How about doing a list of potential video game characters for a 40 type fanfic? Just which characters you would pick. Original Video Game characters can count as well. And sequels to video games.
I would pick...
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (Talion)
Red Dead Redemption (John Marston or Arthur Morgan)
Prince of Persia (The Prince)
Infamous (Cole McGrath)
Viewtiful Joe (Joe)
Resident Evil (either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine)
Okay, so bear in mind that I am NOT an avid video game player. I only know these games based on watching other people play them or have been told about them.
Five nights at Freddy’s: Michael Afton
Until Dawn: Ashely
The Walking Dead: Lee Everett or Clementine
Bendy and the Ink Machine: Henry Stein
Undertale: Frisk or Sans
Little Misfortune: Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez
The Stanley Parable: Stanley
Life is Strange: Max Caulfield
Cuphead: Cuphead or Mugman
Super Mario Bros: Mario or Luigi
Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic
Portal: Chell
Kingdom of Hearts: Sora
The Last of Us: Joel Miller or Ellie
Little Nightmares: Six
Horizon: Zero Dawn: Aloy (I don’t know much about this one compared to the rest, but I like the concept)
Red Dead Redemption: John Marston or Arthur Morgan
Resident Evil: Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine
The Legend of Zelda: Link
The Witcher: Geralt Of Rivia
Detroit: Become Human: Connor or Anderson
We Happy Few: Arthur Hastings
Cyberpunk 2077: V
Bioshock: Jack
Silent Hill: Harry Mason

American Idol finalist, Broadway actor and youtube sensation Todrick Hall teamed up with Marlon Wayans' new company "What The Funny" to produce a viral Halloween video. The real Divas of Disney have collaborated with yours truly to give you a very special Halloween gift.
Thank you so much to Adam Lambert, Shoshana Bean, Cassie Scerbo, Amber Riley, Blake McGrath, Kimberly Cole and Pia Toscano for lending me your talents. Special thanks to the dancers, Drew Reese, Peter Gill, Chester Lockhart, Davis Rahal, Steven Dehler, Jared North, Hondo Tey, Noelle Boney and Aaron McGuire. And a HUGE thank you to Jean-Yeves a.k.a. Jeeve Ducournet for doing the music, producing and recording. I have always had a strange fascination with the Disney villains' side of the classic fairy tales and now through the music of Chicago you'll get to hear their stories.

🗣Why is everyone so confused, scar is here 🤣 he’s a queen Yeah, he's a DRAMA QUEEN
🗣I love the part with "some guys can't handle their apple juice" vs "some guys can't handle their arsenic," because there is arsenic in apple seeds, I'm pretty sure.
🗣For those who doesn’t understand the queen of heart she was saying the name of the victim ( Disney characters) she accused of killing them thus “ yes but did you do it “ and she said “ no no not guilty “

He technically does in one of the bad endings. Depends how that Anon decides to analysis Mikado’s skills.
Tumblr media
//The last time that Death Battle had a character that had multiple endings with different power scalings for both was Cole McGrath, and for the fight, they used Good Cole.
//But they clarified afterwards that Evil Cole would have stomped just as easily, if not more so.
//In an actual Death Battle setting, they probably wouldn't use Divine Luck Bad Ending Mikado since a) That ending isn't canon to the character, and b) They wouldn't talk about it if they didn't think he could win without it.
//Honestly, I've never DISLIKED the idea of Divine Luck. It's honestly not that much different to the concept of Ultimate Hope's being super OP.
//But thinking about it, the difference between Ultimate Hope and Divine Luck in DR Survivor is that one has limits and the former doesn't. While Hajime is far far stronger than Ayumu and Nagito, he still has to push himself to defeat them. If Yuki was to fight Nagito, even with Nagito's own luck and insane power, Yuki would still win because every strategy he concocts will work perfectly. Hell, even if he doesn't concoct it, something will happen that will help him win.
//Divine Luck has never been applied in a combat setting though, besides Hajime's fight with Mikado early on in the story, and that was a tad different. Yuki's powers were limited by the Neo World.
//Its an interesting quandary if nothing else.

