How to handle rejection at an interview?
How to handle rejection at an interview?
Failure is a stepping stone to success. This adage has been thrown back at us repeatedly in different versions, time and again, by many great people. Moreover, each of these is their version – born out of their experiences - of failure. Each of these persons is so successful that it is difficult to imagine they ever encountered failure. Let us use these adages as stepping stones to have a game plan to combat failure at an interview. Do not be too hard on yourself. Do not lose heart. Be positive. So cheer up and read on.
Tumblr media
"The season of failure is the best time to sow the seeds of success". - Paramahansa Yogananda
One course of action after receiving a letter of rejection is to respond. Send a thank-you note to the interviewer. Also, say that you will like to be considered for any other openings, different opportunities, that they may have. It could just strike upon the employers that you are in fact better suited to some other role than they were considering you for.
"Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm". Winston Churchill
Have a plan B ready. Give yourself one more chance at least, the next chance. Draw up a list of companies where you might want to work. Or there may be a course you may want to complete before you set out looking for a job again. You may want to upgrade a skill, read a self-help book, meet a mentor for guidance or simply just take a break, go on a holiday and return rejuvenated.
"When you start something don’t give it up mid-way. Those who work sincerely are always happy". - Chanakya
Allow yourself a limited period to grieve. Once that is over, start again, move on. You have a whole plan to follow through, remember?
Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. - Thomas A. Edison....Read more

How To Prepare For Entry-Level HR Interview?
Clearing an interview is not a real-time rocket science. By just practicing a few steps, you can easily crack an interview. For which, you can don a business suit. As an additional preparation, drive to the interview location a day before the interview date. This will help you familiarize yourself with the route and analyze the time needed for commuting. Note down the time and leave your home at least 15 to 20 minutes early. It will give you some buffer time and you will never be late for the interview.
B. Research the organization thoroughly
A candidate who is applying for the post of HR executive must be aware about the organization, the company's overall business performance, and the factors which contribute towards its success. The candidate should go through the news articles of the company regarding the global presence in the market.
C. Prepare a list of questions which you would ask the interviewer
The interviewee not asking any questions or queries to the interviewer is the worst case which can happen. How To Face Interview For Junior Developer Profile?
If you are someone who loves to do coding and cannot resist removing bugs from  applications, then you are apt for the profile of a developer. If you have liking for intense coding and always want to learn solutions for solving complex problems, then going for this job profile can always give you scope for improvement in your career.
Tumblr media
What Does This Designation Mean?
People who are interested to work in this domain and pose various programming skills are hired for the role of junior developer. Their job is to design  web and mobile applications as per the input from senior developers and write programs to develop an interactive platform. The basic prerequisite of this profile is that you must be clear with data structure concepts, and have a good grasp on programming fundamentals.
A False Notion!
Facing the interview for this profile at a junior level can sent shivers down your spine if you have not prepared adequately. Often there are misconceptions that interviewees have to write down calculations for computing problems on a white board or advance codes in the interview. However, this is not the case. In most cases, the interviewer determines your technical knowledge and ability to adapt to different situations.
Tips To Face Interview For “Junior Developer Profile”
If you are planning to get in this field and make an astounding career as a developer, there are some points that you must not ignore while facing the interview.
Don't fret over things you don't know
It is not expected that a novice junior developer should have an entire knowledge of a particular domain. It is known fact that they have limited information about it. So you must not be skeptical about concepts if you hear them for the first time.
See how the company's product works
If it is a product or service company, make sure you have already tried the trial version of their services/products. If you are unable to understand its functioning, then at least make it sound like you explored the product to some extent.
Try a hands-on experience on source code
Before attending the interview, go though some Git Hub repositories of code. Ideally, very little percentage of code is written from scratch and hence you may get a question to comment on different ways to normalize the complexity of a module. The suggestions you give can be of very basic level and display your technical understanding of the subject.
Show what you are passionate about
Rather than sound knowledge of the subject, the interviewer wants to determine how passionate you are for your role. Describe why you are keen on making a career in this field and how your enthusiasm will get good profits for the organization,
Do not babble unnecessarily
In case you are not aware of a particular technology, stick to what you know, or relate it to a question that has something to do with the topic. Do not deviate from the subject by speaking unwanted things in a superficial way.
Coding is much more than just the commands
The coding questions can be really tricky and challenging. Most of the times, these questions are not to test your coding capabilities or what data types you use, but to test what brains you apply and transform it into commands, They will not look if you have used ample number of braces in the procedures but lay focus on your thinking ability to solve the problem.
It is always a good idea to know about the person who is going to conduct your interview. If they are from technical background, you can answer their questions using relevant concepts. However, if they are from a nontechnical profile, explaining how algorithms can be used to simplify their work can leave a right impact on them. Also, to become successful in this profile you must keep upgrading your knowledge of the emerging technologies at regular intervals of time.
