup with their first love" yk? "your lipstick, his collar, don't bother angel. i know exactly what goes on."

jay- the red jumpsuit apparatus

he strikes me as a lowkey romantic person. so when he's in the mood, i can definitely see him listening to them whilst looking dramatically out a window lmao! fuckk honestly this is just based on his vibes, i have no more input lol. "i'll be there for you through it all. even if saving you sends me to heaven." i'm crying it's so corny but so good, just like jay<3.

jake- we the kings

okay so... this is purely based on their song "check yes juilet" ; like don't they just give off the same vibes?? we the kings is also an emo staple but they're not known for being actually emo, yk. so, they go well because when i think of jake, i don't necessarily think of sad music. jake gives me "sneaking in your window at night" and just 2000s-teenage-romance-vibes in general. "they'll tear us apart if you give them the chance. don't sell your heart. don't say we're not meant to be. run baby, run, forever will be you and me".

sunghoon- black veil brides

okay, hear me out... i wouldn't have chosen bvb for sunghoon if not for "in the end". sunghoon strikes me as someone who really enjoys the classics. he's always choosing the old but good songs for karaoke, so i have a feeling he could bop to this. i feel like he would have some emo/metal classics in his workout playlist... "as you fade into the night, who will tell the story of your life?"

sunoo- paramore

it was lowkey difficult to think of a band for him, but alas, haley williams appears in my brain. honestly, if he's feeling a little angsty, he could totally enjoy their music. his voice would be so delicious covering their song "all i wanted". "it's not a walk in the park to love each other. but when our fingers interlock, can't deny, can't deny you're worth it."

jungown- fall out boy

the other day, i saw that jungwon recommended a green day song?? like hello?? so random. i considered the two but ended up going with fob simply because green day gives millennial-dad vibes. (don't get me wrong i love green day, but the energy is not there). my inspiration for this match is pretty similar to jake's. jungwon is just so teenage romance coded, so i think the two pair well with each other&lt;3. "i'm just a notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song."

ni-ki- escape the fate

first off, let me just say that i have a heeseung harana agenda

like he goes all out, bringing his acoustic guitar to school and asking forcing his friends to help him out on his performance

so of course, on valentine’s day he’s no different

you did your usual routine of going to your locker after class to get your things

but this time you found a pink post-it note on the door of your locker

you smiled inwardly, recognizing heeseung’s messy handwriting

“meet me at our usual spot? 😉”

by usual spot he just means the benches near the basketball court lol

you immediately made your way there afterwards

and to your surprise you only found heeseung there with his guitar and a singular piece of your favorite flower in his hand

“are your friends running late today?” you say with a laugh

he gave you a warm smile as he shook his head, “no, i decided that it’s just the two of us today.”

he handed you the flower as he greeted you, “happy valentine’s day, mahal”

he sang ngiti by ronnie liang (does anybody remember when bambam sang this at a concert)

you continued chatting after his song until the sun started to set

he did his usual routine of walking you to the jeep terminal you use to get home

but you made it a point this time to lock pinkies with him the whole walk there <33

i know we always talk about how jay exudes rich kid behavior

but his gifts for you during valentine’s day really would put all the other guys’ gifts to shame

even before your first class, he’s already there waiting for you with perhaps the biggest bouquet of your favorite flowers you have ever seen in your life, the largest stuffed toy they sell at miniso (my love language) and a necklace you’ve been eyeing for the longest time (pandora pa ha 😳)

you were always so shy to receive the gifts he would give you, knowing that it costs him a lot of money each time

one time he gave you a dozen of your favorite donuts after seeing your tweet saying that you were craving for it in the middle of the night (edi sana all)

you had to share with your friends or else you would have gotten a stomachache

anyway, back to the present

he approached you with a smile before greeting, “happy valentine’s day, princess”

you shyly received the bouquet of flowers and thanked him for the gifts as well

he opened the box of the necklace he got you before looking into your eyes to ask, “may i?”

you feel your cheeks start to warm but you nodded your head and turned around in hopes of him not noticing (he noticed, he thought it was adorable)

he gently placed your hair on one shoulder before carefully placing the necklace on you and closing the clasp

you were lowkey panicking because of how close he was and the feeling of his hands brushing against the skin on your neck

but you had to pull it together to face him and offer a small thank you

he patted your head before saying, “i'll see you after class, ha?”

and like always, all you could do was smile and nod, because that’s just park jongseong’s effect on you 😉

jake ✿

okay so when i say that jake goes all out, he goes all out

sometimes even borderline embarrassing

so, you already kind of expect the most on valentine’s day

what shocked you though was how your day was pretty peaceful

you couldn’t even see jake anywhere (you were a bit sad ngl)

but as always, jake was full of surprises

you were walking out of your last class for the day, when you were approached by sunoo

