Quick Notes: Chapter 99
I love it when a good chapter comes out. This was definitely a good chapter.
So I’ve started playing Ultra Moon and there’s a feature where you surf on a Pokemon. I’d love to see how Shiki’s surfing tricks would look.
Drakken Joe definitely looks dried up without so much life in him. Usually, people in his state are said to be “washed up”. (This was almost phrased as a burn.)
“It might take time... but even so, if someone reaches out... I think it’s possible to be friends with anybody.” I’m mad this is my philosophy on redemption in a nutshell.
I’m not saying that Weisz wouldn’t be justified in shooting Drakken Joe. Mashima doesn’t have it in him to write a character do that. As an example, I cite Kurenai.
I need to remind myself that Amira and Homura met each other.
I’m still not sure if I like Shiki being able to tap into Rebecca’s old memories.
“The organization that that... Miss Amira came from. They took him into custody.” There has to be a better way to phrase that. It’s proper grammar but still...
Yet another drawback to the different timelines clashing. Sibir and Weisz are correct.
It’s cute to think that Rebecca and Happy were the things Weisz found that made him change, but Sibir’s likely describing events before the accident.
And just like that, Weisz joins Musica and Gray in the “main crew member with a meaningful necklace gang”. Among other similarities they have.
Labilla: *is warned about wandering the ship* Also, Labilla: *gets mad when she sees people she doesn’t like behind a door*
“Now that you mention it, what did Connor do? I’m amazed he didn’t turn up in any of this.” Thing I’ve definitely wondered is repeated by a character in the series.
When I heard this happened, I had to edit part of my EZ Week post.
Next week’s going to be a fun week. Have a fun EZ Week and I’ll see you day 7 with my post and the day after with our 100th edition of this.

(RootofJesse) Revelation Unsealed Improvised Talk Version 99(NEW MIX VERSION)The Somewhere Spoken Mix Version Thirteen By Leslie (aka Jesse) Hughes © The book of Revelation proclaims there is a scroll that can be unsealed (Rev Chapter 5:1-5) by measuring (Rev 11:1, Eze 40:3) the temple, altar and worshipers until there is a Victory of the White Horse, Lamb and Word of God (Rev 17:14, Rev 15: 7, Rev 19:11-21), a New Heaven and New Jerusalem (Rev Chapters 21 and 22, 2Pe 3:13), and a New Covenant (Heb 8: 7-13, Jer 31:31-34).  I believe the Gospel is a metaphoric resource for that measurement, providing a map of our Spiritual connection to the world.  Jesus Christ himself declared:  "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world" (Mt 13:35, Ps 78:2). I also believe the Holy Spirit who created all things, (what is seen has been created by what is unseen Ro 1: 20-23, Heb 11: 1-3), has left us a metaphoric map of creation in the Gospel that contains more insight than the commonly accepted literal descriptions. Where psychologists and scientists are declaring what is seen in the world and re-describing it in their own vocabulary, I find Gospel measurements to be more effective and visual, allowing us to place Biblical stories and insights upon the objects to be measured, providing more light and insight into territories that would otherwise be dark and only partially defined by literal descriptions. What is perceived as reality one day is a changing concept and can be proven quite a different reality on another day.  For example, who thought man could fly across the sky like a bird in planes that weigh several tons, or that audio and video waves could  travel invisibly through space and provide TV pictures that replicate faraway places with such realism you would think you were there, or that  many gigabits of data could be contained on microchips as small as the  tip of your finger, that we would communicate through cell phones that  bounce off satellites in space, or that we would have computers that  allow us to search entire world libraries of books through the internet  in an instant. Therefore, I  take that leap of faith the philosopher Kierkegaard wrote of and believe there is another dimension unique from the one immediately perceived by our senses, and that it is simply illogical  that this world and all its wonders were created by chance. I  also delight in the fear of the power of the Holy Spirit who is the Lord  (Isaiah 11: 2), and realize along with joy there is great  suffering in the world, my peace being established in the faith there is something within us that is immortal and independent of our bodies, not found in the natural elements of the powerful wind, earthquake or fire, that is the gentle whisper, that still  small voice, the word of God we speak that shines on in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it (1 Kings 19:11-12, Rev 19:11-16, Jn 1:1-5).   “Here I am, it is written about me in the scrollI have come to do your will O God” (Heb 10:7, Isa 11, Ro 15:12)To proclaim the New Order and the New Covenant (Heb 8: 7-13, Jer 31:31-34)To unseal the scroll in the book of Revelation (Rev 5:1-5)To measure the temple of God and the altarAnd to count the worshipers there (Rev 11:1, Eze 40:3-4)Until there is a Victory of the Word of God who is the Lamb and White Horse (Rev 17:14, Rev 15: 7, Rev 19:11-21)A New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem (Rev Chapters 21 and 22, 2Pe 3:13)And a change of the priesthood, from the order of AaronTo the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews Chapter 7, Acts 13:20-23) (Lk 4:18-19)"The Spirit of the Lord is on meBecause he has anointed me to preach good news to the poorHe has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners And recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressedTo proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." I am a New Order, New Age and New Covenant Gospel Rock and Roller preaching the Gospel to the world in the tradition of Dylan and Springsteen. My songs and spoken words metaphorically interpret the Bible and book of Revelation, helping to shine a light upon Bob Dylan’s lyrical clues. I serve the Spirit of the Lord, and dedicate my eternal Star to serving my King the Holy Spirit of Truth (Isaiah chapter 11 and 2 Corinthians 3:17) and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, the day of God’s Salvation and the New Covenant (Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah chapter 61, 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 8:7-13) by measuring the temple, unsealing the scroll in the book of Revelation and preaching the true metaphoric interpretation of the Gospel to the world inspired by Mt 13:35 and Ps 78:2 that states “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world." Art F City: This Week’s Must-See Art Events: Condo (the Good Kind) Invades New York
This week starts off and ends a little slowly, but Wednesday to Friday ought to be pretty great. Spend your hump-day checking out openings at Marianne Boesky Gallery and David Lewis, where a group show and a solo show by painter Megan Marrin, respectively, look to have a much-needed sense of humor. Thursday night Condo New York kicks-off, in which 16 local galleries have surrendered their spaces temporarily to galleries from London, Mexico City, Shanghai, LA, and beyond. The preview receptions for the multiple shows are (thankfully) on both Thursday and Friday nights, so you won’t have to go crazy trying to rush back and forth between Chelsea and the Lower East Side.

