I swear that in every cartoon fandom there are people who keep making theories about a character losing an eye (or any other limb but usually it's about eyes) which rarely ever actually comes true. It's all because every time there's a light on their eye or a weird reflection, they take it as a foreshadowing of them losing an eye because it couldn't possibly mean anything else.

going insane about the particular character dynamic where they could've been friends. maybe they were even on their way. if only they'd had more time. they weren't friends yet, weren't friends when things ended or changed or whatnot, maybe they were only acquaintances or victims of forced proximity or reluctant allies, but they could've been. in a different world, they could've been.
