Dimensions Entertainment has released a statement confirming that Unity member Sunghee is going to be hosting his very own variety show. Released through base, the multi-media collaboration project between Dimensions Entertainment, BC Entertainment and Gold Star Media, Sunghee’s variety show, Sunghee’s Sincere Cooking Show, will have weekly episodes released on YouTube every Tuesday beginning May 11, for a period of ten weeks.
According to the statement, the premise of the show is to have guests write Sunghee a letter telling him about a dish they’d like to eat. Then, both Sunghee and the guest will take a shot at attempting to cook said dish. The aim of the show is to offer idols a comfortable environment in which they can talk about their personal and group projects over some cooking, without any form of pressure. Dimensions affirms Sunghee is excited about the new project, and asks for fans to look forward to all the guests who’ll be participating in the show.
Sunghee’s Sincere Cooking Show is the first with this format to be released through base’s YouTube channel, but this is not Sunghee’s first job as a host. He’s been the MC of MBC’s Show! Following a sudden departure in the middle of CHARM’s August 1 concert in Fukuoka, fans of CHARM have been speculating about the state of the health of the group’s youngest member Yuanjun after it was announced halfway into the concert he would not be joining the group for the rest of the performance. This sparked concern among fans, especially as CHARM’s youngest is known to have a history of health complications. After an initial silence, BC Entertainment has finally released a statement regarding the wellbeing of Yuanjun and its implications on the rest of the tour and CHARM’s schedules going forward. Read the official statement below:
Hello. This is BC Entertainment.
After the events at the CHARM 2021 Japan Dome Tour concert in Fukuoka on August 1, we wanted to update and reassure the fans of CHARM that have been anxiously awaiting news regarding CHARM’s Yuanjun. We apologize for the delay on the news and appreciate the wait as BC Entertainment has been in discussion with the artist regarding the best course of action while putting the artist’s health first.
After feeling unwell during the concert, Yuanjun, with a heavy heart, opted to sit out for the rest of the concert in favor of getting a check-up and to preserve his health. After further medical attention, the artist has been diagnosed with a lung infection and thus BC Entertainment and Yuanjun have come to the mutual agreement that, for now, he will be taking a break from his schedules, including the remaining tour dates left on the CHARM 2021 Japan Dome Tour, and focus on recovery before rejoining CHARM again at their group schedules.
For the time being, we ask for your patience and thank you for your continuous love and support for both Yuanjun and CHARM. We will continue to release updates on the artist’s condition.
COMMENTS
1. please make a speedy recovery, our maknae!
2. he must have been struggling so much while performing ㅜㅜ
3. yuanjun always gives his all on stage, it must have been really bad for him to not finish the show
4. a lung infection? I can’t believe bc only caught on so late!
5. it is not the first time this has happened but I can’t help but worry every time
6. people accusing bc of overworking yuanjun... how? he literally never has solo schedules anymore these days
7. in the middle of a concert? couldn’t he just have kept it together a little longer? this is so unprofessional

