Well, at ease, Paratroopers. Now, Parachute Infantry is a brand new concept in American military history. But, by God, the 506 is going to forge that brand new concept into victory. I want you to know that I’m damn proud of each and every one of you. Now, you deserve this party. So, I want you to have fun and remember our motto: Currahee.

Hello! You're secret gifter here!
I'm not sure of Tumblr ate my last ask, (feel free to ignore this if it didn't 😆) but I'm back with a few questions!
Do you have any particular favorite scenes or moments from Band of Brothers? (or any of the hbowar shows for that matter!) Could be dramatic or funny, or even favorite episodes!
Thank you so much!! I hope you have a fantastic day!🥰🫡❤️
Hey anon!! Great to hear from you!! 💖 Thank you for poking me, I've been traveling and only intermittently checking tumblr the past few weeks so it was on me for not getting back to you sooner. Sorry about that! 🥺
As for favorite episodes/scenes, can I just say the whole thing? (lmao jk i will narrow it down just for you, my dear secret gifter!)
Band of Brothers -
episode-wise, I think my faves are Currahee (1), Crossroads (5), and Points (10)!
as for this is obviously by no means definitive, but a couple of moments that come to mind:
Nix and Harry flirting with the Shermans in ep 3 ("Hellooooo second armored!"/"you beautiful babies, you!")
The whole court martial debacle in ep 1 (everything from Nix saying "he misspelled court martial" to Winters being visible done with Sobel's bullshit just hits for me idk why lmao)
WINTERS IN PARIS IN EP 5
literally everything Luz ever says (but especially his impressions of officers/generals - ex. Maj. Horton in ep 1, Taylor (I think? or somebody) in ep 3 with the "flies spread disease" line)
Nix losing it when he finds out his wife is taking the dog in ep 9
THE COMPANY SINGING "OKLAHOMA"
the baseball game at the end of ep 10 😭😭😭
the officers vibing at Berchtesgaden in ep 10
And a couple from the other shows just in case:
The Pacific - Basilone's breakfast date with Lena in ep 8 (i am a dog shaking that scene around back and forth in my maw like a chew toy)
Sledge and Sidney's survivor’s guilt convo in ep 10
Generation Kill - every time Person starts singing a pop song (his rendition of "Sk8er Boi" in ep 1 particularly hits for me lmao)
Masters of the Air - the liberation of the POW camp in ep 9
I hope that helps! feel free to ask anything else, and i can't wait to see what you create!! Have a great day too ✨
(p.s. thank you for the compliment of my music taste in the first ask!! i appreciate it—i used to be a radio dj in college so that is very validating lol 🥰)

i’m on my annual rewatch of band of brothers, so here are some of my favourite moments ep 1 edition:
liebgott ready and willing to kill a man when sobel hits him
talbert’s existence during the “we’ll take your dames to the movies” scene
muck falling over and malarkey helping him even when sobel tells them not to
“lieutenant sobel does not hate easy company, private randleman, he just hates you” “thank you, sir”
“jesus, what the hell is this” “that’s pig guts, boy”
talbert and co. running up currahee with gordon
luz starting the “we’re airborne infantry” chant bc sobel is being an asshole to bull AND sobel’s face afterwards lmao
"luz, just get me a drink” “hell’uv an idea, joe” goodbye my beating heart
joe toye’s entire existence tbh
roe’s face when sobel fucks up the field exercise
“i’m always fumbling with grenades...”
“hitler gets one’a these right across the windpipe, roosevelt changes thanksgiving to joe toye day and pays me ten grand a year for the rest of my fucking life” babe ilu
“fighting over sobel, that’s smart”
“get this GODDAMN PLATOON ON THE MOVE” and tipper losing his shit in the background
“you’ve done it now yanks, you’ve captured me” for an episode set in britain there aren’t enough brits and i love you old man
“would that be the enemy” “as a matter of fact, yes” wINTERS I LOVE YOU
“i request trial by court martial”and the salute after are the biggest fuck you ever, i love him so fuckn muuuch
them all respecting winters so much, and hating sobel so much, that they would rather be killed for mutiny than jump without him
winters “what the fuck have you just done” face when they salute him
that british guy confusing the absolute shit out of malarkey lmao
toye’s “i could use some brass knuckles” although tbh just his voice in general is a+
lipton’s “yeah boy”
guarnere’s smile when luz starts imitating sink
“see ya tommy” “give jerry one for us, yeah?”
grant’s little salute to winters when he helps him up

I've been rewatching BoB and I decided to play a little game of where's Liebgott. I am now done with Ep 1 with a folder that has 56 screen shots of him through out Currahee. Should I do the whole series and should I put them on here?
