Whether you're rich or not, this is a super confusing situation to be in...which makes it even harder to imagine what a person who is alone with no money is dealing with right now. Or a single mother with 2 kids and no safety net resources like mom and dad to call on. No emergency fund. Look out for your friends and the people you don't know. Stay home! I just woke up. Is it May already? Jk. I woke up super early this morning ... to look at instagram some more. In case you were unaware, it's not particularly exciting at 5:30 am. Lol. I keep telling myself I'll go Spin Poi or Jog at 6:30, but I never do. Is it just me or is this quarantine making life extremely ADD? What I want to do just kinda jumps around randomly. I have no obligation to do any one thing, so I've just been taking my precious time doing anything I want to do. I have so many ideas! Kinda into being A.D.D right now. Every day is not productive though. Some days get overwhelming and I struggle to complete anything. I miss sex. I miss intimacy on any level. From squeezing my bestfriend when I have missed her or tongue kissing a hunky stud I just met on the dancefloor. Dancing to basslines with strangers in a field of thousands of people I don't know. All kinds of different people shoulder to shoulder, just sharing space up close and personal. When I got there I maintained hanging with a handful of people, but by the end of the shoot we had all fallen in love with each other. I saw it when I was scrolling and was transported back to when all these different kinds of people could stand together. This close. And I shuttered at the thought that it's gonna be a while before this could happen again anywhere in the world. Take care of yourself. Wash your hands A LOT. Work out and eat immune boosting foods like garlic, Citrus, ginger, and tumeric. Get hand sanitizer and use that shit. Clean off all counter daily. Especially metal or plastic ones. Reasearch the best ways to avoid it completely or cut down your viral load (if you are asymptomatic). feel bad for people quarantined by themselves. . . . I guess this is reality now. Talking about what it's like to be in quarantine. Grocery store multiple times a week with a consistently limited selection. Freaking out a little 2 or 3 times a day and then getting really excited about extremely menial things. It's jarring to find yourself aware of how small the world has become. How the reality of a single person has become relatively insignificant while the mass of people, unprepared and unaware, is everyones main concern. . . . My heart goes out to people working in healthcare who are more at risk than most of us, to the elder individuals who were struggling with health issues before this, to the people who have family members that are older or immunocompromised. I hear you, I feel you, and I'm doing my best right now for you. . . . And honestly, Trump administration can fuck the fuck right the fuck off. You all had multiple opportunities to prepare us for this. To mitigate the weight of fallout, but instead I'm bracing myself for the impact. Underprepared for this because of your carelessness. This is basically me right now laying around at home most of the time trying to avoid the Covid 19 demons flying around. As much as I hate the circumstances we are under, I'm perpetually optimistic these days. Trying to look at the bright side of things. People are available. People are calling their friends and their friends will probably answer. People are making art and... while some of what comes out may be a little psychotic 🤷🏾‍♂️, people have time to think and feel. This incubation phase that we are in will undoubtedly leave us raw and out in the open, but it will leave us new. I'm nervous, curious, and excites to reach the end of this.