Knight’s Taeyong and Fuse’s Minjung tell the “tales untold.” through this month’s cover of Dazed Korea.
The duo shows off their mysterious charms through the photoshoot of the idols in close proximity using the cool-tone and black and white effects of the photos. The idols play to the elusive aura, dressed in various luxury brands such as Fendi, Alexander McQueen and Miu Miu, giving viewers up close and more personal touch to the photos. Viewers are also able to appreciate the idols’ visuals from the individual close-up shots. Dazed has also released a short 30-second video of the photoshoot process emphasizing the artistic and mystifying feelings relayed by the two artists.
In the interview portion, the two were interviewed their first meetings to which Minjung replied, “Ironically, we’re from the same high school but I never paid attention to Taeyong sunbaenim past ‘Knight’s Taeyong’ — nothing more, nothing less. However, that’s evidently changed as I can start to understand Taeyong sunbaenim in a more artistic sense after our collaborations.” When asked about the collaboration process, and how that has changed their dynamic, Taeyong replied “I’m not a person who can always communicate well in conversation, but music is special to me, so working together through song helped me to come to understand Minjung better. First through working on “Girl, Interrupted” for her to sing, and now through producing songs together on her upcoming album, she’s become a singer and songwriter whose skills I admire.”
Both Taeyong and Minjung are currently part of the main cast on JTBC’s Mystical Record Shop. When asked about any memorable times on the show, or their favorite moments thus far, Taeyong answered, “What was most memorable to me was getting to meet guests in other lines of work. I get so caught up in my work, I don’t get the chance to meet with people who aren’t entertainers often,” while Minjung coyly said, “I’ll spoil a bit — there’s a cover of a song I really enjoy that I get to perform in one of the latter episodes. So, I suggest tuning in to see what I’m talking about.”
Aside from Mystical Record Shop, both the Knight member and the Fuse member have been busy with their respective solo activities. Taeyong finished promotions for his chart-topping ballad “Me After You” while recently wrapping up his third solo concert and BC Entertainment has recently announced he will be taking an indefinite break from activities due to stress. Minjung is slated to release her first full-length album loveforclosure, which features Taeyong on two of the tracks, on July 9. Both idols, as mentioned, are currently part of the main cast on JTBC’s Mystical Record Shop, which airs on Fridays.
COMMENTS

3. please let this mean more taeyong and minjung collaborations. their songs together are so good ㅠㅠ
4.  taeyong in that bath tub... ㅎㄷㄷ... dazed korea thank you ㅠ
5. minjung is seriously in a visual league of her own....
6. their images are so notorious that this is probably one of the few duo photoshoots that won’t cause rumors ㅋ

After much speculation as to who the person behind the brand was, BC Entertainment has confirmed through a press release that the brand Otakgyu is a project created by Knight’s Haon, now available online. The first release for Otakgyu is for the spring/summer 2021 season and is stated to be the biggest batch of garments the brand plans on releasing, encompassing everything from clothing and accessories to shoes. Haon is credited as the creative director of the brand, having a heavy hand to all aspects from the designs itself to the packaging of the clothing.
Otakgyu is described as an extension of Haon himself, and his sense of emptiness as a modern day icon contradicted by the reveal of small niched interests he’s hidden away for the entirety of his career. Marketed towards anyone who wants to “find a utopia that they have yet to reach”, the brand’s cryptic mantra follows the street-style trends in oversized t-shirts, hoodies, and sneakers following the monochrome color ways with rare bursts of colors in the form of random daisies, roses, and smeared paint.
This season carries some special takeaway must-haves for the fashion collectors such as the t-shirts and hoodies with iconic anime character memes, headbands with the brand’s logo, and the shoelaces with ‘otakgyu’ engraved on the aglets using the Knight member’s own handwriting. To commemorate the launch, ten denim jackets were released with the launch, each one uniquely hand and spray-painted by Haon himself, marked at 1.7 million won. The sneakers come in forest green, black, and white with the pale yellow not for sale, but instead gifted from Haon to his close circle.
The price range is on the high end compared to other online fashion brands with the standard t-shirt hovering around the 250,000 price range and the standard hat at 150,000 won — the online store is stated to only carry a set number of pieces at a first come first serve basis while future drops are speculated to be sold via a random raffle system. The rest of the collection can be found on Otakgyu’s online store, available today.
Haon has amassed a lot of traction with his first full-length album re[gone] released earlier this month while serving as the face of Chanel since January of this year.
COMMENTS
1. how did he manage to make an album all while designing this clothing line? our oppa works so hard ㅠㅠ
2. first chanel, then his album…. and now a clothing line? 2021 is the year for our haon!
3. it’s so expensive, and somehow when i last checked it was nearly sold outㅠㅠㅠ
4. and here i was thinking bc couldn’t make their intentions clearer… still the same money hungry company
5. what i got from this was haon is a fan of anime and nice smelling flowers ヲㅋヲㅋ he’s so cuteㅠㅠ

