Best piece of interest in Fukuzawa is that he DID have comrades. That is evident. Its undeniable. He repeats over and over again that he chose lonliness, that he’s heard a batshit amout of rumors about everyone, he was a part of the Goken-five greatest swordsmen-he Did Have Friends that he chose to leave because he understood that he was just existing in an echo chamber where murder was Just and Perfectly Fine and he had the mental fortitude to get out before he got too awful!!
