one of my favorite probably not-so-subtle little character details between dokks and enn is that eachother's eye colors are the main highlight color in their respective outfits.

this was unintentional on my part. it just happened. but I like to think that their favorite colors really are the color of the other's eyes.

Okay, let's look at the speckled baby up close. These are at 20x magnification, but even this far away it's pretty apparent that the speckles are on the surface of the scale.

Have you ever tried to peel apart the plastic on a laminated document or had a fingernail get damaged and flake at the tip? This reminds me of that same delamination.

I'd like to look at some shed skin up close but I didn't get any slides and it's hard to focus on a specific spot when it's not a flat surface, so that's next on my shopping list I guess...