“hi y/n!” he said with a sweet smile, “what did ma’am say about our math assignment today?”

you were about to reply when suddenly you were blindfolded by someone who was behind you

you panicked initially, but then you remembered that you were literally on campus with other students so this couldn’t be a kidnapping

a voice you recognized as riki’s told you to calm down and that to just follow their instructions (that did not sound reassuring whatsoever but how bad could it be)

after multiple times of almost faceplanting on the ground when you would miss a step, you finally reached your destination

everything around you suddenly got quiet, but before you knew it your blindfold was taken off

after your eyes had readjusted to the light, you were met with jake’s smug face

“happy valentine’s day, langga.”

he then stepped back to show you the whole setup he had going on, red balloons, streamers, flowers, practically everything you could think of for valentine’s

he then took out what you recognized was your favorite cake from a bakery that you love

although you were embarrassed by the whole ordeal, knowing very well that the whole school will be talking about it for a few days, it warmed your heart knowing how sincere jake was when it came to you <3 (edi ikaw na yung magaling charis)

sunghoon ✿

so far in the whole courtship stage, sunghoon never really made large gestures

he preferred to do smaller things for you, but they made your heart flutter nonetheless

one thing that he never failed to do, though, was pass you little love notes every time you had a class together

he always loved seeing your reactions too when you would read them

even catching you sometimes reading it multiple times a day

so, on valentine’s you expected the same, but you were surprised with a little note falling out your locker that day

“at recess, go to your favorite table at the canteen. happy valentines day, mahal”

you obliged of course, having fun with sunghoon’s tiny treasure hunt

at the canteen, you were met with your favorite snack combo, your heart warming at the fact that sunghoon got your order memorized at this point

(what was ur go-to canteen snack combo, mine was lugaw and c2 HAHAHHA)

of course, there was another note stuck on the snacks

“eat well, mahal! hehe see you in class later <3”

you were literally about to collapse at the sweet nicknames, but you only had so much time to eat the snacks he got you

at class he passed you one last note attached on an album from your ult group that you’ve been eyeing for the longest time

you were about to turn in your seat to scold him for spending so much money on you, but then you remember that you were in math class with the strictest teacher known in existence (why were math teachers so strict 😭)

so you decided to deal with it later

the note said to meet sunghoon at this small, secluded area in school, where a lot of couples would hang out at (i swear lahat ng schools sa pinas may ganito HAHHAHAHA)

you met sunghoon there, weirdly enough there weren’t any other couples, but anyway

he stood there with a small bouquet of your favorite flowers

to which he handed it to you before greeting you once again

you thanked him with a small smile, admiring the bunch of flowers he gave you

he took your other hand in his, to which he brought up to his lips to give a small kiss on the back of your hand

“it’s a pleasure, my love.”

sunoo ✿

sunoo liked to baby you a lot, pinching your cheeks, patting your head, and slipping his hand in yours whenever you can

you were never bothered by it though, knowing that that’s just how he is as a person

so, when you arrived at school on valentine’s day, you weren’t shocked when you saw your locker door full of valentine’s themed decorations

as you went closer you recognized sunoo’s handwriting on the little notes, and he even had some of your photos together developed (you’ll definitely be keeping those for safekeeping)

you were admiring the display in front of you when you felt someone pinch your cheek

you turned around to see sunoo flashing you his sweetest smile

with his bubbly voice, he said, “happy valentine’s day, cutie!!”

he then went in for a hug, and you hugged him back tightly

he also got you your favorite breakfast food (mcdo bfast or jollibee bfast 👀)

he then placed his hands on your face, cupping your cheeks

“eat well, okay?” he then squished ur face bc ur just too adorable!! (gigil si sunoo sayo AHAHAH)

throughout the day he would give you those sweets and candies that would have pick up lines on them like cornetto ice cream, fres candy, hello chocolate bars (ang corny neto pero tbh it made me laugh back in high school HAHAHHA)

overall, you would just have the sweetest (literally) day ever <3

jungwon ✿

for valentine’s day your student council would conduct an event where you could send a love letter to anybody on campus

(sobrang uso nito lalo na online ang lahat pero let’s make make it f2f HAHAHHA)

jungwon, being student council president, was really busy with the preparations for the whole event

so even if he was your suitor, you weren’t expecting much highlight on much bc u still expected smth 😠

but anyway

in the middle of your morning classes, you were pulled aside by soobin, who had panic written all over his face

“y/n we really need your help”

you: ???

