Day Two (and a bit)

It's about quarter to eleven at night, and I'm sat here trying to pull together the last bits for the dissertation chapter due tomorrow. I feel a little bit like I'm running on fumes, but I am determined to get this finished tonight. As much as I hate to admit it, I produce my best work when I am under pressure. Give me a big bottle of water, a Brian Eno album and access to Jstor or a similar journal resource, and I can power through a fully-referenced essay with the best of them.

The downside of this, of course, is that I end up looking a little panda-like the next day, thanks to less sleep than I would usually get. Still, there's nothing like the feeling of satisfaction that you get after handing in a piece of work.
