Aleric loves wearing flashy clothes and he'd even love going on stage! He's not really much of a performer but he knows how to have fun and pump up the crowd. He's partial to leather and fringe, and always has some kind of flashy statement piece to his outfit (that he strips off obviously)

Rafiq is probably the best performer of the group, though primarily he just has a great stage presence. He prefers to wear things that nod to his cultural background so his outfits would have an east-meets-west vibe to them. He can't belly dance to save his life but he loves chains and adornments and how they jingle when he dances lol.

Diaval kinda rolls with the punches. He's not really comfortable wearing a skirt so I think he'd wear something simple, probably posing as the ring leader. Magic Classification

Just a quick guide on the standard magic grading system made by Everblight

Basically, magic is graded from Alpha to Omega in terms of destructive or creative power, and +, -, or = are meant to denote if they fall somewhere in between. For example, Arnold Vasilieve (ew) is classified Gamma but he’s Gamma++, meaning he’s closer to the lower ranks of Beta. 

Most people fall between Eta to Phi, it’s exceedingly rare to cross the Zeta and Chi ranks. 

Beta, Alpha, Chi, Psi, and Omega all warrant having limiters installed because extreme levels of creation and destruction are dangerous (no shit) 

In addition to the Greek alphabet, there is also C through S ranks to denote the amount of magic or mana. Using Arnold Vasilieve as an example again, he is Gamma ++ A, meaning he has a lot of mana compared to the average person falling between C-B. 

This rank can be tampered with, but that’s extremely dangerous and the one recorded case of rank tampering ended in 20 people dead and $200 million CAD in damages. The rank can fluctuate or go down with growth and regular training, children’s classifications and ranks are very flexible. But if you force it to go up or down - ESPECIALLY in an adult who already has a classification and rank - you get disasters like Lycaon who we WILL talk about.

The day has come to publish my pjo headcanons:

The characters I mention are Will, Nico, Annabeth, Percy, Jason, Leo, Piper, Dionisio and Drew.

-Nico is blind in one eye, since he is missing this one and he has a scar that runs across his face, which is why he covers it with his bangs.

-All of Nico's clothes are small and tight and are dirty and worn.

-Nico doesn't like bathing, he's just not used to it, but he does it.

-At the time when Nico fled the camp and was looking for Bianca, he was stealing and rummaging through the trash.

-In reality, Nico is very lively and talkative, it's just that his jokes are very disturbing and people tend to stay away from him (he's probably also autistic).

- Nico loves alternative clothing and dressing up, so much so that he would be willing to wear makeup even if he hasn't yet outgrown the Social Norms from the 30s .

-Nico loves music and singing.

-Jason lost his ring finger in a battle.

-Jason is comfortable with femininity and she/they pronouns. They could be agender.

-Jason is demisexual.

-Jason has the personality of a golden retriever and is very nerdy (also Nico) with his friends, but with strangers he seems like a feared warrior and likes to follow the rules. They are also savages.

-Percy hates college, he just doesn't want to stagnate and needs to move on.

-Percy is bisexual, but it doesn't mean he's going to be interested in any boy or emby anytime soon.

-My Will is black and he doesn't like weapons (he doesn't know how to use any either).

-Nico and Leo are Catholics.

-Leo loves his femininity. He could also be enby.

-Leo has a inferiority complex and for a while he thought that if he left no one would miss him (he also believes that he is a monster or a demon).

-Drew, Nico and Will get along great (even though Drew and Will are ex-boyfriends).

-Piper does not hate femininity but she fears it because of men and what people expect of her as she is the daughter of a famous person (indigenous women tend to be very sexualized).

-Dionisio loves his children and is a dedicated father even though he may not seem like it.

-All (or almost all) are dyslexic and ADHD, or ND.Also lgbt+, it is usually linked to being ND.