“we weren’t expecting so many people would want to send multiple letters so can you please help us deliver them??”

you were a bit confused as to why they couldn’t just set a limit as to how many letters a person can send but you said yes anyway, thinking that maybe jungwon was panicking as well by now

so, throughout the day you were delivering letters

for the first few letters you were happy seeing people’s face light up when they received their letters

but when you got to the end of the day you were already sick of it, especially when you had to climb three flights of stairs just to deliver a letter

but what made you more sulky was that you haven’t even received one from jungwon yet!!

you knew he was busy, but he could have just written happy valentine’s day on a post-it note and you would be happy

when you returned to the student council office to check if you had any more letters to deliver, you were given one last letter

and dun dun dun

you were the receiver!! and it was sent by no other than yang jungwon

somebody tapped you on your shoulder and you were faced with a guilty looking jungwon

as he offered a shy apology because his greeting was so late

you forgave him of course, but not before making him promise to buy you food on the way home 😋

niki ✿

sometimes you forget that riki was actually courting you

because he usually just acts like his normal self

you were already close with riki before he confessed to you and asked for your hand in courtship

so, when you were in the courting stage, there wasn’t that much difference

his love language is teasing you, so that never went away of course

he would make fun of your height, even if you didn’t have that much of a height difference or even if you were taller than him. he'd still tease you and mess up your hair

but he would always ask you if you were uncomfortable with anything he has said or done, always putting you first

riki wouldn’t say it out loud, but he always tries to spend time with you

he would make everything a two-person job

(kapag cleaners kayong dalawa ikaw nagwawalis siya tagahawak ng dustpan HAHAHHAHA)

but anyway

with that you didn’t expect anything at all on valentine’s day

so when you saw riki leaning on your locker holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers

you were literally like 😳

riki, noticing your shock, approached you, saying, “ang baba naman ng tingin mo sakin, kaya ko kaya maging sweet kapag gusto ko” (you think so little of me, i can be sweet if i want to)

he gave you the flowers, not before you hit him on his shoulder for teasing you

but don’t worry, you also teased him back for being a secret softie for you

parang kailangan ko na magtanim ng puno kase parang hindi na to madadala ng grass HAHHAHAHAHA happy valentine’s everyone!! <3 sana masarap kain niyo and know na you are so so so so loved, don’t forget that!

the school's spring festival was one of the best things to look foward to during the academic year. the campus, from the courtyard, to the front entrance, to even each class, was always decorated with beautiful pink and white flowers. and as part of the student council, you and jungwon were in charge of overlooking the decorations.

walking from class to class to monitor the students' work, both you and jungwon made your last stop at your own class. the moment you two stepped foot, you were whisked away by your own friends.

jungwon couldn't help but eavesdrop the conversation you were having with some of your fellow classmates.

"you're joking! the lee minho asked you on a date? TODAY?" one of your friends said. "can you keep your voice down!" you snapped back in a harsh whisper. you looked around the class to see if the attention of the other people were focused on you, but thankfully no one was looking or listening. or so you thought.

jungwon processed every word spoken from you and your friends. a date? with minho?

"where are you guys going to go? what do you plan on doing?" your other friend asked, being curious as ever. "i'm not sure but he did want to meet at the cafe down the block after i was done with student council tasks." you replied, scanning your eyes across the aray of paper cherry blossoms along the wall. "let me know how it goes" your friends winked at you and returned to thier decorating task.

you were satisfied with the turnout of your classroom and decided your duty was done. you made your way to the door, only to see jungwon leaning against it, with a grim look.

"the decorations aren't that bad, no need to look so angry" you said to him. without even knowing he was in deep thought, he reverted his eyes to yours. "huh?" "you look like you're going to burn holes in the wall." you said blankly. "i think the campus looks pretty good so far, so i'm gonna go now. just let me know if you need anything okay?" and with that, you began your stroll to the cafe.

i can't believe im doing this? why do i even care? jungwon was currently kicking rocks as his feet carried him to the cafe you were meeting minho at. "why would they even agree to go with him? he's not even cool!" he yelled out loud, earning him some confused stares from people around him. before he knew it, he was standing in front of the window of the cafe.

his eyes landed on you, sitting across from minho as you had the slightest smile on your face. i could make her smile bigger than that.

he couldn't take it anymore. seeing you with him made him internally cringe. with all his willpower, he made his way inside.

