took a break from birbfest to draw some Flow fanart since i went to see the movie and loved it so much. i love when characters don't talk yet they say so much aaaa

i also made a little comic to my reaction at the end, which was mainly for instagram but i liked the face i gave my fursona so im posting it here too

the thing a lot of fandom gets wrong about tarantulas, imo, is that he didn't make ostaros because he was obsessed with prowl or whatever, he is obsessed with prowl because he sees prowl as the inspiration for and conduit through which he made ostaros (and other stuff, obviously). important distinction. the point was not to somehow(?) 'trick' prowl into being stuck with him bc 'hey look what i made for you', the point is that mesothulas was obsessed with making ostaros/new life, was able to do so with prowl's support and using prowl as inspiration, and so now tarantulas is obsessed with the idea that if he could just make prowl work with him again he could keep doing that.

like, mesothulas/tarantulas' number one priority at all times is ostaros. in Sins he makes it pretty clear that he will drop any and all other plans/vendettas/whatever if ostaros is the topic at hand. in wrequiem he isn't trying to go after prowl again (and he could!) because he knows springer is alive and so he's hanging around him, his #1 priority. so acting like tarantulas made ostaros as some sort of side-effect of his preexisting obsession with prowl is a full 180 from what we actually see from him tbh?

i'm so happy to finally be able to start sharing my wildly overdue entry for the @shadowmonkeysbigbang! as many of you know, i co ran the big bang last year with the lovely @subtle-as-an-earthquake (a much more time-consuming endeavour than i'd anticipated, hence how long it took me to write my own entry). i always had this fic planned for the big bang, but as there was a shortage of artists i had originally planned to just submit as a solo author. however, due to some drop-outs i was lucky enough to be able to do a late collaboration with the incredibly talented @blokeykisses, who (as you can see!) has created the most magical artwork for this fic. it was truly the most inspiring experience to get to work together, and i know for a fact this fic would not be where it is today without the creativity getting to work with such an amazing artist sparked. the BIGGEST thank you for all your hard work, you captured the vibe of the fic better than anything i could ever have dreamt of ✨

this fic is based on the photos in the taotu album booklet, and is basically my love letter to baby milex in france. it's quite different to anything i've written before, both in terms of content and format, so i'm a little nervous about posting it! i would truly love to know your thoughts on it, all and any feedback is very welcome 💞