I've been putting in a lot of effort in the 5 days since you sent the ask lol

The reason the post is getting bigger and bigger before being posted is because I'm having to read less popular, obscure sources and some even only available in ancient Greek (thank god there are kind souls to help in this case) to find more content! And I know you said "beside Homer" but there's no way I can talk about Patroclus without Homer, so I'm also recapping certain things about Homer and that makes it even bigger.

And of course, I'll post a prev for you! But it's an excerpt from the Homeric part and I don't know if I'm going to post it in those exact words, after all it's a draft.

In The Iliad, the heroes have epithets that refer to:

Their appearance (ex: Menelaus with “xanthus/blonde/red-haired” and Ajax with “giant/gigantic”)

Their abilities (ex: Achilles with “swift-footed” as an example of physical ability and Odysseus with “tactician” as an example of intellectual ability)

Their role (ex: Agamemnon with "lord of men" because he’s the leader of the Achaean army)

Their ancestrality (ex: Diomedes with "Tydeus' son")

They’re all epithets that somehow magnify them in war. They're big, they're fast, they have an important lineage, they play a big role. Patroclus has epithets like these too. He is "dear to Zeus", he is "Menoetius' son", he is "great-hearted". And yet he’s the only one who has the epithet "gentle". Everyone who receives personality-related epithets still receives warrior or strategic/wisdom epithets, but Patroclus also receives “gentle”.

Homer intentionally emphasized this characteristic of Patroclus and never treated it as a weakness, but rather as a quality. Gentle only appears describing Patroclus after his death, as if these two things were linked (Menelaus and Briseis feel affected by Patroclus' death because he was kind to them, Zeus talks about how Hector is destined to die for having killed Patroclus while associating Patroclus with kindness and strength, Lycaon tries to win Achilles' mercy by remembering that Patroclus was kind). The preserved memory of Patroclus by those who mourn or speak of his death is not just his strength or his courage, but his gentleness. This makes me think that the choice to make Patroclus the only hero to receive this type of epithet is precisely to aggravate the tragedy of his destiny — Achilles was the most affected, but he wasn’t the only one to mourn between the characters and even the listener/reader.

She has 5 children in total with her husband (omega). The eldest is a beta male, followed by an omega female, then Caleb (alpha), Gwen (alpha) and finally a beta female.

When her alpha son Caleb challenged her to a fight about 2 years ago, she lost and he took over as pack alpha. She has been living in Vievecor City as a lone wolf ever since.

PERSONALITY: Strict, disciplined, traditionalist, [up to player] 

RELATIONSHIP WITH CHARACTERS: 

With Caleb: Once Caleb manifested late as an alpha, she overlooked his younger sister Gwen and chose Caleb out of her two alpha children to train with the intention to have him take over from her as pack leader. He has always been an obedient child when it comes to her and they are closer to each other in certain ways than she is with Gwen. That said, Caleb is still intimidated by her on most days, even up to the day he challenged her for pack leader status. Caleb had the intention of losing this fight, but he ended up winning and had to take over as pack alpha in the aftermath. Caleb still visits her even though she is not part of the pack anymore and asks for her advice when he dares to. Whether she gives it to him depends on her mood. With Gwen: Your character is the reason why Gwen has mommy issues. Ever since Gwen first began showing signs of being an alpha, your character always pressured Gwen to be great. Gwen was initially chosen and trained to lead the pack, until Caleb’s Alpha traits began to flourish. From there, your character constantly pit the two alpha’s against one another, far past the bounds of a sibling rivalry. Gwen has never felt good enough in the eyes of her mother,  feeling as though her success was often overcast by Caleb’s. Even though she is a semi-famous and successful chef in the culinary industry, started her own rock band, and even owned her own restaurant, it wasn’t good enough for her mother. This is why Gwen finds herself closer to her father, and often avoidant and standoffish with her mother. Gwen has always been loyal to the pack, even when she was passed up for Alpha, and the betrayal of Caleb challenging their mother. To add to this, Caleb passed up Gwen as second, only to choose Jaxon was another irritant for Gwen. Although he did nothing but try to love Gwen, she never felt that she could trust him due to his deep rooted connection with her mother. Now that Gwen is aware of just  how deep that connection truly went… Gwen is anything but stable. With Jax: Jaxon met your character a long while ago when his old pack merged into Lycaon. Back then, he was still a relatively young wolf but his experience and strong character soon made him stand out from the rest. Eventually, this resulted in her choosing him as her second in command.  Over the years, their friendship grew. Jax was there for every big decision. He was there to help raise her kids, took to Caleb and Gwen as though they were his own, and being everything an alpha would expect their beta to be. Their connection was obvious to anyone who cared to notice but it was always assumed to be nothing out of the norm. This was the case for many years; until she and Jax slept together during heat and started what would become a rather short-lived affair that has remained latent to this day. Said affair would result in Gwen being conceived - something she kept from Jaxon and her husband in an effort to keep the good Lycaon name and save her reputation in the process (there may have been other reasons, such as not wanting Jax to leave the pack/lose him, but that is up to the player). Even if things did get rocky as a consequence of unresolved feelings between the two when the affair ended, Jaxon has love for her and has remained loyal up to this day, taking his old role as Caleb’s right hand unaware of Gwen being his blood…until now.