"y/n! there you are! did you forget about the paperwork we had to go over for our teacher?" his improvised words fell out without him even thinking. this is embarrasing.

your eyes snapped over to him, shocked and confused on why he was here. "jungwon? what paperwo-." before you could even finish asking, his hand dragged out of the building. looking back, minho looked just as confused as you were. "sorry, bye" you mouthed to him.

hand in hand, jungwon continued dragging you down the street until the cafe was no longer in sight. you let go of his hand and crossed your arms. "what was that about?" you asked him. sheepishly, he said in a whisper, "he's not even cool." they must be mad at me.

you laughed. "you sound like you're jealous. keep it up and people are going to think we're dating." jealous? am i actually jealous? and dating? it doesn't seem that bad. "but thank you." you said to him. "thank you..?" "yeah, thank you. i never really wanted to go in the first place, but i couldn't find a way to say no in the nicest way possible. you kinda saved me back there." you reached out your hand to give him a pat on the shoulder.

"get home safe jungwon. and stop acting jealous." you said with a wink as you turned around to head home.

maybe i was jealous. but is it even a bad thing? holding her hand felt good. at least i made her smile more than minho did.

You regret it. You regret ever asking him what he wanted for his birthday. You grimace thinking back to that conversation. Oh how naive you were.

“Happy birthday baby! Oh my god you’re so old.” Jungwon rolled his eyes at your words, making you giggle.

“I’m only a few months older than you,Y/n.”

“Still old.” You dodged Jungwon’s arm as he raised it to smack you. “Ok! I’m sorry! What do you want to do for your birthday, Wonnie? My treat,” you said beaming brightly. Jungwon looked at you with narrowed eyes, skeptical.

“Really? Your treat,” he asked doubtfully. You scoffed at your boyfriend’s disbelief in you.

“Yes, really. We’ll do anything you want to do, birthday boy.”

If you were being honest though; the smile that appeared on Jungwon’s face made it worth it.

Or not.

You gulped as you stood before the entrance of the amusement park, Jungwon bouncing excitedly beside you. You willed your feet to move but they stayed glued to the concrete. You scolded yourself once again in your head. Ugh, why’d you say ‘anything’? You couldn’t have just suggested something simple like ice skating, or a picnic, or literally anything else that’s actually on the ground.

You gulped once again as you looked up towards the sky, one of the highest roller coasters you’ve ever seen coming into your view. Your hands started trembling and sweat started to drip from your forehead. Jungwon took notice of your state and his eyebrows furrowed in concern.

“What’s wrong babe? Are you ok? Are you feeling sick?” he questioned while grabbing one of your hands in his and using the other to feel your forehead. You swatted his hand away from your face, assuring him that you were fine. He didn’t believe you though. “Are you sure? Your hands are trembling and you started sweating randomly. It’s not even hot.” You rolled your eyes at your concerned boyfriend before intertwining your fingers and dragging him inside the theme park. You took a deep breath before leading him to the first ride you saw.

The line wasn;t as long as you would’ve hoped it would be, hoping to get more time to prepare yourself. As it came closer to your turn, you started fidgeting more and more. Playing with your fingers, shifting your weight from one foot to the other, folding and unfolding your arms repeatedly. Jungwon, of course, noticed all these things. What kind of boyfriend would he be if he didn’t. He grabbed a hold of your shoulders, forcing you to stay in place. He looked deep into your eyes, trying to find the source of your nervousness.

“W-what are you doing, Won?” you said while looking up at him with wide eyes.

“What’s wrong?” he asked. You opened your mouth to deny that anything was wrong but it seems like Jungwon knows you too well as he shut you down before you could say anything. “And don’t lie to me. I know you well enough to know that you’re anxious about something. You’ve been fidgeting for the past five minutes.” You cursed yourself for your unconscious habits. Crap, he knows me too well.

You sighed in defeat, knowing that it’ll be better to just come out with the truth sooner than later.

“I’m… I’m scared of roller coasters,” you muttered, not missing the way that Jungwon’s eyes widened. You scrambled to reassure him. “But, I wanna do this for you! It’s your birthday and I want you to have fun! You deserve it.” Jungwon’s eyes softened at your words.

“Thank you babe.” And that was it. He turned back to his front and stood there with his hands in his pockets. Your eyes widened in disbelief and you scoffed. Jeez. What kind of boyfriend-

Your thought was cut off as you were suddenly dragged by the hand by Jungwon. What the fuck is he doing? You struggled to keep up with him as he dragged you across the whole amusement park, saying apologies to people that you bumped into. When Jungwon finally stopped, you ripped your hand from his grasp, placing them on your knees as you breathed heavily.

“What the heck, Jungwon? Why the hell did you just drag me across the whole theme park-” Your boyfriend cut you off.

“My favorite roller coaster.” You blinked up at him.

“What???”

“We’re at my favorite roller coaster.” It was only then that you looked around at your surroundings. And when you did, a huge smile grew upon your face.

Jungwon’s “favorite roller coaster” is the fucking carousel.
