Ok. Hella late on these but I'm still within 30 days so It's Gucci. Here are tricks 13 - 17 for #30days30tricks. They all need drilling but I made sure they qualified. Some interesting concepts in here if I do say so myself. 13 is a Pit Trap to elbow trap, 14 is just a couple of examples of Pinch pendulum play in Meteor mode. 15 is a gunslinger wrap also in Meteor mode (definitely needs work). 16 is a nifty little string manipulation trick that I got from @intricate_strings , and number 17 is a pinch float. Take 2... Ayyyyyyyyyyy! Back at it with the #30days30tricks. Days 6, 7, and 8 are kinda silly but kinda fun. 6 is a whiffle. Made popular by @doodlegrip_fans formally with a whiffle stick. Poi does it too though. The reverse whiffle is great for slight of hand style combos. 7 is a tether trap with non trapping handles. It requires extra twist (at least 2). 8 is a horizontal no beat catch in Meteor mode. #30days30tricks day 4 & 5 late af again (it's becoming a pattern). Trick 4 is a toss combo with a behind the back catch and number 5 is a no beat weave/fountain with and under arm catch. These tricks aren't super original. Their pretty old... but the thought of consistently having a reason to go drill my tech is exciting. It's also a huge pain in the ass. Lol. When it comes to movement and dance, I've always been big on freestyle and improv. I look at it like rap. You gotta be ready to pull it out at any moment. Off the cuff. There is also something to be said for the amount of acute and technical knowledge a person must have to deliver a technical freestyle. For years now, freestyle flow has been my jam. .......... As of late, I've realized that my lack of focus on routines is due more to a fear of having to do something perfectly over and over again. A fear that my creativity wouldn't pull out as impressive concepts if premeditated... I see the absurdity in this now. .................... I've decided to start working on my first full routine. In a few hours I was able to (mostly) get 60 seconds of a 6 min performance memorized. I'm proud to share this with you all and I want your feedback. What song should I perform it to?