Elliot Lundell - A serial killer who was notorious for using his business of a sweet shop to allow him to murder those that stood in the way of him and his goal to romance the man of his dreams. Before he died, there were rumors that he tried to teach his ways of murder to his younger brother and current Brunshire student Elias Lundell. Elliot had the title "The Lovestruck Life-Taker".

His last wish before he can move on from the locket is to be reunited with the spirit of his husband, the same man he was in love with when he began his spree.

Teala Vasquez - A polite maid with exceptional skills and top marks in the Maid Training Academy. However, she earned her title of the "Murderous Maid" due to her frequent use of poison to murder the owners of the houses she cleaned. A moment of sloppiness got her caught, and now she is trapped inside the locket she found.

Her last wish is to have a member of the Mystery Family to release her of her duties.

Jules Forth - A man seemingly cursed with horrid luck. Around him things break, he gets hurt, and people die. So many people have died around him that he earned the name of the "Unlucky Unlifer". His end occurred after he had a date with the mayor's daughter, took her on a date to the movies, and she was crushed by a girder. He was then gunned down by a mob stirred up by the mayor.

His last wish is to talk to his childhood friend, who stuck with him through his unluck.

Morticia Aeron - Twin sister of Brunshire student Morty Aeron, the both of them were serial killers known by their childish moniker of "The Death-namic Duo". Despite their best efforts, Morticia was caught and killed. She is more likely to take control of the Soul Locket's host.

Her final wish is to, using the host, kill the person who murdered her.

Zechariah Z. Zaidan - Student of Kretchmar College and twin brother of a Brunshire student. He was known well on the dark web as the "Violent Vivisector" In his last live stream, where he shared the locket on screen, the police busted in and shot him dead.

His final wish is to see that his twin brother has picked up his mantle as the next "Violent Vivisector"

Irina Kata - With twenty-five murders under her belt, "The Bloody Bride" has earned a reputation as a feared woman to wed. She's murdered every single man she's married. A testimony from a man of a man trapped in a different anomaly, she is being manipulated, but quite a few of those kills are of her own volition.

She has not given what her final wish is. It is suspected to be related to the aforementioned man.

Nyx Kalliope - Mother of a certain POI, Nyx Kalliope ran the now-known Hades Hotel. It is confirmed that she tried to mold her children into killers, and we know that she was successful with her son who now runs it. Some spirits who haunt the hotel are from her cruelty.

Her final wish is to see enough murders happen so that she can return to the world(?)

