There's a lot to say about this week's RnM ep (such as that apparently I get to see this shit 2 days after half of my favorite rnm blogs, so I'm stuck skipping far too many spoilers) but putting aside my actual thoughts on the new shift of toxic dynamics in the family and the way that improved relationships in the Sanchez-Smith clan appears to constantly depend on having someone to blame for anything going wrong:

I am so glad they gave us shirtless no abs rick and all of his weird funky robot limb gadgets

#I told y'all I want this pathetic wet cat of a man w/no abs and titanium arms and someone listened 6 months in the past #anyways I feel like this new dynamic isn't actually new so much as shifting a target #from jerry to rick #and I kinda wonder how that'll affect everyone going forward #ngl I can't help but feel in my heart of hearts that this would have such major payoff if jerry lapses and regresses as a character #ik it's not great of me to hate him #but this ep reminded me of why I really do not like jerry smith and why even in episodes where he imporves #he's still a shitheel #tbqh so is beth #I do feel really bad for summer #wish they'd do more w/her and morty #esp morty #scattering braincelles #rick and morty #r&m #rick sanchez

when u rewatch rnm after watching s7 u can REALLY tell exactly when roiland starts giving his most nothing (s5)

What an ugly take. SpongeBob, The Simpsons, and Rugrats has awesome animation. Simpsons and SpongeBob were especially charming early on. Modern SpongeBob is a lot more expressive and wacky, but that doesn't mean it's bad or "ugly".

I know opinions are opinions, but man. I disagree entirely.

some people really forget that the show is called rick and morty. morty is literally one of the main characters, he’s half the show, and if you hate morty so much maybe you just dislike the show
