🍑  :    how meticulously does my muse look after their physical appearance?  do they spend a lot of time on their hair,  makeup,  grooming,  and clothing?  is there a particular reason why they do or don’t?  

(( Quite meticulously. Preminger is a vain and egotistical man, so he makes it the utmost importance to look the best he can be. His duties serving the queen and everything else are secondary in his mind, appearances matter first. He spends anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours on his overall appearance, part of that time staring into the mirror at his reflection. The most important aspects of his looks are his clothing and his grooming. He doesn’t really have a particular reason; he just likes to be vain. The only possible reason as well could be if company is visiting the Highness’s palace; he wants to look good and presentable.

Mozenrath raised an eyebrow at Briar Rose. He was leaning back against one of the many trees in the wood while she picked berries or whatever it was that she was doing. “No?” He felt vaguely insulted.  With a gesture, he raised a small fallen tree branch off the ground and lazily spun it in the air. “I could make you. If I wanted.” But he didn’t. Not really. The peasant girl was a not-unpleasant distraction. He seldom interacted with anyone who didn’t know who he was (or rather, who his mistress was.) And he was reluctant to give up the opportunity.  He altered the movement of his fingers. The branch obediently changed course to give Rose a slight shove. Not even strong enough to knock her off-balance. And then fell at her feet.

candles lit the village streets, garlands of all leaves hanging overhead. The october wind whipped the girl’s cloak about her shoulders, but still she walked, holding onto her mother’s soft hand. Honey brown orbs gazed at the children, just as curious about them as they must’ve been about her. Adora’s attention returned to the trunk, the reason they were here in the first place. Per tradition she and her mother were to pass out sweets to the children. 

“Mama,” Adora looked up at the queen. “Can we start now? They all look so excited.”

"Oh? You’re asking me?” 

Penny looks down shyly, not expecting anyone to talk to him, much less ask him to dance. And part of him wants to say no, due to the fact that he was not very good at it with other people. Naturally he practiced with himself in case this momnet were to ever arise, yet here he was almost about to say no. 

           “Sorry, I didn’t mean for that to sound so rude. I’d love to dance.”

❛ i know that usually people tell terrifying stories in this kind of environment. ❛ rather than tossing and turning all night, she found the visiting princess near candlelight. she plopped herself in the chair next to princess aurora. ❛ but my scariest story is the one about when my hair fell during a ball. ❜ emphasizing the words made it all the most dramatic. ❛ although, ❜ her voice lowered to a still, almost monster-ominous tone. ❛ there was the time my husband heard his dead grant-grandma talking to him. ❜ the story wasn't true and even if it was matthieu wouldn't share it. but she could play pretend.

🌈🧸💕 ⋮ ➜ ❛❛ toto! there you are, you silly thing! ❜❜ dorothy exclaims, her tone equal parts exasperation && relief. the small dog has found company it would seem with a young woman and some other [ woodland animals. ] when he notices her though he quickly trots back to her with his tail wagging. ❛❛ i’m terribly sorry if he was being a bother. ---  now toto darling, you know better than run off like that. ❜❜ she gently taps his NOSE while giving him a stern look.

positivity for fairyraised : for @fairyraised! i admire them so much from afar but it’s so nice to see someone take on familiar characters and truly love them so much and breathe life into them. this is exactly what they do with aurora and it’s so nice to be able to have the opportunity to be mutuals with them because their love for their muse is so apparent and inspiring!