"+1UP" - Known only by this gaming tag, he was a famous gamer known for taking over leaderboards and dominating any game he started. However, he was very sensitive to any actual or perceived mockery of his physique due to his constant time in the gym (Ex. Calling him a "meathead" or making fun of his thicker fingers, etc.) He sought to punish them for their jeers, successfully gaining their location, and strangling them with the cord of his controller. It took five bullets to put him down.

His final wish is to pass on his controller to "one who's worthy"

Ajax Lycaon - A former police chief, he learned that his division was full of racists who took pleasure in bending the law to harm and kill people. Filled with rage, he massacred his division, saying that he knew that they would only get a slap on the wrist for what they'd done. After this, he took a security job at Brunshire. He was killed on the day of the Time Wrym, and died with the locket outside the looping area, trapping his spirit into the locket, but caught his body in the time loop.

His final wish is to be reunited with his body.

Sam Sidney - Known as the "Thames Trampler", they seek to punish those that try to get away from their crimes in the dark. They are known for their modified boot they used to step through heads. They were ambushed by a criminal gang, who drowned them in the Thames.

Their final wish is to take down Jack the Ripper or get proven evidence that he no longer exists.

Matilda Dodge - Known as the "Crimson Crockpotter", she seemed like a perfectly normal, bubbly woman. Her sweet smile hid what her main goals were: To kill and make people into meals, and serve them to others. Anyone that ticked her off usually ended up in her titular crockpot. She was caught by a sheriff and accidentally electrocuted on her crockpot's exposed cable.

Her final wish is to see her son graduate. We think this son is a student at Brunshire Academy.

The Council had met a bit more than usual in the few weeks since the Spirit Party. All it took was a murder of one of their kind to get the different species on the island to try some vague attempt at working together, but tensions were still high as they addressed the rumours of a werewolf committing the crime. Names were thrown about and naturally the ex-convicts in Zamok were brought up with only the Lycaon pack leader standing up for his cousin amongst the rest of the Council who only maintained a stony silence. That is until Matthew spoke up in his usual nonchalant manner to vouch for him as well. Augustine lived in the Hereafter and the fallen deity was certain that he had not committed the deed given his last conversation with the werewolf. The others might have taken it as him trying to pull some trick, but all Matthew wanted was to stick up for an injustice. The rest of it went by in a vaguely awkward and stilted manner before they finally decided that they were done.

Matthew stood immediately when the meeting was adjourned, straightened his suit jacket and turned to walk out. They were in the Vievecor City Library as usual, which meant witch territory and Matthew wanted to leave as quickly as he could. Unfortunately, the wards around the building prevented him from simply disappearing by portal and he had to get as far away as he could on foot before he could do so. The fallen deity was about halfway down the corridor when he heard a voice call out his name and he stopped to look back.

THODA LAAL (translation: Little Red) 

Thoda Laal Pack was created roughly fifty years ago in Bangalore, India. Esmeralda Bheriya, the pack's leader and alpha, started the pack when she split from another prominent pack in Bangalore. The pack consisted mostly of family and others who were displeased with the other alpha and esme's ex-husband, Wolfram. The pack migrated a few times around India before coming to Vievecor City.

Since arriving in the city, the pack has become established. While it doesn’t rival the numbers that the Lycaon pack has, it has been growing steadily for a number of years. The pack is now larger, bringing in families who felt out of place with the other packs in the city and for lone wolves who were cast out. Esmeralda tries to be a fair leader and promotes a family attitude and, because of this, it is mostly made up of families and extended families.

So I made a team boyz cough.

They are team CHRT (Charoite) aka a purple mineral. Their themes are 'kings'. All of them are good noodles (most of them..I guess?) All of them are surprisingly well mannered and kind natured. And by no means are they perfect

They all have first name but no surnames hahaha ^^;

They are all currently in their mid 20's and have longed since graduated from Shade.