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, ch72
"Every time a star was added, my pain diminished a little bit. I realized that the constellations were sharing the 'probabilities' that I had to bear. The 'story that isn't plausible' became a 'plausible story' with the consent of many stars." - Kim Dokja
in the Sucker Punch produced hit video game, InFAMOUS 2, there is an endgame choice to decide the fate of humanity.
The original canon choice was Evil: Become "The Beast" with Chloe(?) the ice conduit by your side and destroy the modified Ray-Sphere then kill Zeke Dunbar, your best friend, along with all mysteriously diseased humans while instantly unleashing the latent power of everyone with the Conduit gene.
Otherwise, there was Good: Defeat The Beast with the wild, and previously an enemy, fire conduit by your side along with Zeke Dunbar then use the modified Ray-Sphere to kill all Conduits around the globe at once, including your protagonist, Cole McGrath. There is no guarantee this would cure the diseased people or keep any human alive.
Everyone picked the Good option so hard that Sucker Punch said "fuck it, its canon now."
With Cole MacGrath dead and a statue erected in his honor and glory, conduit-less humans continued to live due to his heroism. Thousands of people contained the gene and died from the raysphere without knowing why.
If Evil was chosen instead, those thousands would be the next generation of evolved humans around the globe. although that'd make using the internet and watching anime rather difficult i believe
Extra:
The "Conduits" were the source of this indescribable global illness. They were superhumans with the uncanny ability to control something they're a conduit of, like smoke, fire, ice, or Cole McGrath's Lightning, and apparently other Conduits. InFAMOUS: Second Son's protag is able to absorb the powers of other Conduits and use them at will and can speed up learning how to use them with conduit shards, similar to Cole McGrath's ability.

Hi! I've been wanting to make a death eater OC and I was wondering if you could help with faceclaims? Basically, what are some of your favourite faceclaims, any age, that have that dark/evil/aristocratic vibe? Ethnicity doesn't matter too much, but I've read that it's risky to use faceclaims of colour for villainous characters, so I'm mostly looking for a white fc (though if I find someone of colour that fits great I'll probably end up using them)