Studio Choom has released a new video through their YouTube channel featuring Chroma’s leader Bada. The video is part of an ongoing series of dance covers and dance videos featuring idols with a special talent for dancing. The lead dancer of BC’s latest girl group showcases her dance skills with a cover of Bishopp Briggs’ River.
The video starts with Bada dancing by herself in an all-black ensemble with only a chair for a prop. Dancing in heels, Bada is able to showcase not only her dancing as well as her flexibility and balance. We’re then shown a change of costume, with Bada this time wearing a blue outfit as well as boots and being joined by dancers. Between those changes, there’s also a change of dance style, which allows for Bada to show her versatility.
Versatility seems to be a good word to describe Chroma’s leader, for she’s just recently been revealed to have been crowned the King of Mask Singer for a week, right after her solo OST for the show The Producers, “Palpitations”, managed to chart in the top 100 of Gaon’s Digital Chart. The sub-unit of her group Bada’s part of, Chroma Crystal, is currently promoting their single “Girl Front”.
COMMENTS
1. she’s a very charismatic performer, i couldn’t keep my eyes off of her
2. found out about her through palpitations, i had no idea she was a good dancer too!
3. of course we knew she could dance because of eclipse, but i had no idea she was this good!
4. ah… how does bc keep finding all-rounders like this? ㅋㅋㅋ
5. aren’t they pushing her a bit too much? she’s barely debuted and i see more of her than of idols from more senior bc groups…
6. as expected from a bc group ㅎ

With her busiest year of 2020 behind her, Minjung has wowed viewers in her beauty showcased in this month’s Allure. This will be the singer’s third solo magazine cover.
The photoshoot showcases an edgier, more chic side to the fuse member dressed in more cutting-edge fashion choices. The photos embody a mixture of rock and roll and classic elegance as shown by the juxtaposition of her makeup and clothes in full-color and black and white pictures. Allure has also released a video where the Fuse member answers the highly-asked questions regarding her own fashion sense and choices.
In the interview, Minjung goes deeper into her newly blossoming solo career as an artist and writer, after six years inside Fuse. When asked about how she juggles Fuse’s schedule along with her full solo schedules, she replied: “Sometimes, I feel like an alien in outer space drifting from one planet to the next. It becomes a weird habit you can’t shake, and often when I’m not this busy, it feels more out of place and unnatural. Even on my days off, I find myself sketching various things I see day to day, and writing down thoughts that fill the void that’s inside my head, but I’m no workaholic. I’m only a creature of habit.” In addition, when she was asked about her favorite stylistic choices, she added: “I really love a nice pair of slacks — the basic essentials. I don’t like pattern play or things too flashy. I prefer being muted, and subdued when I’m out and about apart from the stage. Oh, and I could never forget my Dior handbags.”
When asked about what the future holds for 2021, Minjung answered, “I don’t know, but when do I ever know? I just want to walk in a park, and see what life throws my way be it lemons or cotton candy. 2021 might be more promising than the last, so better keep your eyes out.”
Minjung has made waves with her latest single “Twit” released last December, and currently is the face of Dior, Dior Beauty, and Panthere de Cartier.
For the full interview and pictorial, find it in the latest issue of Allure Korea.
COMMENTS
1. she radiates something so special when she’s inside photoshoots.. her beauty is unmatched
2. minjung’s weird… i can’t get a grip of what type of person she is.. it’s not like she’s building a wall but more so she’s too deep that you can’t get a read of her…
3. minjung noona.. you’re the prettiest in the world. you’re a living doll.
4. face genius.. personality genius.. charming genius.. just genius — minjung.. please do whatever makes you happy ㅠㅠ
5. i don’t think she deserves the hate she gets… she seems really misunderstoodㅠ