Clarence: King of Poison

A human passing faunus. (Blue ringed octopus) His semblance and mere touch to skin causes burning sensation to anything with an aura. His faunus trait is located on his finger which appears like rings. He is easily the most soothing voice of the bunch, kind, and not easily angered. However, his team has a deep fear for him, he frequently touches stuff (and is very self-aware) when he is using or not using his gloves. The mark he leaves on victims is like a blue water color edge. While growing up, he was initially told to never touch people as it would hurt someone. When he grew older, a person enjoyed mentally torturing Clarence in deciding between two options. Having had enough of this, he asked for a third option that would lean in his favor while using his power on the person. The person couldn't handle the feeling of the pain, and ultimately let Clarence win. Initially, Clarence was a bit regretful; however, he learned that he couldn't hate himself. So he embraces his ability without remorse.

Hans: King of Urien

He is a raven faunus. He is also the ex-boyfriend of Valhalla. He and Valhalla were always close (a little more like study mate turned love interest....but study mate first.) Both of them got a long great but Hans had a habit of barely passing major tests. When he and Valhalla studied for an entrance hunter exam. He noticed his grades were higher than normal in which he realized Valhalla used her semblance to have him answer a few right answers. He felt betrayed and humiliated and his trust for Valhalla shattered. He tried to forgive her but ultimately couldn't bring himself to continue with the relationship. Hans was ever so more studious at Shade and became quite the bookworm. His use of dust and fighting style is through his analysis of his opponent and then countering their attack. He might appear 'stoic', but he is fairly nice and straightforward. You can smile at him, and he will smile back. He appreciates hard workers and isn't really much into flirting with others. People could flirt with him and he may reciprocate depending on how well he knows and likes you.

Rufus: King of the Jungle (Tarzan)

He appears like a wild fun-loving man. While people use dust for offense, he uses it for parkour and creating obstacles. His semblance allows him to attract two (same element) deactivated/non active dust towards each other. He is actually adopted by two faunus that were former hunters. He wanted to follow in their footsteps so he sought out to become one. His parents (both were not on the same team nor did they ever have interactions during school) gave him a lot of advice. He was told that a team could experience hardship and that people sometimes do not get along because of clashing personalities, but that ultimately, he should still find a way to work it out as a team. Rufus is slightly naive at the comment and wholeheartedly accepted his team. Whenever his team does anything remotely questionable, he seems to not question it and carry his day out like normal. Terne: King of Lycaon

He is a wolf faunus. He is a replacement of Aomi that joined between 2nd and 3rd year of Shade Academy. He is actually an undercover officer (and 2 years older than his team). He is dispatched to Shade to help regulate crime activities and harassment in Vacuo. Thanks to his abilities, the crime rate dropped significantly. He is able to play mind games with target if needed and is the only person who is willing to play chess with Clarence. (Clarence likes to play chess even though he loses plenty of time to anyone.) Clarence enjoys making complex moves on the chessboard with anyone just to see the other person struggle...Aside from that, Terne is a bit more extroverted and is easily the easiest person to talk to. (He is also the most active member to actually make a positive difference.)

Aomi: King (Azure) Dragon

He is an aquatic (unspecified) faunus. He was part of team CHRT for a few years before he had to ultimately quit. He is very much a team player and has the personality of a kind teacher. He doesn't know Terne but still offers any help towards him. While with the team, however, he is stronger than Clarence (there is still an unfair fear that Clarence use when things do not go unfavorably), he lends his old text and books about dust to Hans, and likes to learn about different movement/ parkour from Rufus. It is rather unknown why he had to leave, but the strong speculation was that his parents requested him to come back after something catastrophic happened in his hometown. As per request, he decided that he should stop his hunting school activities to tend to his hometown.

Hey guys. If ya’ll are looking for some original characters to mess around with I have tons. I use character ai to mostly test characters that I am thinking of using for my writings. It’s actually kinda cool. I like it so far. I do have two characters from media though. I have Alcide from True Blood and I have Bankotsu from InuYasha.

Most of my characters are OCs and I leave the introductions as a way to set the scene; so they are open for a ton of options for you to play around with.
