Escort card envelopes to go with the insert cards I shared yesterday 😊 I like the pairing of the black envelope with the white card, and the gold providing the visual continuity 💛🖤

The envelopes have a nice linen texture. I used Schmincke’s calligraphy gouache in pearl gold for a nice opaque ink that’ll be easy to read in low light 😉

Sharing Couples’ True Colors with Lemon and Lime Event Design

A recent wedding by the team at LEMON AND LIME EVENT DESIGN had us swooning over this colorful two-day celebration. 

The couple included traditional wedding ceremonies and receptions, each held on separate days, giving the bride and groom each a chance to shine in their family’s heritage and traditions.  

The receptions after each ceremony were held at the home of the bride’s parents, which required smart design and quick turnover from the event team to hold back-to-back parties. 

Thoughtful touches throughout the weekend, like animal escort cards as a nod to the groom’s childhood in Kenya, made the celebration uniquely personal for the couple.

When it came to tablescape design, the bride favored tree-like structures as a nod to Kenya, so tall branches were used on reception tables in place of flowers. This thoughtful choice also gave great height to the clear-top tent.
