Okay, so for my long history of playing Fallout 4, I've just played and modded it extensively on Xbox, as that's what I'm most comfortable with.

But now that I've nailed down how to mod Fallout New Vegas, and I'm now getting more comfortable with the pc. I'm thinking of modding Fallout 4 even more with Nexus mods! Also, good cause there mods I can't get on Xbox for one reason or another.

I have been Quite Offline recently! I joined two mod teams and have lined up two voice acting roles: I'm playing Janet Rockwell in an upcoming episode of CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story and Fuzzy Brenda in its sister series, Appalachia: A Fallout 76 Story. I love exploring narratives about people for whom their ego, superego and id are fundamentally at odds, as well as tightly-wound characters with a loose thread - if you tug on it, the character unravels in fascinating ways. For Janet, my inspiration was Kate Winslet's work in Revolutionary Road. She required me to really fucking pop off and go for the jugular; the casting director seemed happy. My take on Fuzzy Brenda went over so well that the writers now want to do more with the character than the single episode appearance that was planned. I'm normally a writer; the last time I acted in anything was middle school drama club, but I am having fun!

Going to have to learn project management for my hobbies so I can enjoy all my hobbies :''''') Though I enjoy modding and voice acting, I really desperately want to go spend time with RJ, Jack and Olivia in the fic, and right now I will have to make time. I miss them. Sometimes when life becomes too much, I imagine they grab me by the wrists and pull me back into their world. They aren't done with me; I'm not done with them. Maybe we'll never be done; I think I'm quite fearful of the notion.

The above is NPC dialogue and voice actor direction that I wrote today for Concord Stories. Hopefully this feels like a Bethesda NPC mixed with some of my sense of humour. I write the dialogue trees in a spreadsheet draft (this is a tiny screenshot of a WAY bigger document) and then I implement them in Creation Kit and send files back to the project lead. Long Time Running readers might recognize this dish from Chapter 16 :)

Clothing Mods I Use

Pretty much of these are all for Nick, because obviously he’s my favorite character and he deserves better clothes after dealing with my OC all this time.

I’ll add more once I can think of them all, because my mod list is crowded and I’m pretty sure I’ve missed some but I got all the ones in the screenshots that y’all seemed to love. 💖

Silent Marksman Outfit: I give it to Nick to give him a more adventurous outfit.

Retro Suits: I shove all the boys into one of these getups at some point or another. They all look snazzy and handsome.

Evil Detective: Nick is in fact not evil, but the outfit looks great on him. I use it for Jazzy too so she can twin with her dad.

Handmaidens Outfit: I think the tan and blue variant look best on Nick with the short overcoat so he primarily wears that while Jas wears the long overcoat in dark red.

True Detective: All these colored coats are perfect for Nick, one does turn him invisible when he crouches which is a bit scary when you’re least expecting it.

Eli’s Armor Compendium: The only one that I don’t use anything from for Nick, but the others I do.

Suit Up: More suit variants for the guys on my play through, they all be muy guapo. 😎😎😎

Mad Hatter: I dunno how I stumbled onto this old mod but I did so now I have even more fun hats and suits.

To change Nicks clothes I use Fashionable Synth Brothers, which means DiMA is not safe either from playing dress up.

in my most recent bout of hyperfocus i have gone and retextured the grifter's fit jacket from FO3's point lookout in various camo patterns got learned on how to bash armors together, somewhat use blender 2.49 and the GECK, create a leveled list inject script, and make a milsurp merchant NPC luckily in today's age with unofficial improvements plus SSDs using the GECK is much less of a pain!

Working on creating the H&K Mk23 pistol in New Vegas, at least as closely as I can get with base game assets.

This gun was used in real life by US special forces during the 90s and 2000s, but it's perhaps best known for its use by Solid Snake and Raiden in MGS 1 and 2 (the prime reason for wanting to recreate it.)

I'm really really happy with how this one's coming along, and should be releasing the mod on the Nexus in the next couple days.

I like how realistic and immersive this nail polish mod is, because it's exactly how one layer of black polish looks like on nail (absolutely not black). I won't be surprised if it's a bug, tho.

is there a mod that makes it so that clothing in new vegas doesn't change models based on what fucking gender you are? Im sick of taking a sweet looking suit off a guy and putting it on and its a fucking dress. or i take some nice armor of a guy, put it on, and now im in a crop top and booty shorts! what the fuck! I want to roleplay as a fucking butch! or at least have an actual jacket and pants! fuck!

So, I've seen a few posts lately that highlight Deacon's habit of ending up in just his undies...

I've been sitting on this for a little while...But I think it's time...

I use this nifty little mod called 'Liga of my Companions' (by far the best multi-follower mod out there!)

One feature is the companions can dress themselves...which is great! They go home and change into some casuals... Put on their armor when we're in combat zones, etc...But it can be a little glitchy at times.

I can no longer bring myself to use this feature.😳

Cards on the table. I like to use 'Enhanced Vanilla Bodies.' and not NeverNude...(Certain mods call for such a thing...it is just weird to bathe in your underpants, okay! 😜 CWSS for working bathroom fixtures btw.)

So, I'm running with Mac and Deeks, and suddenly, the pair of them started stripping...like full-on terrorizing enemies by charging at them with their 'assets' on full display. (body slamming enemies, leaping over obstacles...running out of bullets, and fist fighting instead of using their weapons...because I kept forgetting to turn on infinite ammo for them)

So here I am, chasing them around and yelling: "Deacon! Put your pants back on...oh, for f@#k sake Mac, not again!" Because after they did it once, they just kinda ran with it...They'd also be standing there with big grins, which is just normal companion behavior, but I dunno.

This time, it felt personal...

Guys...My fugging mum was watching me play...😱

She, of course, thought this was hilarious, and I guess I must have too considering how much my cheeks hurt from laughing.

I think my man walked in at one point, then walked right back out again once he realized what we were in hysterics about.

I am still not sure if that has been our weirdest mother/daughter moment, but it is definitely up there 🤣🤣🤣

(Mum's where I get most of my weirdness from, and my love for gaming. She spends her evenings playing FO76 or COD online...so she's a bit awesome. I'm not gonna lie!)

Note: I did eventually get it working properly, and actually stopped using the "dress yourself" feature because they are like toddlers dressing themselves!

They come up with some weird combinations....hmmm maybe I should give them a bunch of stuff and see what they come up with to illustrate my point some time 🤣🤣🤣

Spooky Month Begins

It is officially Spooky Month.

Unfortunately I don't have any new spooky mod projects this year, I've been preoccupied with other mod projects & real life Halloween projects.