As the sun goes down and a glint of moonlight starts to peek through, blood-thirsty vampires begin to lick their insatiable chops. The ghoulish horror villains have been around since the dawn of cinema (Nosferatu) and have since become a popular mainstay in film (Twilight), television (True Blood), and of course, countless video games.
RELATED: Castlevania: 10 Saddest Things About Trevor Belmont
Made popular by the 1986 NES game Castlevania, vampiric video games have continued to flourish over the past 35 years. As gaming consoles and gameplay technology continue to advance, so too does the harrowing interaction between slayer-players and evil bloodsucking vampires. It's time to highlight the best of the bunch.
10 Darkwatch (2005)
Tumblr media
Published during the halcyon gaming year of 2005, it's easy to overlook Darkwatch, Capcom's highly engaging first-person vampire shooter for PS2 and Xbox. Fusing horror, steampunk, and western genres, the game centers on 19th-century gunslinger Jericho Cross.
When Cross is bitten by and morphed into a vampire, he is recruited by a powerful monster-hunting sect to fend off a scourge of supernatural entities. Gaming options allow a player to pursue paths of good or evil, with Jericho's vampiric powers limited to the nighttime.
9 InFamous: Festival Of Blood (2011)
Tumblr media
Another juicy vampire game to sink your teeth into includes InFamous: Festival of Blood, the 2011 PS3 game revolving around the character of Cole McGrath. When Cole's blood is poured into the corpse of a vampire called Bloody Mary, the ghoul reanimates and returns the favor by biting Cole and turning him into a vampire.
RELATED: The 9 Best Vampire Movies On Amazon Prime
Armed with a makeshift stake, Cole must fight his way to safety and find the sacred weapon the Barbed Cross. The game drew positive reviews for its elaborate story and excellent gameplay.
8 Buffy The Vampire Slayer (2002)
Tumblr media
The second-earliest game on this list belongs to the 2002 release of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, the extremely fun and wildly popular Xbox game that currently boasts a solid 79 Metascore.
Praised for its stellar story, multiple gameplaying modes, and top-notch action, the EA game weaves narrative exposition from the beloved TV series into its plotlines. The story was written by horror novelists Christopher Golden and Thomas Sniegoski, as well as Richard Hare. The 3D action-adventure has no shortage of baleful bloodsucking beasts to slay.
7 BloodRayne 2 (2004)
Tumblr media
Developed by Terminal Reality for PS2, Xbox, and PC consoles, Bloodrayne 2 takes place 60-70 years after the events of the first game in the series. The intense hack-and-slash action game is for every Resident Evil fan who wants to viciously waylay vampires rather than zombies.
RELATED: 10 Horror Video Games That Could Have Been Scarier
The game centers on Rayne, a headstrong, independent, and powerful heroine who sets out to kill her vampiric father, Kagen. On her quest, Rayne slays several of Kagen's ghoulish offspring by using her trademark twin arm blades, spiky silver steel stiletto heels, chain harpoon, and various guns and explosives.
6 Vampyr (2018)
Tumblr media
For a newer vampiric 3D RPG to try out, look no further than Dontnod Entertainment's Vampyr. Released in 2018 for Microsoft Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, the story focuses on Jonathan Reid, a doctor who becomes a vampire and desperately tries to balance his medical duties with his insatiable bloodlust.
While traveling through 1918 London, Jonathan attempts to uphold his Hippocratic oath and treat victims of vampire bites while suppressing his primal urge to feast on human blood. The moral dilemma Reid faces is bolstered by above-average gameplay and a third-person POV.
5 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard (2012)
Tumblr media
In the action-packed open-world RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard, users have the option to play as a vampire or a vampire hunter. The story revolves around the return of an ancient vampire sect known as The Volikhar, and the outfit called Dawnguard that is out to stop it.
RELATED: 10 Best Free Open-World RPGs (That Aren't Skyrim)
No matter which side fans choose to fight for, special perks, armor, and weapons are afforded to each. Crossbows are used to hunt vampires, while vampires can harness lycanthropic skills to use on their behalf.
4 Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver (1999)
Tumblr media
Of the six franchise entries to date, Soul Reaver is the best game in the beloved Legacy of Kain series for vampire hunters to check out. Released in 1999 for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows (and Dreamcast in 2000), the second game in the series holds a whopping 91 Metascore.
With a rich backstory full of unique vampire lore, the sweeping storytelling follows Raziel, a ghostly vampire who can enter both the physical and ethereal realm and solve a slew of interrelated puzzles between the two planes of existence.
3 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015)
Tumblr media
As one of the best-reviewed titles of the past five years, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an absolute must for fans of vampire video games, especially the DLC addendum, Blood and Wine. The action revolves around Geralt of Rivia, a Monster Hunter (aka Witcher) out to find his adopted daughter from a deadly spiritual onslaught.
RELATED: DCEU Characters And Their The Witcher Counterparts
With a quiver of cool weapons and magical spells to boot, players must slay baddies (including vampires), complete quests, collect gold coins, and interact with several characters en route to exploring three possible story endings.
2 Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night (1997)
Tumblr media
One can't conscionably conduct a vampire video game list without the inclusion of at least a single Castlevania title. While the entire series ought to be considered, the 1997 release of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is the place to start.
With a sterling 93 Metascore, Symphony of the Night has long been hailed as one of the best video games of all time. The story picks up four years after events in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, and injects exciting new gameplay with role-playing elements and nonlinear level designs.
1 Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines (2004)
Tumblr media
Other than Castlevania, Vampire: The Masquerade series is considered the definitive vampire video game franchise ever made. While all are worthy of trying, Bloodlines is the highest-rated of the bunch.
Set in 21st-century Los Angeles, Bloodlines allows players to choose one of seven vampiric clans. The first and third-person RPG with rich character backstories allows players to imbibe scores of human blood, acquire special skills and unique abilities, a cache of weaponry, and engage in hand-to-hand fisticuffs.

2, 4, 12, and 17?
2: Favorite Genre?- in all honesty what’s gonna take the cake for me is either RPG, MMO, or just a good ol single player story based title. I’m decent at some action games though.4: Top Three Games?- golly, this is actually a pretty hard question to answer. Right off the top of my head I would go with: Ratchet and Clank, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, and I guess since I’ve played it a lot recently and I can’t think of anything else; FFXIV12: When a game has an online connection option, do you use it?- If I REALLY enjoy a game I’ll use it to get the most out of the title and/or if I have good friends who play it that I can play with online17: Favorite video game character?- Either Sebastian Costellanos from the Evil Within series, Cole McGrath from the first two Infamous games, or Travis Touchdown from the No More Heroes series
