its very Greendale of them to have the thermostat of the entire building out in the open unprotected for anyone to change. like yeah it was useful for the zombies but now im imagining students breaking out into a ridiculous war over a one degree temperature change

so like the bites would scar, right? like the zombie bites from epidemiology were deep enough to draw blood, so they would scar right. maybe they assumed before that it was like an animal that bit them so it's not that weird. but you ever think that Abed would be looking at the scar on Troy's arm like really looking at it, and has this weird thought like "hey, that's kind of shaped like my mouth." and maybe Abed like puts his teeth into the indents just to see what happens and they just slot into place and they both have the terrifying realization that there was no animal. idk just have you ever thought about that because I have. at great lengths

Troy spends so much time looking in zombie abed's eyes in epidemiology. Like damn, you could have made it to that thermostat without a scratch on you if you weren't so gay

i know people have talked about it before on here but genuinely it's crazy how the zombies in epidemiology weren't a skit or a fun game it was Real, and that's why it's so upsetting that trobed said I Love You to each other and then they FORGET. THEY FORGET. it was a real thing to them, it was the last thing troy would ever tell abed and it needed to be I Love You. and then they forget....

I just realized the room abed learns to let go and accept that troy is leaving in season 5 is the SAME room where they say “I love you” “I know” to each other in season 2😭😭 and in the s2 scene troy leaves too 😭😭

I think about epidemiology often. When the military arrives at the end of the episode, are they still zombies? They say the cold will break the fever but does it cure them or did it just prevent brain damage and, later, death? Did the government cure them when they arrived? Or were they already cured and they just took their memories? If Troy hadn’t reached the thermostat, would the government just have been there to clean up the dead bodies? Or would they have cured those that survived? What is the taco meat that the dean fed everyone? Obviously it wasn’t actually taco meat, so was it the decomposed remains of other zombies? Why would they have that in an army surplus store?? At the end of the episode they say that this (presumably everyone infected but in an enclosed quarantine) is scenario B. What’s scenario A? What would they do if the zombies were roaming the streets? These are the kinds of important questions we need to ask ourselves

i’m not saying 206 epidemiology is the BEST community episode but i am saying it’s MY episode. you could lock me in a room and make me watch it on repeat and i’d be set. i wouldn’t even need to eat or drink id just feed on its vibes and live to be 150 years old

In Community season 2 episode 6 "Epidemiology", there is a scene where Troy tells Abed that he loves him, fearing that this might be the last and only time he could say it due to the zombie virus. Later in the episode, everyone, including Troy and Abed, recover from the infection spread at the Halloween party. All of their memories of the party are then wiped by the military. There is never a specified amount of time given between Greendale students recovering from the virus and the military arriving. During said time, Troy remembers telling Abed he loves him and Abed remembers the same. Community is also known as a show where anything can happen, as the episodes change formats and have new ideas constantly. This means it's entirely in the possibility of canon that Troy and Abed could've kissed in the time frame between recovering from the virus and getting their memories wiped. In this essay, I will-