Do Ho Suh: 95 Horatio Street
95 Horatio Street is both the title of Do Ho Suh’s latest work and a new venue for the neighboring Whitney Museum, who have been commissioning new artworks for its facade. Opening today, Do Ho Suh’s work imagines the Highline’s past—when it continued all the way downtown to the ferries and transported trains instead of tour groups. Appropriately, the elevated park offers the best views of the print.

Cells
Loosely inspired by Louise Bourgeois installations, Cells brings together work from artists that humorously subverts the functionality of domestic interiors. Think Jessica Jackson Hutchins’ crusty papier-mâché sofas and a space-altering installation of curtains from Alex Da Corte.
Artists: Matthias Bitzer, Jackie Brookner, Alex Da Corte, the Haas Brothers, Jessica Jackson Hutchins, Jennie C. Jones, Nancy Lupo, Jorge Pardo, Cosima von Bonin

Megan Marrin: Corps
This spooky-titled show has been promoted exclusively with one image: Megan Marrin’s 8-foot-tall oil painting of the stinky “corpse flower” at the Botanical Gardens that New Yorkers were obsessed with last year. It’s a great painting, so no matter what else is in Corps (maybe something Black Metal?) it should be worth checking out.

Condo New York
We couldn’t be more thrilled that New York is getting its own iteration of Condo—an innovative space-sharing program born in London in which international galleries can “borrow” another gallery’s location for a month.
Condo New York will be spread out across the Lower East Side and Chelsea, and features some of the city’s best galleries lending their spots to international favorites including Mexico City’s LABOR and Guatemala’s  Proyectos Ultravioleta (who always do art fair booths so well that I can’t wait to see what they can do with a brick-and-mortar space). The preview reception is from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, so it makes sense to break up your days by neighborhood.
Here’s the full list of the sixteen host galleries and their guests:

Metro Pictures 519 West 24th Street hosting Leo Xu Shanghai

Warm Up July 1: Jackmaster / DJ EZ / Tiger & Woods / Shanti Celeste / VHVL
PS1’s first Warm Up party of the season is basically the only thing to do this Saturday, which is fine by us. The program brings together local and international musicians and DJs from the experimental to the mainstream, and is basically an excuse to day-drink in a museum and check out the shows that are up. Of particular interest: the music will take place under Young Architects Program winner Jenny Sabin Studio’s installation “made of photoluminescent textiles that transform over the course of a day.”

Amy Ruhl: Between Tin Men: Gifts and Souvenirs
I don’t think I’ll ever fully understand why “The Wizard of Oz” is such an enduring piece of pop mythology. Nevertheless, there always seems to be at least one artist using the book/film as inspiration for work that’s infinitely stranger and more interesting than the original. In this case, that means a video centering on an obscure character from the text. Here, she’s imagined as the protagonist of a queer/feminist love triangle, hopelessly in love with a tin man who himself is in love with another tin man.
Around this narrative, Amy Ruhl has constructed an installation of souvenirs from the hopeless romance and journeys through Oz.
